Carbon isotopes are measured for individual long-chain n-alkanes in sediments from the Nansha Sea. The features of carbon isotopic compositions of individual n-alkanes and their origins are studied. The results show that the long-chain n-alkanes have a light carbon isotopic composition and a genetic feature of mixing sources, and low-latitude higher plants and microbes are considered to be their main end member sources. Based on the abundances and carbon isotopic compositions of individual n-alkanes, the fractional contributions of the two end member sources to individual n-alkanes are quantitatively calculated by using a mixing model. The obtained data indicate that the fractional contributions of the two biological sources are different in the three samples. A trend is that the contribution of microbes increases with the depth. These results provide the theory basis and quantitatively studied method for carbon isotopic applied research of individual n-alkanes.

Perovskite oxides with diverse composition and structure have exhibited grand advances in boosting the oxygen reduction and evolution reaction(ORR/OER),which are essential for the reversible protonic ceramic electrochemical cell(R-PCEC)toward the sustainable hydrogen production and ***,enhancement of their activity and stability remains ***,we develop the Ta-regulated BaCo_(0.7)Fe_(0.3.O_(3.δ)perovskite oxygen electrode(Ba(Co_(0.7)Fe_(0.3.)_(1-x)Ta_xO_(3.δ))with abundant oxygen defects and achieve the simultaneous enhancement in the electrocatalytic activity and stability toward ORR and ***-fabricated R-PCEC with(Ba(Co_(0.7)Fe_(0.3.)_(0.9)Ta_(0.1)O_(3.δ))(BCFT10)oxygen electrode performs high power density of 1.47 W·cm^(-2)at 650℃in fuel cell mode,and the current density is up to-2.11 A·cm^(-2)at 1.4 V at 650℃in electrolysis mode,as well as the good stability in both the fuel cell and electrolysis ***,the cell also demonstrates a stable cycling operation between fuel cell and electrolysis mode,suggesting a great potential of BCFT10 as oxygen electrode material for R-PCECs.

The platinum-based chemotherapy is a routine strategy for the treatment of ovarian cancer,while it is prone to chemoresistance in clinical,which hinders the ***,it is urgently needed to elucidate the underlying mechanism of drug resistance and form the appropriate *** sequencing results showed that cisplatin(DDP)resistant ovarian cancer overexpressed BTB and CNC homology 1(BACH1),and up-regulated the“don’t eat me”signal *** identified that hemin,a BACH1 inhibitor,could effectively down-regulate BACH1 and simultaneously inhibit ***,hemin has a synergistic effect with *** designed a pH-responsive nanoparticle(H/D@FA-CaP-NPs)in which folic acid(FA)ensured targeting of ovarian cancer cells,while hemin inhibited BACH1 as well as down-regulated CD47,achieving the promotion of apoptosis of tumor cells and inducing phagocytosis of tumors by ***,hemin has a synergistic effect with DDP to promote apoptosis of tumor ***,hemin and DDP was encapsulated within hydrophobic 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3.phosphoethanolamine(DSPE)to form a tight core,and hydrophilic polyethylene glycol 2000(PEG2000)and calcium phosphate(CaP)formed the outside shell,and FA was modified on the surface of *** terms of function,(a)FA enhanced the active targeting of nanoparticles to tumors;(b)NPs targeted mitochondria to induce reactive oxygen species(ROS)production;(c)hemin encapsulated in nanoparticles could specifically target BACH1,thereby down regulating CD47;(d)hemin had a synergistic effect with DDP,thus augmenting the ***,mitochondria-targeted nanoparticles H/D@FA-CaP-NPs promoted tumor apoptosis and mobilized phagocytosis to treat tumor,providing a novel scheme for clinical treatment of cisplatin-resistant ovarian carcinoma.

In a series of laboratory incubations using soils of two contrasting sitesfrom a temperate marsh on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, potential methane (CH_4) oxidation rates weremeasured to study the effects of inorganic N inputs on CH_4 oxidation. For adrained site, subsurfacepeat (5--15 cm) at an initial 20 mu L CH_4 L^(-1) showed a significantly different (P ying mineral soil layers (15--3. and 3.--50 cm) also had a strongCH_4 oxidation capacity at about an initial 2 000 mu L CH_4 L^(-1). With a waterlogged site, theCH_4 oxidation rate in an aerobic incubation was significantly greater (P 3. and 3.--50 cm depths. There was generally no or a veryweak effect from addition of NO_3.- on CH_4 oxidation. In marked contrast, NH_4^+ salts, such as(NH_4)_2SO_4, NH_4Cl and NH_4NO_3. exhibited strong inhibitions, which varied as a function of theadded salts and the initial CH_4 level Increasing NH_4^+ usually resulted in greater inhibition andincreasing initial CH_4 concentrations resulted in less NH_4^+ inhibition on CH4 oxidation innatural high-altitude, low-latitude wetlands could be as important as has been reported foragricultural and forest soils. The NH_4^+ effects on the CH_4 oxidation rate need to be furtherinvestigated in a wide range of natural wetland soil types.

Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE),a severe autoimmune disorder,is characterized by systemic inflammatory response,autoantibody accumulation and damage to *** dysregulation of double-negative(DN)T cells is considered as a crucial commander during ***,a significant type of protein post-translational modification(PTM),has been well-proved to regulate T cell-mediated immune ***,the function of neddylation in SLE is still ***,we reported that neddylation inactivation with MLN4924,a specific inhibitor of NEDD8-activating enzyme E1(NAE1),or genetic abrogation of Ube2m in T cells decreased DN T cell accumulation and attenuated murine lupus *** investigations revealed that inactivation of neddylation blocked Bim ubiquitination degradation and maintained Bim level in DN T cells,contributing to the apoptosis of the accumulated DN T cells in lupus *** double knockout(KO)lupus-prone mice(Ube2m-/-Bim-/-lpr)were generated and results showed that loss of Bim reduced Ube2m deficiency-induced apoptosis in DN T cells and reversed the alleviated lupus *** findings identified that neddylation inactivation promoted Bim-mediated DN T cell apoptosis and attenuated lupus ***,we also found that in SLE patients,the proportion of DN T cells was raised and their apoptosis was ***,compared to healthy groups,SLE patients exhibited decreased Bim levels and elevated Cullin1 neddylation ***,the inhibition of neddylation induced Bim-dependent apoptosis of DN T cells isolated from SLE ***,our findings provide the direct evidence about the function of neddylation during lupus,suggesting a promising therapeutic approach for this disease.

Differences in progress across sustainable development goals(SDGs)are widespread globally;meanwhile,the rising call for prioritizing specific SDGs may exacerbate such ***,how these progress differences would influence global sustainable development has been long ***,we present the first quantitative assessment of SDGs’progress differences globally by adopting the SDGs progress evenness *** results highlight that the uneven progress across SDGs has been a hindrance to sustainable development because(1)it is strongly associated with many public health risks(e.g.,air pollution),social inequalities(e.g.,gender inequality,modern slavery,wealth gap),and a reduction in life expectancy;(2)it is also associated with deforestation and habitat loss in terrestrial and marine ecosystems,increasing the challenges related to biodiversity conservation;(3.most countries with low average SDGs performance show lower progress evenness,which further hinders their fulfillment of SDGs;and(4)many countries with high average SDGs performance also showcase stagnation or even retrogression in progress evenness,which is partly ascribed to the antagonism between climate actions and other *** findings highlight that while setting SDGs priorities may be more realistic under the constraints of multiple global stressors,caution must be exercised to avoid new problems from intensifying uneven progress across ***,our study reveals that the urgent needs regarding SDGs of different regions seem complementary,emphasizing that regional collaborations(e.g.,demand-oriented carbon trading between SDGs poorly performed and well-performed countries)may promote sustainable development achievements at the global scale.

煤岩热解模拟实验为认识含煤盆地的成烃演化、煤层气地球化学特征的成因及其资源预测提供了科学依据。文章在3.6.8～600℃温度和50MPa压力及20℃/h和2℃/h升温速率条件下,对沁水盆地上古生界煤岩进行了热解生气模拟实验。结果表明,煤岩热模拟气体产物主要由甲烷(CH4)、C2-5烃类气体和二氧化碳(CO2) 非烃气体组成,氢气(H2)和硫化氢(H2S)含量极低;随着模拟温度的增加,气体产物中甲烷和大部分氢气(H2)的相对百分含量呈单向增加,二氧化碳表现为单向降低,C2-5烃类气体和硫化氢(H2S)气体先增加后降低;低温速率有利于甲烷、C2-5气体、氢气和二氧化碳气体的生成,并且它们的形成表现为多阶段性;相同升温速率下二氧化碳和氢气的相对产率与甲烷的相对产率变化表现为正相关,反映了它们与甲烷同是煤岩热解过程中同步进行的平行反应产物;相同模拟温度和温速条件下,山西组煤岩比太原组煤岩具有较高的产甲烷和C2-5烃类气体能力,这意味着在实际的地质环境中,山西组煤岩更有利于煤层气的形成。并且对煤岩生气热模拟实验结果在煤层气形成方面的示踪意义进行了探讨。

Traumatic spinal cord injury is potentially catastrophic and can lead to permanent disability or even *** has the largest population of patients with traumatic spinal cord *** studies of traumatic spinal cord injury in china have mostly been regional in scope;national-level studies have been *** the best of our knowledge,no national-level study of treatment status and economic burden has been *** retrospective study aimed to examine the epidemiological and clinical features,treatment status,and economic burden of traumatic spinal cord injury in china at the national *** included 13.465 traumatic spinal cord injury patients who were injured between January 2013.and December 2018 and treated in 3. hospitals in 11 provinces/municipalities representing all geographical divisions of *** epidemiological and clinical features,treatment status,and total and daily costs were *** in the percentage of traumatic spinal cord injuries among all hospitalized patients and among patients hospitalized in the orthopedic department and cost of care were assessed by annual percentage change using the Joinpoint Regression *** percentage of traumatic spinal cord injuries among all hospitalized patients and among patients hospitalized in the orthopedic department did not significantly change overall(annual percentage change,-0.5%and 2.1%,respectively).A total of 10,053.74.7%)patients underwent *** 2.8%of patients who underwent surgery did so within 24 hours of injury.A total of 2005(14.9%)patients were treated with high-dose(≥500 mg)methylprednisolone sodium succinate/methylprednisolone(MPSS/MP);615(4.6%)received it within 8 *** total cost for acute traumatic spinal cord injury decreased over the study period(-4.7%),while daily cost did not significantly change(1.0%increase).Our findings indicate that public health initiatives should aim at improving hospitals’ability to complete early surgery within 24 ho
