Facing the growing global challenge posed by cancer,the quest for more accurate and potent cancer diagnostic and therapeutic strategies continues to require a multidisciplinary integration *** review firstly summarizes various types of nanoparticles in cancer ***,it offers a comprehensive overview of signalenhancing techniques for visualizing in situ tumors,along with multimodal diagnostic methods for detecting *** for tumor therapy,cutting-edge drug delivery methods that can cross biological barriers and the pinpoint targeting of tumor lesions for precise medical intervention are *** the domain of therapeutic diagnostics,we elucidate the theoretical underpinnings and structural paradigms that underlie a spectrum of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic ***,we present a compendium of publications delineating the clinical applications of each nano-based theragnostic integration ***,this comprehensive review discusses the safety concerns pertaining to the clinical application of nanoparticles and proposes some strategic recommendations to enhance the precision and safety of theragnostic-guided,nanotechnology-based clinical practices.A deeper understanding of nanomaterials,together with intimate interdisciplinary collaborations,nano-wave will most probably guide human beings to win the battle against cancers.

Dynamics of magnetic microbubble transport in blood vessels

Magnetic microbubbles(MMBs)can be controlled and directed to the target site by a suitable external magnetic field,and thus have potential in therapeutic drug-delivery ***,few studies focus on their dynamics in blood vessels under the action of magnetic and ultrasonic fields,giving little insight into the mechanism generated in diagnostic and therapeutic *** this study,equations of MMBs were established for simulating translation,radial pulsation and the coupled effect of ***,the acoustic streaming and shear stress on the vessel wall were also presented,which are associated with drug *** results suggest that the magnetic pressure increases the bubble pulsation amplitude,and the translation coupled with pulsation is manipulated by the magnetic force,causing retention in the target *** the bubbles approach the vessel wall,the acoustic streaming and shear stress increase with magnetic field *** responses of bubbles to a uniform and a gradient magnetic field were explored in this *** mathematical models derived in this work could provide theoretical support for experimental phenomena in the literature and also agree with the reported models.

Characteristics of Sulfide Removal by Hydrogenovibrio thermophilus Strain TT in Mariculture System

To biologically inhibit the production of highly toxic sulfide in the aquaculture area,one bacterium,designated as Hydrogenovibrio thermophilus strain TT,was isolated from sediment in Jiaozhou Bay,*** strain was found to be microaerobic mixtrophic,employing both carbon dioxide and organic carbons,***,lactate,glucose,and peptone as carbon *** it oxidized the sulfide and thiosulfate,oxygen was the optimal electron acceptor,followed by nitrite and nitrate,which benefited to removal of sulfide under low-oxygen mariculture *** addition,the strain TT exhibited remarkable tolerance of sulfide and thiosulfate in seawater,and it was able to oxidize 18.52 mmol L^-1 S^2-in 12 h or 45 mmol L^-1 S2O3^2-in 24 h at initial pH 7.0-9.0,30-40℃.Therefore,this strain showed a quite promising application for biological remediation of sulfide-contaminated mariculture system.

Cloning and expression of SgCYP450-4from Siraitia grosvenorii

CYP450 plays an essential role in the development and growth of the fruits of Siraitia grosvenorii. However, little is known about the SgCYP450-4 gene in S. grosvenorii. Here, based on transcriptome data, a full-length c DNA sequence of SgCYP450-4 was cloned by reverse transcriptasepolymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) and rapid-amplification of c DNA ends(RACE) strategies. SgCYP450-4 is 1677 bp in length(Gen Bank accession No. AEM42985.1) and contains a complete open reading frame(ORF) of 1422 bp. The deduced protein was composed of 473 amino acids, the molecular weight is 54.01 kDa, the theoretical isoelectric point(PI) is 8.8, and the protein was predicted to possess cytochrome P450 domains. SgCYP450-4 gene was highly expressed in root, diploid fruit and fruit treated with hormone and pollination. At 10 days after treatment with pollination and hormones, the expression of SgCYP450-4had the highest level and then decreased over time, which was consistent with the development of fruits of ***. Hormonal treatment could significantly induce the expression of SgCYP450-4. These results provide a reference for regulation of fruit development and the use of parthenocarpy to generate seedless fruit, and provide a scientific basis for the production of growth regulator application agents.

SPH modelling of the Vortex-Induced Vibration of A Near-Wall Cylinder

The frequency-locked phenomenon commonly occurs in the vortex-induced vibration(VIV)of bluff *** simulation of this lock-in behavior is challenging,especially when the structure is positioned in close proximity to a solid *** establish a robust simulator,an enhanced smoothed particle hydrodynamic(SPH)model is *** SPH model incorporates a particle shifting algorithm and a pressure correction algorithm to prevent cavity formation in the structure's wake area.A damping zone is also established near the outlet boundary to dissipate the vortices that shed from the ***,GPU parallel technology is implemented to enhance the SPH model's computational *** validate the mo del,the predicted results are compared with the available refere nce data for flow past both stationary and oscillating *** verified SPH model is then employed to comparatively investigate the motion re sponse,lift characteristic,and vortex shedding mode of cylinders with and without accounting for the effect of boundary *** analyses demonstrate that the developed SPH model is a proficient tool for efficiently simulating the vibration of near-wall bluff bodies at low Reynolds number.

Electronic devices that are transparent and flexible have a wide range of applications in the domains of vital sign parameter monitoring,health management,and so *** memory is a revolutionary nonvolatile memory that is ideal for data storage and processing in transparent flexible electronic *** this study,Ce-doped hafnium oxide ferroelectric thin film is manufactured on mica substrate by the chemical solution deposition with transparent indium tin oxide(ITO)thin films as the bottom *** transmittance of mica/ITO/Hf_(0.85)Ce_(0.15)O_(2)thin film is over 80%.The 2Pr of the transparent flexible Hf_(0.85)Ce_(0.15)O_(2)ferroelectric thin film is increased by about 22.4%and the Ec is reduced by 26.7%compared with those of Hf_(0.85)Ce_(0.15)O_(2)ferroelectric thin film grown on p+-Si *** transparent flexible Hf_(0.85)Ce_(0.15)O_(2)ferroelectric thin film can remain keeping good quality when being bent under±2.5 mm bending ***,degradation of polarization,retention,and endurance performance was not obvious even at a bending radius of 5.0 mm after 104 bending *** research provides a new strategy and an important experimental basis for the development and implementation of transparent flexible ferroelectric memories.

Crystal structures and thermal expansion properties of Y_(2-x)Er_xmo_4O_(15) (x=0.0-2.0) solid solutions

A new series of rare earth compounds,Y2-xErxmo4O15 （x=0.0-2.0）,were synthesized and their structures were determined by powder X-ray diffraction （XRD）. Rietveld analysis of XRD patterns reveals that the compounds of this series crystallize in monoclinic system with space group P21/c. The lattice parameters a,b,c,β and the unit cell volume V de-crease linearly with increasing Er content. The thermal expansion properties of these compounds were studied under high-temperature XRD. Positive thermal expansions of compounds Y2-xErxmo4O15 are found to be anisotropic along the three crystallographic directions where a and c axes expand while b axis contracts in the whole temperature range. By analysis of data,the expansion of weak band mo2-O14 with rising temperature should be responsible for positive thermal expansion.

Behavioral control task supervisor with memory based on reinforcement learning for human-multi-robot coordination systems

In this study,a novel reinforcement learning task supervisor(RLTS)with memory in a behavioral control framework is proposed for human–multi-robot coordination systems(HMRCSs).Existing HMRCSs suffer from high decision-making time cost and large task tracking errors caused by repeated human intervention,which restricts the autonomy of multi-robot systems(MRSs).moreover,existing task supervisors in the null-space-based behavioral control(NSBC)framework need to formulate many priority-switching rules manually,which makes it difficult to realize an optimal behavioral priority adjustment strategy in the case of multiple robots and multiple *** proposed RLTS with memory provides a detailed integration of the deep Q-network(DQN)and long short-term memory(LSTM)knowledge base within the NSBC framework,to achieve an optimal behavioral priority adjustment strategy in the presence of task conflict and to reduce the frequency of human ***,the proposed RLTS with memory begins by memorizing human intervention history when the robot systems are not confident in emergencies,and then reloads the history information when encountering the same situation that has been tackled by humans *** results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed ***,an experiment using a group of mobile robots subject to external noise and disturbances validates the effectiveness of the proposed RLTS with memory in uncertain real-world environments.

Adsorption behavior of triphenylene on Ru(0001) investigated by scanning tunneling microscopy

As a representative of small aromatic molecules, triphenylene(TP) has markedly high carrier mobility and is an ideal precursor for building graphene nanostructures. We mainly investigated the adsorption behavior of TP molecules on Ru(0001) by using scanning tunneling microscopy(STM). In submonolayer regime, TP molecules are randomly dispersed on Ru(0001) and the TP overlayer can be thoroughly dehydrogenated and converted into graphene islands at 700 K. Due to weak interaction between TP molecules and graphene, the grooves formed among graphene islands have confinement effect on TP molecules. TP adopts a flat-lying adsorption mode and has two adsorption configurations with the 3-fold molecular axis aligned almost parallel or antiparallel to the ■ direction of the substrate. At TP coverages of 0.6 monolayer(ML)and 0.8 ML, the orientational distributions of the two adsorption configurations are equal. At about 1.0 ML, we find the coexistence of locally ordered and disordered phases. The ordered phase includes two sets of different superstructures with the symmetries of ■R23.41° and p(4 × 4), respectively. The adsorption behavior of TP on Ru(0001) can be attributed to the delicate balance between molecule–substrate and molecule–molecule interactions.

Inhibition of choroidal neovascularization by lentivirusmediated PEDF gene transfer in rats

AIM: To evaluate the effects of lentivirus-mediated pigment epithelium-derived factor (PEDF) gene transfer performed in treatment of rats with established choroidal neovascularization (CNV), and investigates the mechanism by which PEDF inhibits CNV in rats. METHODS: Brown Norway (BN) rats (n=204) were induced by exposure to a laser, and then randomly assigned to 3 groups: no treatment; treatments with intravitreal injection of lentivirus-PEDF-green fluorescent protein (GFP) or lentivirus-control GFP (free fluorescent protein). Following induction and treatment, the CNV tissue was assessed for form, size and vessel leakage by fluorescein fundus angiography (FFA), optical coherence tomography (OCT), histopathology, and examination of choroidal flat mounts. VEGF, Flk-1, and PEDF expression were evaluated by real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and Western blot. RESULTS: A stable laser-induced rat model of CNV was successfully established, and used to demonstrate lentivirus-mediated REDO gene transfer by intravitreal injection. Expression of green fluorescence labelled PEDF was observed in the retina up to 28d after injection. An intravitreal injection of lentivirus-PEDF-GFP at 7d led to a significant reduction in the size, thickness and area of CNV showed by FFA, OCT and choroidal flat mounts. PEDF was up-regulated while VEGF and Flk-1 were down-regulated in the lentivirus-PEDF-GFP group. The differences in VEGF and Flk-1 expression in the control and lentivirus-PEDF groups at 7, 14, 21 and 28d after laser induction were all statistically significant. CONCLUSION: Lentivirus-mediated PEDF gene transfer is effective for use in treatment of laser-induced CNV, and PEDF exerts its therapeutic effects by inhibiting expression of VEGF and Flk-1.
