Reported here is an iridium-catalyzed enantio-divergent c（sp3）–H borylation of α-gem-dimethyl groups of trifluoromethyl ketone-derived hydrazones to construct a series of acyclic all-carbon quaternary stereocenters with a high level of chiral induction. Two different chiral bidentate boryl ligands from a common chiral source not only can switch the enantioselectivity but also are complementary in terms of the substrate scope.

Sodium-ion batteries （SIBs） with organic electrodes are an emerging research direction due to the sustainability of organic materials based on elements like c,H,O,and sodium ***,organic electrode materials for SIBs are mainly used as cathodes because of their relatively high redox potentials（>1 V）.Organic electrodes with low redox potential that can be used as anode are ***,a novel organic anode material （tetrasodium 1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxylate,Na4TDc） has been developed with low redox potential （cellent cyclic *** three-sodium storage mechanism was demonstrated with various in-situ/ex-situ spectroscopy and theoretical calculations,showing a high capacity of 208 mAh/g and an average decay rate of merely 0.022%per ***,the Na4TDc-hard carbon composite can further acquire improved capacity and cycling stability for 1200 cycles even with a high mass loading of up to 20 mg *** pairing with a thick Na3V2（PO4）3cathode (20.6 mg cm-2),the as-fabricated full cell exhibited high operating voltage （2.8 V）,excellent rate performance and cycling stability with a high capacity retention of 88.7% after 200 cycles,well highlighting the Na4TDc anode material for SIBs.

Solar flare forecasting based on a Fusion Model

Solar flare prediction is an important subject in the field of space *** learning technology has greatly promoted the development of this *** this study,we propose a novel solar flare forecasting model integrating Deep Residual Network(ResNet)and Support Vector Machine(SVM)for both≥c-class(c,M,and X classes)and≥M-class(M and X classes)*** collected samples of magnetograms from May 1,2010 to September 13,2018 from Space-weather Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager(HMI)Active Region Patches and then used a cross-validation method to obtain seven independent data *** then utilized five metrics to evaluate our fusion model,based on intermediate-output extracted by ResNet and SVM using the Gaussian kernel *** results show that the primary metric true skill statistics(TSS)achieves a value of 0.708±0.027 for≥c-class prediction,and of 0.758±0.042 for≥M-class prediction;these values indicate that our approach performs significantly better than those of previous *** metrics of our fusion model’s performance on the seven datasets indicate that the model is quite stable and robust,suggesting that fusion models that integrate an excellent baseline network with SVM can achieve improved performance in solar flare ***,we also discuss the performance impact of architectural innovation in our fusion model.

Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is an autoimmune disease,which attacks human joint system and causes lifelong inflammatory *** date,no cure is available for RA and even the ratio of achieving remission is very ***,to enhance the efficacy of RA treatment,it is essential to develop novel approaches specifically targeting pathological *** this study,we discovered that RA synovial fibroblasts exhibited higher reactive oxygen species(ROS)and mitochondrial superoxide level,which were adopted to develop ROS-responsive nano-medicines in inflammatory microenvironment for enhanced RA treatment.A selenocystamine-based polymer was synthesized as a ROS-responsive carrier nanoplatform,and berberine serves as a tool *** assembling,ROS-responsive berberine polymeric micelles were fabricated,which remarkably increased the uptake of berberine in RA fibroblast and improved in vitro and in vivo efficacy ten times ***,the anti-RA effect of micelles was blocked by the co-treatment of AMPK inhibitor or palmitic acid,indicating that the mechanism of micelles was carried out through targeting mitochondrial,suppressing lipogenesis and finally inhibiting cellular *** together,our ROS-responsive nano-medicines represent an effective way of preferentially releasing prodrug at the inflammatory microenvironment and improving RA therapeutic efficacy.

Preparation of co/S co-doped carbon catalysts for excellent methylene blue degradation

S and co co-doped carbon catalysts were prepared via pyrolysis of MOF-71 and thiourea mixtures at 800℃at a mass ratio of MOF-71 to thiourea of 1:0.1 to effectively activate peroxymonosulfate(PMS)for methylene blue(MB)*** effects of two different mixing routes were identified on the MB degradation ***,the catalyst obtained by the alcohol solvent evaporation(MOF-AEP)mixing route could degrade 95.60%MB(50 mg/L)within 4 min(degradation rate:K=0.78 min^(-1)),which was faster than that derived from the direct grinding method(MOF-DGP,80.97%,K=0.39 min^(-1)).X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy revealed that the co-S content of MOF-AEP(43.39at%)was less than that of MOF-DGP(54.73at%),and the proportion of c-S-c in MOF-AEP(13.56at%)was higher than that of MOF-DGP(10.67at%).Density functional theory calculations revealed that the adsorption energy of co for PMS was -2.94 eV when sulfur was doped as c-S-c on the carbon skeleton,which was higher than that when sulfur was doped next to cobalt in the form of co-S bond(-2.86 eV).Thus,the c-S-c sites might provide more contributions to activate PMS compared with ***,the degradation parameters,including pH and MOF-AEP dosage,were ***,radical quenching experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)measurements revealed that ^(1)O_(2)might be the primary catalytic species,whereas·O~(2-)might be the secondary one in degrading MB.

Structural reconstruction of electrocatalysts plays a pivotal role in catalytic performances for cO2 reduction reaction (cO2RR), whereas the behavior is by far superficially understood. Here, we report that cO2 accessibility results in a universal self-adaptive structural reconstruction from cu2O to cu@cuxO composites, ending with feeding gas-dependent microstructures and catalytic performances. The cO2-rich atmosphere favors reconstruction for cO2RR, whereas the cO2-deficient one prefers that for hydrogen evolution reaction. With the assistance of spectroscopic analysis and theoretical calculations, we uncover a cO2-induced passivation behavior by identifying a reduction-resistant but catalytic active cu(I)-rich amorphous layer stabilized by *cO intermediates. Additionally, we find extra cO production is indispensable for the robust production of c2H4. An inverse correlation between durability and FEcO/FEc2H4 is disclosed, suggesting that the self-stabilization process involving the absorption of *cO intermediates on cu(I) sites is essential for durable electrolysis. Guided by this insight, we design hollow cu2O nanospheres for durable and selective cO2RR electrolysis in producing c2H4. Our work recognizes the previously overlooked passivation reconstruction and self-stabilizing behavior and highlights the critical role of the local atmosphere in modulating reconstruction and catalytic processes.

In the intricate process of natural product biosynthesis, a metabolon can enhance metabolic flux by associating sequential enzymes. A fungal metabolon, comprising of flavin-dependent monooxygenase Spe F and P450 monooxygenase Spe G, is identified in the biosynthesis of spiro polycyclic alkaloids(+)-notoamide B and its diastereomer(+)-versicolamide B. Using notoamide E as a substance, Spe F/Spe G metabolon can control the stereoselectivity of its 2,3-epoxidation, followed by hydrogen atom ion at c-17 to generate reactive epoxide tau-m A with dienyl iminium unit. Subsequently,(+)-notoamide B and(+)-versicolamide B are produced via tandem nonenzymatic inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder reaction and semipinacol rearrangement. This provides the first example of metabolon in the biosynthesis of spiro-prenylated indole alkaloids.
