Smart farming has become a strategic approach of sustainable agriculture management and monitoring with the infrastructure to exploit modern technologies,including big data,the cloud,and the Internet of Things(IoT).Many researchers try to integrate IoT-based smart farming on cloud platforms *** define various frameworks on smart farming and monitoring system and still lacks to define effective data management *** IoT-cloud systems involve massive structured and unstructured data,data optimization comes into the ***,this research designs an Information-Centric IoT-based Smart Farming with Dynamic Data Optimization(ICISF-DDO),which enhances the performance of the smart farming infrastructure with minimal energy consumption and improved ***,a conceptual framework of the proposed scheme and statistical design model has beenwell *** information storage and management with DDO has been expanded individually to show the effective use of membership parameters in data *** simulation outcomes state that the proposed ICISF-DDO can surpass existing smart farming systems with a data optimization ratio of 97.71%,reliability ratio of 98.63%,a coverage ratio of 99.67%,least sensor error rate of 8.96%,and efficient energy consumption ratio of 4.84%.

The magnetic properties of a mixed Ising ferrimagnetic system consisting of spin-3/2 and spin-2 with different single ion anisotropies and under the effect of an applied longitudinal magnetic field are investigated within the mean-field theory based on Bogoliubov inequality for the Gibbs free energy. The ground-state phase diagram is constructed. The thermal behaviours of magnetizations and magnetic susceptibilities are examined in detail. Finally, we find some interesting phenomena in these quantities, due to applied longitudinal magnetic field.

The mixed spin-2 and spin-5/2 Ising ferrimagnetic system with different anisotropies (DA/z|J|) for the spin-2 and (DB/z|J|) for the spin-5/2 is studied by the use of the mean-field theory based on the Bogoliubov inequality for the free energy. First, the ground state phase diagram of the system at zero temperature is obtained on the (DA/z|J|,DB/z|J|) plane. Topologically, different kinds of phase diagrams are achieved by changing the temperature and the values of the single ion anisotropies DA/z|J| and DB/z|J|. Besides second-order transition lines, first order phase transition lines terminating at tricritical points, are found. The existence and dependence of a compensation temperature on single-ion anisotropies is also investigated.

The influences of technical factors on the catching efficiencies of gillnets are well understood,but less is known about the importance of environmental factors and how these might concurrently affect target-species *** we address this deficit for two economically important southeast Asian cyprinids(Labiobarbus festivus and Osteochilus hasseltii)during a one-year study at a key fishing location in Lake Kenyir,*** gillnets(each 200 m long,2 m deep and comprising either 38-,51-,or 76-mm mesh)were deployed each month concurrent with sampling of benthic macroinvertebrates and various environmental *** multivariate analyses(detrended correspondence analysis,redundancy analysis and permutational multivariate analysis of variance)were used to explore potential relationships between the extrinsic variables(mesh size,sampling season,water quality and,based on known prey items,benthic macroinvertebrates)and gillnet catches and the biological condition(growth co-efficient and hepatosomatic index)of the target *** of ***(the most abundant species)were positively influenced by water turbidity without seasonal effects,while their biological condition was positively influenced by benthic macroinvertebrates(mostly Trichoptera)and the concentrations of DO and phosphate,and negatively influenced by water *** comparison,seasonal influences on the catches and biology of *** were somewhat size specific with positive and negative effects of the monsoon on small and large fish,*** abundance of phytoplankton also positively affected the catches of ***,while their biological condition was positively influenced by water temperature,but negatively influenced by water *** species-specific differences were attributed to life histories,and although the more abundant *** might be best sought during any period of turbidity,effort should be focused during the monsoon when individuals

The main objective of multiuser orthogonal frequency division multiple access(MU-OFDM) is to maximize the total system capacity in wireless communication systems. Thus, the problem in MU-OFDM system is the adaptive allocation of the resources(subcarriers, bits and power) to different users subject to several restrictions to maximize the total system capacity. In this work, a proposed subcarrier allocation algorithm was presented to assign the subcarriers with highest channel gain to the users. After the subcarrier allocation, subcarrier gain-based power allocation(SGPA) was employed for power and bit loading. The simulation results show that the proposed subcarrier-power allocation scheme can achieve high total system capacity and good fairness in allocating the resources to the users with slightly high computational complexity compared to the existing subcarrier allocation algorithms.

The mixed spin-3/2 and spin-2 Ising ferrimagnetic system with different single-ion anisotropies in the absence of an external magnetic field is studied within the mean-field theory based on Bogoliubov inequality for the Gibbs free energy. Second-order critical lines are obtained in the temperature-anisotropy plane. Tricritical line separating second-order and first-order lines is found. Finally, the existence and dependence of a compensation points on single-ion anisotropies is also investigated for the system. As a result, this mixed-spin model exhibits one, two or three compensation temperature depending on the values of the anisotropies.

Quaternion algebra has been used to apply the fractional Fourier transform(FrFT)to color images in a comprehensive ***,the discrete fractional random transform(DFRNT)with adequate basic randomness remains to be *** paper presents a novel multistage privacy system for color medical images based on discrete quaternion fractional Fourier transform(DQFrFT)watermarking and three-dimensional chaotic logistic map(3D-CLM)***,we describe quaternion DFRNT(QDFRNT),which generalizes DFRNT to handle quaternion signals effectively,and then use QDFRNT to perform color medical image adaptive *** efficiently evaluate QDFRNT,this study derives the relationship between the QDFRNT of a quaternion signal and the four components of the DFRNT ***,it uses the human vision system's(HVS)masking qualities of edge,texture,and color tone immediately from the color host image to adaptively modify the watermark strength for each block in the color medical image using the QDFRNT-based adaptive watermarking and support vector machine(SVM)*** limitations of watermark embedding are also explained to conserve watermarking ***,3D-CLM encryption is employed to improve the system's security and efficiency,allowing it to be used as a multistage privacy *** proposed security system is effective against many types of channel noise attacks,according to simulation results.

In this paper,we show a strong correlation between turnstile entries data of the New York City(NYC)subway provided by NYC Metropolitan Transport Authority and COVID-19 deaths and cases reported by the NYC Department of Health from March to May *** correlation is obtained through linear regression and confirmed by the prediction of the number of deaths by a Long Short-Term Memory neural *** correlation is more significant after considering incubation and symptomatic phases of this disease as experienced by people who died from *** extend the analysis to each individual NYC *** also estimate the dates when the number of COVID-19 deaths and cases would approach zero by using the Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average model on the reported deaths and *** also backward forecast the dates when the first cases and deaths might have occurred.

Mycorrhiza improves plant growth and photosynthetic characteristics of tea plants in response to drought stress

Tea plants are sensitive to soil moisture deficit,with the level of soil water being a critical factor affecting their growth and *** mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)can improve water and nutrient absorption,but it is not clear whether AMF can improve the photosynthetic characteristics of tea plants.A potted study was conducted to determine the effects of Claroideoglomus etunicatum on plant growth,leaf water status,pigment content,gas exchange,and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters in Camellia sinensis *** Dabaicha under well-watered(WW)and drought stress(DS)*** mycorrhizal colonization and soil hyphal length were significantly reduced by the eightweek DS *** inoculation displayed a significant increase in shoot and root biomass *** relative water content,leaf water potential,nitrogen balance index,pigment content,maximum photometric effect(Fv/Fm,QY_max),and steady-state photometric effect Y(II)(QY_Lss)decreased dramatically,while the leaf water saturation deficit and steady-state non-photochemical fluorescence quenching(NPQ_Lss)generally increased under DS *** treatment induced significantly higher relative water content,leaf water potential,nitrogen balance index,pigment(chlorophyll,flavonoid,and anthocyanin)content,net photosynthesis rate,transpiration rate,stomatal conductance,intercellular CO_(2)concentration,QY_max,and QY_Lss;however,it resulted in a lower leaf water saturation deficit and NPQ_Lss under both WW and DS conditions,as compared with nonmycorrhizal *** results imply that AMF promoted tea plant growth and alleviated negative effects of DS by promoting gas exchange,regulating the water status of leaves,and regulating photosynthetic parameters.
