This paper describes a wood-wood spatial joining system adapted to digital fabrication which has been designated the“Spatial Masterkey”.The wood stereotomy of the joints between the different pieces that make up this joining system is inspired by a three-dimensional puzzle called“snowflake”.The production process used in the masterkey system can be carried out using only a 3-axis CNC milling machine—a relatively affordable and easily accessible *** using digital manufacturing for the execution of wood-wood joints,several benefits are obtained including faster machining and greater cutting precision and uniformity in the products *** advantages make this joining system both economically competitive and environmentally ***,the versatility of this joining system means that its configuration can be adapted to a wide range of casuistry of encounters between members,which means that it can be used for a number of spatial *** includes,but is not limited to,the spatial module presented in this document.

Background Extracellular vesicles(EVs) present in oviductal(OF) and uterine fluid(UF) have been shown to enhance bovine embryo quality during in vitro culture by reducing lipid contents and modulating lipid metabolism-related genes(LMGs), while also influencing cell proliferation, suggesting their involvement on the regulation of different biological pathways. The regulation of signaling pathways related to cell differentiation, proliferation, and metabo-lism is crucial for early embryo development and can determine the success or failure of the pregnancy. Bioactive molecules within EVs in maternal reproductive fluids, such as micro RNAs(miRNAs), may contribute to this regulatory process as they modulate gene expression through post-transcriptional *** This study evaluated miRNA cargo in OF-EVs from the early luteal phase and UF-EVs from the mid-luteal phase, coinciding with embryo transit within oviduct and uterus in vivo, and its possible influence on LMGs and sign-aling pathways crucial for early embryo development. A total of 333 miRNAs were detected, with 11 exclusive to OF, 59 to UF, and 263 were common between both groups. From the 20 differentially expressed miRNAs, 19 up-regulated in UF-EVs(bta-miR-134, bta-miR-151-3p, bta-miR-155, bta-miR-188, bta-miR-181b, bta-miR-181d, bta-miR-224, bta-miR-23b-3p, bta-miR-24-3p, bta-miR-27a-3p, bta-miR-29a, bta-miR-324, bta-miR-326, bta-miR-345-3p, bta-miR-410, bta-miR-652, bta-miR-677, bta-miR-873 and bta-miR-708) and one(bta-miR-148b) in OF-EVs. The simultaneous study of demography and behavior might provide a more comprehensive understanding about animal responses to anthropogenic *** White-winged Dove(Zenaida asiatica)is a frequent dweller of urban and agricultural habitats in North America,Central America,and the ***,research on the species is heavily biased to the *** analyzed the response of the species to human disturbances during winter across an urban-agricultural landscape in northwestern Mexico through a demographic and behavioral *** modeled the effect of disturbance types(pedestrians,cars,pavement and building cover)on the density of the ***,we investigated if surveillance behavior varied across the landscape by estimating and comparing perching proportion among land uses(urban grey areas,urban green areas,cropfields,shrublands).We did not detect the species within cropfields,possibly because food resources were not available for the dove during winter in this land *** cover limited species’density,as it might reduce the surface of the preferred feeding substrates of the *** and building cover increased the density of the species,as they might provide food and shelter for the dove,*** behavior peaked in urban grey areas,whereas it dropped in urban green *** on threat levels,threat type,and protective cover among land uses might in-fluence such behavioral *** approach contributes to the knowledge of the species and demonstrates that both demographic and behavioral cues provide complementary evidence for analyzing the impact of human disturbances on animals.

The posterior gut of the Drosophila embryo, consisting of hindgut and Malpighian tubules, provides a simple,well-defined system where it is possible to use a genetic approach to define components essential for epithelial *** review here the advantages of Drosophila as a model genetic organism, the morphogenesis of the epithelial structures of the posterior gut, and what is known about the genetic requirements to form these *** overview, primordia are patterned by expression of hierarchies of transcription factors; this leads to localized expression of cell signaling molecules, and finally, to the least understood step: modulation of cell adhesion and cell shape. We describe approaches to identify additional genes that are required for morphogenesis of these simple epithelia, particularly those that might play a structural role by affecting cell adhesion and cell shape.

There is a scarcity of literature discussing nurses’ behaviors toward caring for suspected or confirmed human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) patients. The development of a scale specific to measure nurses’ behaviors will allow health institutions to assess the disposition of their nurses in terms of HIV care. This study aims to present the rigors of developing and validating a reliable instrument to contextualize these nurses’ behaviors. This study utilized a sequential exploratory mixed method design to develop the NB-CSHAP scale. Thematic analysis was done on the qualitative data from the interviews with persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLHA) from which items were selected to be included in the scale. Exploratory factor analysis was utilized to extract the factors and Cronbach’s alpha was used to assess the reliability of the instrument. Four factors were extracted and are categorized as either caring or discriminatory behaviors. These include: (1) service-oriented, (2) openhanded, (3) perceptive, and (4) discriminatory. The scale has an internal consistency of 0.73. The scale shows acceptable psychometric properties, hence can be used to assess the nurses’ behaviors in caring for confirmed or suspected HIV clients. The scale may be used by health institutions to determine the quality of the patient care provided by their nurses to clients with confirmed or suspected HIV .

Although it is recognized that the post-harvest system is most responsible for the loss of soybean quality,the real impact of this loss is still *** regulation allows 15%and 30%of broken soybean for group I and group II(quality groups),***,the industry is not informed about the loss in the quality parameters of soybeans and its impacts during long-term ***,the objective was to evaluate the effect of the breakage kernel percentage of soybean stored for 12 *** of 15% of breakage kernels did not affect soybean ***,content of 30% of breakage kernels affected significantly soybean quality,which was evidenced by the increase of up to 75% in moldy soybeans,72% in acidity,50% in leached solids,27% in electrical conductivity,and the decrease of up to 12% in soluble protein,6.4% in germination and 3.5% in thousand kernel weight after 8 months of *** the legislation establishes a percentage limit,it is recommended to store soybeans with up to 15% breakage *** the contrary,values higher than that can cause a significant reduction in soybean quality,resulting in commercial losses.

The results of mechanical testing and transmission electron microscopy on the ordered intermetallic Ll2 compounds1Zr3Al, Ni3Al, Ni3Si and Ni3Ge after irradiation with protons or heavy ions at high or low tem peratu re are presented and discussed. Using a minjaturjzed disk-bend test. it was found that proton irradiation of Zr3Al. Ni3Al and Ni3Si raises their yield strength :a single test of Ni3Ge shows no effect on the fracture stress of this brittle intermetallic The Vickers microhardness of all four alloys is raised by proton irradiation. The irradiations cause all the alloys to disorder. the extent of which is dependent on irradiation temperature Microstructural defects are produced by the irradiations Some exhibit strain-field contrast under dynamic two-beam diffracting conditions. Other distinct defect clusters are imaged only in dark-field using su perlattice reflections, These latter defects are discussed in the context of current arnorphization models. The strength increase of Zr3Al, Ni3Al and Ni3Si is attributed to a combination of disordering and strengthening from defects.
