The exponentially increasing heat generation in electronic devices,induced by high power density and miniaturization,has become a dominant issue that affects carbon footprint,cost,performance,reliability,and *** metals(LMs)with high thermal conductivity are promising candidates for effective thermal management yet are facing pump-out and surface-spreading *** in the form of metallic particles can address these problems,but apparent alloying processes elevate the LM melting point,leading to severely deteriorated ***,we propose a facile and sustainable approach to address these challenges by using a biogenic supramolecular network as an effective diffusion barrier at copper particle-LM(EGaIn/Cu@TA)interfaces to achieve superior thermal *** supramolecular network promotes LM stability by reducing unfavorable alloying and fluidity *** EGaIn/Cu@TA exhibits a record-high metallic-mediated thermal conductivity(66.1 W m^(-1) K^(-1))and fluidic ***,mechanistic studies suggest the enhanced heat flow path after the incorporation of copper particles,generating heat dissipation suitable for computer central processing units,exceeding that of commercial *** results highlight the prospects of renewable macromolecules isolated from biomass for the rational design of nanointerfaces based on metallic particles and LM,paving a new and sustainable avenue for high-performance thermal management.

Glasses are known to possess low-frequency excess modes beyond the Debye *** decades,it has been assumed that evolution of low-frequency density of excess modes D(ω) with frequency ω follows a power-law scaling:D(ω)~ω~γ.However,it remains debated on the value of γ at low frequencies below the first phonon-like mode in finitesize *** simulation studies reported γ=4 at low frequencies in two-(2D),three-(3D),and four-dimensional(4D)glasses,whereas recent observations in 2D and 3D glasses suggested γ=3.5 in a lower-frequency *** is uncertain whether the low-frequency scaling of D(ω)~ω^(3.5) could be generalized to 4D ***,we conduct numerical simulation studies of excess modes at frequencies below the first phonon-like mode in 4D model *** is found that the system size dependence of D(ω) below the first phonon-like mode varies with spatial dimensions:D(ω) increases in2D glasses but decreases in 3D and 4D glasses as the system size ***,we demonstrate that the ω^(3.5)scaling,rather than the ω~4 scaling,works in the lowest-frequency regime accessed in 4D glasses,regardless of interaction potentials and system sizes ***,our findings in 4D glasses,combined with previous results in 2D and 3D glasses,suggest a common low-frequency scaling of D(ω)~ ω^3.5) below the first phonon-like mode across different spatial dimensions,which would inspire further theoretical studies.

A new hot mixed epoxy asphalt system was developed. The reaction process of epoxy resin was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The viscosity was investigated by Brinell viscometer when epoxy resin was mixed with asphalt. The glass transition temperature (Tg), homogeneity, thermal stability and viscoelasticity of epoxy asphalt were analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), metallographic microscope, thermogravimetric (TG) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). The results showed that the viscosity of epoxy resin modified asphalt reached 1000 mPa·s for more than 180 minutes at 180 ℃, while the best construction process is mixing at 180 ℃ for 2 hours and curing at 60 ℃ for 4 days. The particle size of asphalt is less than 50 μm. In addition, the mechanical properties of the materials are uniform within the specified pavement thickness.

A large number of pharmaceuticals and personal care products(PPCPs)persist in wastewater,and the consumption of PPCPs for COVID-19 control and prevention has sharply increased during the *** study investigated the occurrence,removal efficiency,and risk assessment of six typical PPCPs commonly used in China in two wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs).Ribavirin(RBV)is an effective pharmaceutical for severely ill patients with COVID-19,and the possible biodegradation pathway of RBV by activated sludge was *** experimental results showed that PPCPs were detected in two WWTPs with a detection rate of 100%and concentrations ranging between 612 and 2323 ng L^(-1).The detection frequency and concentrations of RBV were substantially higher,with a maximum concentration of 314 ng L^(-1).Relatively high pollution loads were found for the following PPCPs from influent:ibuprofen>ranitidine hydrochloride>RBV>ampicillin sodium>clozapine>*** removal efficiency of PPCPs was closely related to adsorption and biodegradation in activated sludge,and the moving bed biofilm reactor(MBBR)had a higher removal capacity than the anoxic-anaerobic-anoxicoxic(AAAO)*** removal efficiencies of sulfamethoxazole,ampicillin sodium,ibuprofen,and clozapine ranged from 92.21%to 97.86%in MBBR process and were relatively low,from 61.82%to 97.62%in AAAO process,and the removal of RBV and ranitidine hydrochloride were lower than 42.96%in both MBBR and AAAO *** discrepancy in removal efficiency is caused by temperature,hydrophilicity,and hydrophobicity of the compound,and acidity and *** transformation products of RBV in activated sludge were detected and identified,and the biodegradation process of RBV could be speculated as follows:first breaks into TCONH_(2) and an oxygen-containing five-membered heterocyclic ring under the nucleosidase reaction,and then TCONH_(2) is finally formed into TCOOH through amide *** ecological risks

Liquid biopsy of cancers,detecting tumor-related information from liquid samples,has attracted wide attentions as an emerging *** previously reported large-area PERFECT(Precise-Efficient-Robust-Flexible-Easy-ControllableThin)filter has demonstrated competitive sensitivity in recovering rare tumor cells from clinical ***,it is time-consuming and easily biased to manually inspect rare target cells among numerous background cells distributed in a large area(Φ≥13 mm).This puts forward an urgent demand for rapid and bias-free ***,this paper implemented deep learning-based object detection for the inspection of rare tumor cells from large-field images of PERFECT filters with hematoxylin-eosin(HE)-stained cells recovered from bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF).CenterNet,EfficientDet,and YOLOv5 were trained and validated with 240 and 60 image blocks containing tumor and/or background cells,***5 was selected as the basic network given the highest mAP@0.5 of 92.1%,compared to those of CenterNet and EfficientDet at 85.2%and 91.6%,***,tricks including CIoU loss,image flip,mosaic,HSV augmentation and TTA were applied to enhance the performance of the YOLOv5 network,improving mAP@0.5 to 96.2%.This enhanced YOLOv5 network-based object detection,named as BALFilter Reader,was tested and cross-validated on 24 clinical *** overall diagnosis performance(~2 min)with sensitivity@66.7%±16.7%,specificity@100.0%±0.0%and accuracy@75.0%±12.5%was superior to that from two experienced pathologists(10–30 min)with sensitivity@61.1%,specificity@16.7%and accuracy@50.0%,with the histopathological result as the gold *** AUC of the BALFilter Reader is 0.84±***,a customized Web was developed for a user-friendly interface and the promotion of wide *** current results revealed that the developed BALFilter Reader is a rapid,bias-free and easily accessible AI-enabled tool to promote the transplantation
