The global incidence rates of in-hospital cardiac arrest(IhCA)range from1.2 to 9.0 per1,000 hospitalized patients,as per the national Cardiac Arrest Database.[1] While IhCAs tend to exhibit superior 30-day survival rates relative to out-of-hospital cardiac arrests (OhCA) due to situational advantages,such as immediate access to medical personnel and treatments.

hydrogen production by water reduction reactions has received considerable attention because hydrogen is considered a clean-energy carrier,key for a sustainable energy *** methods have been widely used to study the reaction mech.nism of the hydrogen evolution reaction(hER),but the calculation results need to be supported by experimental results and direct evidence to confirm the mech.nistic *** this review,we discuss the fundamental principles of the in situ spectroscopic strategy and a theoretical model for a mech.nistic understanding of the *** addition,we investigate recent studies by in situ Fourier transform infrared(FTIR),Raman spectroscopy,and X-ray absorption spectroscopy(XAS) and cover new findings that occur at the catalyst-electrolyte interface during *** spectroscopic strategies provide practical ways to elucidate catalyst phase,reaction intermediate,catalyst-electrolyte interface,intermediate binding energy,metal valency state,and coordination environment during hER.

Understanding and modeling individuals’behaviors during epidemics is crucial for effective epidemic ***,existing research ignores the impact of users’irrationality on decision-making in the ***,existing disease control methods often assume users’full compliance with measures like mandatory isolation,which does not align with the actual *** address these issues,this paper proposes a prospect theorybased framework to model users’decision-making process in epidemics and analyzes how irrationality affects individuals’behaviors and epidemic *** to the analysis results,irrationality tends to prompt conservative behaviors wh.n the infection risk is low but encourages risk-seeking behaviors wh.n the risk is ***,this paper proposes a behavior inducement algorithm to guide individuals’behaviors and control the spread of *** and real user tests validate our analysis,and simulation results show that the proposed behavior inducement algorithm can effectively guide individuals’behavior.

Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)possess a distinct advantage over conventional heterogeneous photocatalysts because of their carefully defined architecture and particular pores,which facilitate the targeted incorporation of other efficient cocatalysts or semiconductor *** integration of MOFs with other materials has resulted in significant breakthroughs,as the coupled materials improve the performance due to the combined *** unique MOF structures allow them to host foreign materials,which results in harvesting the visible region of the solar spectrum and effectively mitigating charge recombination by promoting charge *** review presents an evaluation of the latest developments in the utilization of surface and/or pore chemistry of MOF-supported heterojunctions for photocatalytic green-hydrogen generation with a basic understanding of the mech.nism *** review begins with the basic principles of photocatalysis,the significance of MOFs,their optical properties,the methods used for synthesizing MOFs,and their coordination with other inorganic and polymeric ***,methods to increase photocatalytic h2 evolution using MOF-supported heterojunction have been proposed as standard ***,to address environmental challenges,we highlight the future potential of MOF-supported heterojunctions for use in green-energy *** hope that this review provides guidance to researchers in the development of effective heterojunctions based on MOFs to address challenges in energy applications and catalytic processes.

In combination with theoretical calculations,experiments were conducted to investigate the evolution behavior of nonmetallic inclusions(nMIs)during the manufacture of large-scale heat-resistant steel ingots using 9CrMoCoB heat-resistant steel and CaF_(2)–CaO–Al_(2)O_(3)–SiO_(2)–B_(2)O_(3)electroslag remelting(ESR)-type slag in an 80-t industrial ESR *** main types of nMI in the consumable electrode comprised pure alumina,a multiphase oxide consisting of an Al_(2)O_(3)core and liquid CaO–Al_(2)O_(3)–SiO_(2)–MnO shell,and M_(23)C_(6)carbides with an MnS *** Al_(2)O_(3)and MnS inclusions had higher precipitation temperatures th.n the M_(23)C_(6)-type carbide under equilibrium and nonequilibrium solidification ***,inclusions can act as nucleation sites for carbide layer *** ESR process completely removed the liquid CaO–Al_(2)O_(3)–SiO_(2)–MnO oxide and MnS inclusion with a carbide shell,and only the Al_(2)O_(3)inclusions and Al_(2)O_(3)core with a carbide shell occupied the remelted *** M_(23)C_(6)-type carbides in steel were determined as Cr_(23)C_(6)based on the analysis of transmission electron microscopy *** substitution of Cr with W,Fe,or/and Mo in the Cr_(23)C_(6)lattice caused slight ch.nges in the lattice parameter of the Cr_(23)C_(6)***,Cr_(21.34)Fe_(1.66)C_(6),(Cr_(19)W_(4)C_(6),Cr_(18.4)Mo_(4.6)C_(6),and Cr_(16)Fe_(5)Mo_(2)C_(6)can match the fraction pattern of Cr_(23)C_(6)*** Al_(2)O_(3)inclusions in the remelted ingot formed due to the reduction of CaO,SiO_(2),and MnO components in the liquid *** increased Al content in liquid steel or the higher supersaturation degree of Al_(2)O_(3)precipitation in the remelted ingot th.n that in the electrode can be attributed to the evaporation of CaF_(2)and the increase in CaO content in the ESR-type slag.

Detailed sedimentological analysis of the Pokaran Boulder Bed,representing the most basal unit of the neoproterozoic-Lower Cambrian Marwar Supergroup,clearly indicates its glacial *** glacial sediments are interpreted as an ice-contact submarine fan *** on the detrital and inherited zircon population of the Marwar Supergroup sediments and interlayered pyroclastic deposits,a Marinoan cryochron of the Cryogenian Period is envisaged for the Pokaran Boulder *** well-preserved Ediacaran elements in the post-glacial sedimentary succession also support a Cryogenian to Early Cambrian age of the Marwar *** glacial deposition at the base of the Marwar Supergroup strength.ns the regional correlation between the studied sediments with the Lesser himalayan Blaini-Krol-Tal sediments and the haqf Supergroup of *** available zircon ages and paleomagnetic data of the Malani Igneous suite,along with the Marinoan glacial deposits,detrital zircon ages,and Ediacaran fossil elements of the Marwar Supergroup add significant information to the neoproterozoic Earth history.

A chemo-mech.nical model is developed to investigate the effects on the stress development of the coating of polycrystalline ni-rich LinixMnyCo_(z)O_(2)(x≥0.8)(nMC)particles with poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythioph.ne)(PEDOT).The simulation results show that the coating of primary nMC particles significantly reduces the stress generation by efficiently accommodating the volume ch.nge associated with the lithium diffusion,and the coating layer plays roles both as a cushion against the volume ch.nge and a ch.nnel for the lithium transport,promoting the lithium distribution across the secondary particles more ***,the lower stiffness,higher ionic conductivity,and larger thickness of the coating layer improve the stress *** paper provides a mathematical framework for calculating the chemo-mech.nical responses of anisotropic electrode materials and fundamental insights into how the coating of nMC active particles mitigates stress levels.

The prevalence of obesity has increased and is a health concern *** to the concerns regarding synthetic anti-obesity treatments,nowadays natural products become a *** studies proved that there is a potential to use marine algae as anti-obesity ***,in this study,the lipid inhibitory effect of crude polysaccharide of amyloglucosidase-assisted hydrolysate from Sargassum th.nbergii(STAC)and its fucoidan fractions(STAFs)on 3T3-L1 cells and high-fat diet(hFD)-induced obese mice were *** to the results,the STAF3,showed the highest xylose content and exhibited significant inhibitory effects on lipid accumulation by downregulating adipogenic and lipogenic proteins in 3T3-L1 ***,oral supplementation with STAC significantly declined gain in body weight and fat weight,and serum lipid contents in an hFD-induced obesity mouse *** and chemical characterizations demonstrated that puritied STAF3 has consistent surface morphology and small particle size,with similar structural characteristics as commercial ***,these results indicate that STAC and purified STAF3 from Sargassum th.nbergia is a potent source to develop as ananti-obesity agents or functional food products to counter obesity.

We present an azimuthal-rotation-controlled dynamic nanoinscribing(ARC-DnI)process for continuous and scalable fabrication of asymmetric nanograting structures with tunable periods and shape profiles.A sliced edge of a nanograting mold,which typically has a rectangular grating profile,slides over a polymeric substrate to induce its burrfree plastic deformation into a linear *** this continuous nanoinscribing process,the“azimuthal angle,”that is,the angle between the moving direction of the polymeric substrate and the mold’s grating line orientation,can be controlled to tailor the period,geometrical shape,and profile of the inscribed *** modulating the azimuthal angle,along with other important ARC-DnI parameters such as temperature,force,and inscribing speed,we demonstrate that the mold-opening profile and temperature-and time-dependent viscoelastic polymer reflow can be controlled to fabricate asymmetric,blazed,and slanted nanogratings that have diverse geometrical profiles such as trapezoidal,triangular,and ***,period-and profile-tunable ARC-DnI can be utilized for the practical fabrication of diverse optical devices,as is exemplified by asymmetric diffractive optical elements in this study.
