A power metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor(MOSFET) with dielectric trench is investigated to enhance the reversed blocking capability. The dielectric trench with a low permittivity to reduce the electric field at reversed blocking state has been studied. To analyze the electric field, the drift region is segmented into four regions, where the conformal mapping method based on Schwarz–Christoffel transformation has been applied. According to the analysis, the improvement in the electric field for using the low permittivity trench is mainly due to the two electric field peaks generated in the drift region around this dielectric trench. The analytical results of the electric field and the potential models are in good agreement with the simulation results.

The influence of submerged entry nozzle clogging on the behavior of molten steel in continuously cast slab molds was studied using commercial code CFX4.3. The results indicate that clogging at the top part of the nozzle port not only increases the velocity of molten steel, but also enhances the wall shear stress, F number and heat flux. This clogging has the greatest effect on the behavior of molten steel. However, clogging at the top 1/3 of the nozzle only increases the velocity of molten steel and has little influence. Clogging at the bottom of the nozzle almost has no influence.

Ultra-thin Pd-Ag alloy membranes were prepared initially by cold rolling, and it was found that there exist a large number of defects such as pinholes or cracks in the as-rolled membranes. Subsequently, these defects were repaired using electroless plating technique. The morphologies of the membranes have been examined by scanning electron microscopy （SEM）. It was observed in some as-repaired membranes that the defects were disappeared. A hydrogen permeation study has demonstrated that the as-repaired Pd-Ag alloy membranes were of high hydrogen permeation flux and hydrogen selectivity.

Numerous researchers have paid attention to achieve metal-free phosphorescence by exploring new structures or new ***,a facile way is introduced to endow a common fluorescence dye,tetrabromofluorescein(4 Br-Flu),some fabulous optical characteristics such as dual emission including thermally activated delayed fluorescence,room-temperature phosphorescence(RTP),and the excellent ***,4 Br-Flu with good light-emitting properties is composed into the polymer *** multiple bromine atoms promote the spin-orbit coupling effect and facilitate triplet ***,the hydrogen bonding network of the polymer restricts the molecular motion of4 Br-Flu so that the system can emit long-wavelength RTP when 4 Br-Flu is doped into polyvinyl alcohol or co-polymerized with *** to the reversible transformation of protonation and deprotonation,the 4 Br-Flu based polymer responded to acid and alkali like a phosphorescent switch which makes it an excellent hydrogen chloride/ammonia gas leak detector in dry environment.

The authors prove the gradient convergence of the deep learning-based numerical method for high dimensional parabolic partial differential equations and backward stochastic differential equations, which is based on time discretization of stochastic differential equations(SDEs for short) and the stochastic approximation method for nonconvex stochastic programming problem. They take the stochastic gradient decent method,quadratic loss function, and sigmoid activation function in the setting of the neural network. Combining classical techniques of randomized stochastic gradients, Euler scheme for SDEs, and convergence of neural networks, they obtain the O(K^(-1/4)) rate of gradient convergence with K being the total number of iterative steps.

The boundary condition is a crucial factor affecting the permeability variation due to *** experimental investigation on the permeability of gap-graded soil due to horizontal suffusion considering the boundary effect is conducted,where the hydraulic head difference(DH)varies,and the boundary includes non-loss and soil-loss *** samples are filled into seven soil storerooms connected in *** evaluation,the variation in content of fine sand(ΔR_(f))and the hydraulic conductivity of soils in each storeroom(C_(i))are *** the non-loss test,the soil sample filling area is divided into runoff,transited,and accumulated areas according to the negative or positive ΔR_(f) values.ΔR_(f) increases from negative to positive along the seepage path,and Ci decreases from runoff area to transited area and then rebounds in accumulated *** the soil-loss test,all soil sample filling areas belong to the runoff area,where the gentle-loss,strengthened-loss,and alleviated-loss parts are further divided.ΔR_(f) decreases from the gentle-loss part to the strengthened-loss part and then rebounds in the alleviated-loss part,and C_(i) increases and then decreases along the seepage *** relationship between ΔR_(f) and Ci is different with the boundary *** exponentially decreases with ΔR_(f) in the non-loss test and increases with ΔR_(f) generally in the soil-loss test.

A new aminoalkylsilane compound, （（2-（2-（N,N-dimethylamino）ethoxy）ethoxy） methyl）trimethylsilane （TMSC1N2） based on the oligo（ethylene oxide） chain end-capped with organosilicon functional group and alkylamine group on each end, was introduced as an electrolyte additive for lithium-ion batteries. Electrochemical performances of different volume ratios of TMSC1N2 in the baseline electrolyte were conducted through cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and galvanostatic charge/ discharge tests of lithium-ion batteries. With adding 5 vol.% TMSC1N2 to the baseline electrolyte （1 mol/L LiPF6 in ethylene carbonate and diethyl carbonate （EC：DEC = 1：1, in volume））, the capacity retention of LiFePO4/Li cells could be significantly improved from 74.7% to 90.8% after 130 cycles. Furthermore, TMSC1N2 showed good compatibility with graphite electrode and would not deteriorate the electrochemical performance of graphite/Li anode cells. These data suggested that TMSC1N2 could be utilized as an effective additive for lithium-ion batteries.

Understanding the relationships between snow and vegetation is important for interpretation of the responses of alpine ecosystems to climate *** Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau is regarded as an ideal area due to its undisturbed features with low population and relatively high snow *** used 500 m Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)datasets during 2001–2010 to examine the snow–vegetation relationships,specifically,(1)the influence of snow melting date on vegetation green-up date and(2)the effects of snow cover duration on vegetation *** results showed that the alpine vegetation responded strongly to snow phenology(i.e.,snow melting date and snow cover duration)over large areas of the Qinghai-Tibetan *** melting date and vegetation green-up date were significantly correlated(p<0.1)in 39.9% of meadow areas(accounting for 26.2% of vegetated areas)and 36.7% of steppe areas(28.1% of vegetated areas).Vegetation growth was influenced by different seasonal snow cover durations(SCDs)in different ***,the December–February and March–May SCDs played a significantly role in vegetation growth,both positively and negatively,depending on different water source ***’s positive impact on vegetation was larger than the negative impact.

Pathogenic and corrosive bacteria pose a significant risk to human health or economic *** specific,sensitive,and on-site detection of these bacteria is thus of paramount significance but remains *** inspiration from immunoassays with primary and secondary antibodies,we describe here a rational design of microbial sensor(MS)under a dualspecificity recognition strategy using Pseudomonas aeruginosa(***)as the detection *** the MS,engineered aptamers are served as the primary recognition element,while polydopamine-N-acetyl-D-galactosamine(PDA-Gal NAc)nanoparticles are employed as the secondary recognition element,which will also generate and amplify changes in the output voltage *** achieve self-powering capability,the MS is constructed based on a triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG)with the specific aptamers immobilized on the TENG electrode *** as-prepared MS-TENG system exhibits good stability in output performance under external forces,and high specificity toward ***,with no cross-reactivity observed.A linear relationship(R^(2)=0.995)between the output voltage and *** concentration is established,with a limit of detection estimated at around 8.7×10^(3) CFU mL^(-1).The utilization of PDA-Gal NAc nanoparticles is found to play an important role in enhancing the specific and reliability of detection,and the underlying mechanisms are further clarified by computational *** addition,the MS-TENG integrates a wireless communication module,enabling real-time monitoring of bacterial concentration on mobile *** work introduces a pioneering approach to designing self-powered smart microbial sensors with high specificity,using a double recognition strategy applicable to various bacteria beyond ***.
