Background This study aimed to analyze the pathogenic characteristics of community-acquired pneumonia(CAP)in a children’s hospital before and after the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic and to provide testimony for preventing CAP in the *** A retrospective analysis was *** information was collected from the electronic medical record system of the hospital.A total of 2739 children were included from February 1,2019,to January 31,*** Among these 2739 patients were 1507(55.02%)males and 1232(44.98%)females;the median age was 3.84 *** were 2364 cases during the pre-COVID-19 period and 375 cases during the post-COVID-19 *** number of hospitalized children after the pandemic was 84.14%*** median age after the onset was 1.5 years younger than that before the onset(4.08 years old)(Z=−7.885,Pbacteria(50.42%)>viruses(29.57%)>fungi(3.43%).During the post-COVID-19 period,the pathogen proportions were bacteria(56.53%)>viruses(53.60%)>MP(23.47%)>fungi(3.73%).Conclusions There was a significant decrease in the number of children with CAP hospitalized after the pandemic,especially among school-age children,and the pathogen proportions of CAP with MP and IV were significantly *** inferred that CAP was effectively prevented in school-age children because of the strong mitigation measures.

Detailed time-and-space-averaged structure of MgSO4 in the concentrated aqueous solutions was investigated via X-ray diffraction with an X’pert Pro θ-θ diffractometer at 298 K, yielding structural function and radial distribution function（RDF）. The developed KURVLR program was employed for the theoretical investigation in consideration of the ionic hydration and ion association. Multi-peaks Gaussian fitting method was applied to deconvolving the overlapping bands of Differential radial distribution function（DRDF）. The calculation of the geometric model shows that octahedrally six-coordinated Mg（H2O）62＋, with an Mg2＋…OW bond length of 0.201 nm dominates in the solutions. There exists contact ion-pair（CIP） in the more concentrated solution（1：18, H2O/salt molar ratio） with a coordination number of 0.8 and a characteristic Mg…S distance of 0.340 nm. The result indicates the hydrated SO42– ion happens in the solution. The S…OW bond distance was determined to be 0.382 nm with a coordination number of 13. The fraction of CIP increases significantly with the increasing concentration. The symmetry of the hydration structure of sulfate ion is lowered by forming complex with magnesium ion.

Heat shock protein 90(Hsp90) can promote growth and proliferation of cancer cells by helping in folding, conformational maturation, and activation of various client proteins. Therefore, Hsp90 has been paid more attention to as an anticancer drug target. Reported Hsp90 inhibitors have several limitations such as poor solubility, limited bioavailability, and hepatotoxicity. Here, a novel small inhibitor RJ19 has been designed using fragment-based drug discovery and synthesized. Additionally, a crystal structure of Hsp90 N-RJ19 was determined by X-ray diffraction(resolution limit, 2.0 A, PDB code 4 L90). The crystal structure of Hsp90 N-RJ19 was analyzed in detail and compared with that of native Hsp90 N, Hsp90 N-ATP, and Hsp90 N-GDM,respectively. It was indicated that RJ19 interacted with Hsp90~N at the ATP-binding pocket, which suggests that RJ19 may replace nucleotides to bind with Hsp90~N to result in chaperone function failure of Hsp90. RJ19, therefore, has emerged as a promising anticancer lead compound. Rearrangement and displacement of L2 Loop in Hsp90~N-RJ 19 play a key role in the function failure, which also makes the pocket wider and longer facilitating structure modification of RJ19 later. The complex crystal structure and interaction between RJ19 and Hsp90~N provide a rational basis for the design and optimization of novel anticancer drugs.

The Liaonan Metamorphic Core Complex: Constitution, Structure and Evolution

The Liaonan metamorphic core complex （mcc） has a three-layer structure and is constituted by five parts, i.e. a detachment fault zone, an allochthonous upper plate and an supradetachment basin above the fault zone, and highly metamorphosed rocks and intrusive rocks in the lower plate. The allochthonous upper plate is mainly of Neoproterozoic and Paleozoic rocks weakly deformed and metamorphosed in pre-Indosinan stage. Above these rocks is a small-scale supradetachment basin of Cretaceous sedimentary and volcanic rocks. The lower plate is dominated by Archean TTG gneisses with minor amount of supracrustal rocks. The Archean rocks are intruded by late Mesozoic synkinematic monzogranitic and granitic plutons. Different types of fault rocks, providing clues to the evolution of the detachment fault zone, are well-preserved in the fault zone, e.g. mylonitic gneiss, mylonites, brecciated mylonites, microbreccias and pseudotachylites. Lineations in lower plate granitic intrusions have consistent orientation that indicate uniform top-to-NW shearing along the main detachment fault zone. This also provides evidence for the synkinematic characteristics of the granitic plutons in the lower plate. Structural analysis of the different parts in the mcc and isotopic dating of plutonic rocks from the lower plate and mylonitic rocks from detachment fault zone suggest that exhumation of the mcc started with regional crustal extension due to crustal block rotation and tangential shearing. The extension triggered magma formation, upwelling and emplacement. This event ended with appearance of pseudotachylite and fault gauges formed at the uppermost crustal level. U-Pb dating of single zircon grains from granitic rocks in the lower plate gives an age of 130±2.5 Ma, and biotite grains from the main detachment fault zone have ^40Ar-^39Ar ages of 108-119 Ma.
