Wearable devices,interactive human-machine interface equipment,wireless sensors,and small-scale cleaning devices play crucial roles in biomedical implantation,disease treatment,health monitoring,environmental purification,*** devices require a sustainable energy source to work *** the consideration of the global energy crisis and environmental pollution,researchers are exploring new,stable,and environmentally friendly methods to power these low-powered *** energy is one of the most abundant natural energy *** mechanical energy from the ambient environment or host structures into electrical energy via the direct piezoelectric effect is an efficient energy harvesting *** paper reviews the application of advanced piezoelectric materials,and small-scale self-powered and self-sensing piezoelectric devices at the cubic centimeter scale in energy harvesting and health monitoring of human,animal,machinery,roads,bridges,as well as the pollutant degradation of the *** of these devices have the capability to not only harvest mechanical energy but also enable real-time monitoring and analysis of the electrical signals generated by the direct piezoelectric effect,facilitating prompt decision-making and appropriate *** addition,potential challenges and future prospects of small-scale self-powered and self-sensing piezoelectric devices are discussed.

The occurrence of earthquakes is closely related to the crustal geotectonic movement and the migration of mass,which consequently cause changes in *** Gravity Recovery And Climate Experiment(GRACE)satellite data can be used to detect gravity changes associated with large ***,previous GRACE satellite-based seismic gravity-change studies have focused more on coseismic gravity changes than on preseismic gravity ***,the noise of the north–south stripe in GRACE data is difficult to eliminate,thereby resulting in the loss of some gravity information related to tectonic *** explore the preseismic gravity anomalies in a more refined way,we first propose a method of characterizing gravity variation based on the maximum shear strain of gravity,inspired by the concept of crustal *** offset index method is then adopted to describe the gravity anomalies,and the spatial and temporal characteristics of gravity anomalies before earthquakes are analyzed at the scales of the fault zone and plate,*** this work,experiments are carried out on the Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding areas,and the following findings are obtained:First,from the observation scale of the fault zone,we detect the occurrence of large-area gravity anomalies near the epicenter,oftentimes about half a year before an earthquake,and these anomalies were distributed along the fault ***,from the observation scale of the plate,we find that when an earthquake occurred on the Tibetan Plateau,a large number of gravity anomalies also occurred at the boundary of the Tibetan Plateau and the Indian ***,the aforementioned experiments confirm that the proposed method can successfully capture the preseismic gravity anomalies of large earthquakes with a magnitude of less than 8,which suggests a new idea for the application of gravity satellite data to earthquake research.

The generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS)at the tumor site to induce destruction is emerging as a novel strategy for cancer treatment,which involves photodynamic therapy(PDT).Nevertheless,tumors typically create a hypoxic environment and are equipped with an endogenous antioxidant defense system that could potentially impede the efficiency of the therapeutic *** overcome these drawbacks,herein,a tumor microenvironment-responsive the ND-PAA-CD-Ce6@MnO2(NPCC@M)de-livery system was fabricated by disulfide bond coupling chlorin e6(Ce6)to nanodiamond(ND)and further wrapped by MnO2 nanosheets to facilitate *** use of disulfide bond not only stabilizes Ce6 in the blood circulation to prevent premature leakage,but also destroys the antioxidant barrier of overexpressed glutathione(GSH)in tumor ***,the outer MnO2 was rapidly degraded by the endogenous hydrogen peroxide(H2O2)in the acidic pH and GSH within the tumor cells,which leads to an abundance of O2 and while increases the level of 1O2 under laser *** results eventually broke the redox homeostasis and attenuate hypoxia,thereby inducing apoptosis and necrosis of tumor *** in vitro and in vivo biological effect has revealed a good biosafety profile and a high tumor suppression *** a novel ND-based system with tumor microenvironment-modulating capability to elevate oxygen content and promote GSH consumption in tumor cells opens new opportunities for enhanced ROS treatment paradigms.

Ynones are important skeletons in bioactive molecules and valuable building blocks for organic synthesis,thus great efforts have been devoted to their ***,introducing prochiral substrates to construct ynones bearing a chiral framework is unrealized to ***,we reported the first example of Pd/SOP-catalyzed asymmetric carbonylative alkynylation via a non-classical carbonylative Sonogashiratype approach(acyl-Pd(Ⅱ)species generated from nucleophiles).By using cyclic diaryliodonium salts as prochiral substrates,various axial chiral ynones with good functional group tolerance(39 examples),satisfied yields(71%-96%)and excellent enantioselectivities(generally 94%-99%ee)were *** of bioactive compounds,scale-up experiment and useful transformations were also conducted to demonstrate the utility of this process.

Electrochemical energy storage and conversion techniques that exhibit the merits such as high energy density,rapid response kinetics,economical maintenance requirements and expedient installation procedures will hold a pivotal role in the forthcoming energy storage technologies *** recent years,aqueous zinc-ion batteries（AZIBs） have garnered substantial attention as a compelling candidate for large-scale energy storage systems,primarily attributable to their advantageous featu res encompassing cost-effectiveness,environmental sustainability,and robust safety ***,one of the primary factors hindering the further development of AZIBs originates from the challenge of cathode ***,the three mainstream types of mainstream cathode materials,in terms of manganese-based compounds,vanadium-based compounds and Prussian blue analogues,surfer from the dissolution of Mn2+,in the low discharge voltage,and the low specific capacity,*** strategies have been developed to compensation the above intrinsic defects for these cathode materials,including the ionic doping,defect engineering,and materials ***,this review first provides a systematic summarization of the zinc storage mechanism in AZIBs,following by the inherent merit and demerit of three kind of cathode materials during zinc storage analyzed from their structure characteristic,and then the recent development of critical strategies towards the intrinsic insufficiency of these cathode *** this review,the methodologies aimed at enhancing the efficacy of manganese-based and vanadium-based compounds are emphasis ***,the article outlines the future prospective directions as well as strategic proposal for cathode materials in AZIBs.

This paper presents an attempt at assimilating clear-sky FY-4A Advanced Geosynchronous Radiation Imager(AGRI)radiances from two water vapor channels for the prediction of three landfalling typhoon events over the West Pacific Ocean using the 3DVar data assimilation(DA)method along with the WRF model.A channel-sensitive cloud detection scheme based on the particle filter(PF)algorithm is developed and examined against a cloud detection scheme using the multivariate and minimum residual(MMR)algorithm and another traditional cloud mask–dependent cloud detection *** show that both channel-sensitive cloud detection schemes are effective,while the PF scheme is able to reserve more pixels than the MMR scheme for the same *** general,the added value of AGRI radiances is confirmed when comparing with the control experiment without AGRI ***,it is found that the analysis fields of the PF experiment are mostly improved in terms of better depicting the typhoon,including the temperature,moisture,and dynamical *** typhoon track forecast skill is improved with AGRI radiance DA,which could be explained by better simulating the upper *** impact of assimilating AGRI radiances on typhoon intensity forecasts is *** the other hand,improved rainfall forecasts from AGRI DA experiments are found along with reduced errors for both the thermodynamic and moisture fields,albeit the improvements are limited.

As a promising candidate for the next generation energy storage system,rechargeable lithium-oxygen batteries(LOBs)still face substantial challenges caused by insulating discharge products that preclude their practical *** highly efficient cathode catalysts capable of facilitating formation/decomposition of discharge products is considered as an essential approach towards high performance ***,Pd decorated Te nanowires(Pd@Te NWs)were synthesized as advanced catalyst in LOBs to maximize Pd utilization and achieve synergistic effect,in which Pd clusters were uniformly grown on Te substrate though regulating the Pd:Te ***,Pd@Te nanowires assembled into an interpenetrating network-like structure by vacuum filtration and employed as flexible cathode,enabling LOBs achieved an ultralong 190 cycles stability and a superior specific capacity of 3.35 mAh·cm^(-2).Experimental studies and density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal the excellent catalytic ability of Pd@Te and synergistic catalytic mechanism of Pd and Te,in which uniform electron distribution,extensive electron exchange,and large adsorption distance between Pd cluster and discharge products promote homogeneous adsorption/desorption of discharge products,while the high adsorption energy of Te substrate for Li species reduces the initial dynamical energy barrier during discharging *** current work provides viable strategy to design composite catalysts for flexible cathode of LOBs with synergistic catalytic effects.

Herein, a site-selective paired electrochemical C–H oxidation of functionalized alkyl arenes promoted by nickel catalyst is disclosed. A Ni(Ⅱ)-dioxygen species formed in situ efficiently enable the oxidation process under mild conditions with a broad substrate scope with excellent functional group compatibilities,such as free carboxylic acid, aldehyde, halogen(including aryl iodide), amide and amino acid. The use of the nickel catalyst in combination with water provides a safe, green and economical method for oxidation of a range of molecules varying in complexity and drug derivatives, demonstrating its potential application in organic synthesis and the pharmaceutical industry. Reaction outcomes and mechanistic studies revealed the key role of the in situ Ni(Ⅱ)-dioxygen species for the subsequent oxidation of C(sp^(3))–H bonds,and short-lived reactive intermediates(aryl radical cation) was rapidly captured by the combination of a bipolar ultramicroelectrode(BUME) with nano-electrospray ionization mass spectrometry.
