Potassium-ion batteries(PIBs)by virtue of their strong cost competitiveness and similar electrochemical properties to lithiumion batteries have been deemed to be a promising electrochemical energy storage *** promote the application in the commercial market,developing electrode materials with high specifi c capacities,superior cycling stability,and reliable safety is of great *** materials as an important component of PIBs play a decisive role,among which twodimensional transition metal chalcogenides(2D TMCs)have attracted wide attention owing to their unique material and electrochemical *** the 2D TMCs’family,molybdenum chalcogenides as fl agship are the most studied materials and demonstrated the potential as *** the deepening of research on 2D TMCs,another shining member that possesses similar properties to molybdenum chalcogenides,tungsten chalcogenides(WS_(2),WSe_(2),and WTe_(2)),has aroused tremendous *** many inspiring results,various challenges remain to be further addressed;meanwhile,some results are still unclear and ***,this review fi rst introduces their material properties and electrochemical storage ***,we systematically overview the research progress and put forward promoting improvement ***,challenges and opportunities that would be future research directions are discussed.

Cyanidin-3-O-glucoside alleviates trimethyltin chloride-induced neurodegeneration by maintaining glutamate homeostasis through modulation of the gut microbiota

Trimethyltin chloride(TMT)is a potent neurotoxin to cause neurodegeneration,especially in *** study aimed to identify dietary components that can effectively attenuate TMT-induced neurodegeneration in *** predominant anthocyanin in human diets,cyanidin-3-O-glucoside(C3G,5 or 50 mg/kg),was given to mice for 16 days,and TMT(2.7 mg/kg)was injected intraperitoneally once on the eighth day.C3G(50 mg/kg)significantly alleviated TMT-induced seizures and subsequent cognitive impairment by ameliorating hippocampal neurodegeneration and synaptic ***,C3G treatment restored glutamate homeostasis in brain and reversed glutamine synthetase(GS)inhibition in reactive astrogliosis and neuroinflammation,which are critical for C3G's neuroprotective ***,C3G decreased the lipopolysaccharide,tumor necrosis factor-α,interleukin-6,and interleukin-1βlevels in the mice,which potentially by modulating the relative abundance of Atopobiaceae and Lachnospiraceae in the gut.C3G may be a promising and practical dietary component for reducing TMT-induced neurodegeneration.

A probabilistic generative model for tracking multi-knowledge concept mastery probability

Knowledge tracing aims to track students’knowledge status over time to predict students’future performance *** a real environment,teachers expect knowledge tracing models to provide the interpretable result of knowledge *** chain-based knowledge tracing(MCKT)models,such as Bayesian Knowledge Tracing,can track knowledge concept mastery probability over ***,as the number of tracked knowledge concepts increases,the time complexity of MCKT predicting student performance increases exponentially(also called explaining away problem).When the number of tracked knowledge concepts is large,we cannot utilize MCKT to track knowledge concept mastery probability over *** addition,the existing MCKT models only consider the relationship between students’knowledge status and problems when modeling students’responses but ignore the relationship between knowledge concepts in the same *** address these challenges,we propose an inTerpretable pRobAbilistiC gEnerative model(TRACED),which can track students’numerous knowledge concepts mastery probabilities over *** solve explain away problem,we design long and short-term memory(LSTM)-based networks to approximate the posterior distribution,predict students’future performance,and propose a heuristic algorithm to train LSTMs and probabilistic graphical model *** better model students’exercise responses,we proposed a logarithmic linear model with three interactive strategies,which models students’exercise responses by considering the relationship among students’knowledge status,knowledge concept,and *** conduct experiments with four real-world datasets in three knowledge-driven *** experimental results show that TRACED outperforms existing knowledge tracing methods in predicting students’future performance and can learn the relationship among students,knowledge concepts,and problems from students’exercise *** also conduct several case *** case studies show that

Fabricating low-strain and fast-charging silicon-carbon composite anodes is highly desired but remains a huge challenge for lithium-ion ***,we report a unique silicon-carbon composite fabricated by uniformly dis-persing amorphous Si nanodots(SiNDs)in carbon nanospheres(SiNDs/C)that are welded on the wall of the macroporous carbon framework(MPCF)by vertical graphene(VG),labeled as MPCF@VG@SiNDs/*** high dispersity and amor-phous features of ultrasmall SiNDs(~0.7 nm),the flexible and directed electron/li+transport channels of VG,and the MPCF impart the MPCF@VG@SiNDs/C more lithium storage sites,rapid li+transport path,and unique low-strain property during li+***,the MPCF@VG@SiNDs/C exhibits high cycle stability(1301.4 mAh g^(-1) at 1 A g^(-1) after 1000 cycles without apparent decay)and high rate capacity(910.3 mAh g^(-1),20 A g^(-1))in half cells based on industrial electrode *** assembled pouch full cell delivers a high energy density(1694.0 Wh L^(-1);602.8 Wh kg^(-1))and an excellent fast-charging capability(498.5 Wh kg^(-1),charging for 16.8 min at 3 C).This study opens new possibilities for preparing advanced silicon-carbon com-posite anodes for practical applications.

Mobility and dynamic erosion process of granular flow:insights from numerical investigation using material point method

In order to understand the dynamics of granular flow on an erodible base soil,in this paper,a series of material point method-based granular column collapse tests were conducted to investigate numerically the mobility and dynamic erosion process of granular flow subjected to the complex settings,i.e.,the aspect ratio,granular mass,friction and dilatancy resistance,gravity and presence of water.A set of power scaling laws were proposed to describe the final deposit characteristics of granular flow by the relations of the normalized run-out distance and the normalized final height of granular flow against the aspect ratio,being greatly affected by the complex geological settings,e.g.,granular mass,the friction and dilatancy resistance of granular soil,and presence of water in granular *** index of the coefficient of friction of granular soil was defined as a ratio of the target coefficient of friction over the initial coefficient of friction to quantify the scaling extent of friction change(i.e.,friction strengthening or weakening).There is a characteristic aspect ratio of granular column corresponding to the maximum mobility of granular flow with the minimum index of the apparent coefficient of *** index of the repose coefficient of friction of granular flow decreased gradually with the increase in aspect ratio because higher potential energy of granular column at a larger aspect ratio causes a larger kinetic energy of granular soil to weaken the friction of granular soil as a kind of velocity-related friction *** increase in granular mass reduces gradually the indexes of the apparent and repose coefficients of friction of granular soil to enhance the mobility of granular *** mobility of granular flow increases gradually with the decrease in friction angle or increase in dilatancy angle of granular ***,the increase of gravity accelerates granular flow but showing the same final deposit profile without any dependence on ***

Due to its properties of mutagenic,teratogenic,and carcinogenic,the detection of furazolidone(FZD)in aquaculture is of great importance for food safety and human *** this study,molecularly imprinted fi lms modifi ed with carboxylated multi-walled carbon nanotube-phosphomolybdic acid composite were used to fabricate an electrochemical sensor for the determination of *** nanocomposites were characterized using infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy,and X-ray diff *** electrochemical characteristics of the modifi ed electrodes were examined using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,cyclic voltammetry,and diff erential pulse *** sensor exhibited exceptional catalytic *** calibration curves were acquired in the concentration range of 6 nmol·L^(−1)to 0.6μmol·L^(−1),with a limit of detection of 3.38 nmol·L^(−1).Additionally,the sensor proved successful in recognizing FZD in shrimp samples with satisfactory recoveries and *** method provides a strategy to construct a molecularly imprinted electrochemical sensing platform using nanomaterials,which has great promise in the field of food safety.
