Borehole blockage caused by asphaltene deposition is a problem in crude oil production in the Tahe Oilfield, Xinjiang, China. This study has investigated the influences of crude oil compositions, temperature and pressure on asphaltene deposition. The asphaltene deposition trend of crude oil was studied by saturates, aromatics, resins and asphaltenes （SARA） method, and the turbidity method was applied for the first time to determine the onset of asphaltene flocculation. The results showed that the asphaltene deposition trend of crude oil by the turbidity method was in accordance with that by the SARA method. The asphaltene solubility in crude oil decreased with decreasing temperature and the amount of asphaltene deposits of T739 crude oil （from well T739, Tahe Oilfield） had a maximum value at 60℃. From the PVT results, the bubble point pressure of TH 10403CX crude oil （from well TH10403CX, Tahe Oilfield） at different temperatures can be obtained and the depth at which the maximum asphaltene flocculation would occur in boreholes can be calculated. The crude oil PVT results showed that at 50,90 and 130 ℃, the bubble point pressure of TH 10403CX crude oil was 25.2, 26,4 and 27.0 MPa, respectively. The depth of injecting asphaltene deposition inhibitors for TH10403CX was determined to be 2,700 m.

Objective To investigate the relationships between erythrocyte membrane n-6：n-3 PUFAs ratio and blood lipids and high sensitivity C-reactive protein （hs-CRP）. Methods The Chinese and a observational study consisted of a population-based cross-sectiona subsequent 1-year follow-up study of 171 subjects with the fasting cholesterol of 5.13-8.00 mmol/L. study of 456 plasma total Results In the cross-sectional analysis, plasma low-density lipoprotein cholesterol （LDL-c） had a significant and negative association with the erythrocyte membrane n-6：n-3 PUFAs ratio （P for trend=0.019） after adjusting for sex, age and total PUFA percentage. In the follow-up study, 171 subjects were categorized into quartiles by the changes of n-6：n-3 ratio in erythrocyte membrane （△=month 12-month 0）. In the top quartile whose ratios of n-6：n-3 increased by an average of 1.25 during the follow-up, the LDL-c-lowering extent was 3.3 times of that in the lowest quartile whose ratios of n-6：n-3 decreased by an average of 1.13 （-1.07 mmol/L v.s. -0.32 mmol/L）. The hsCRP decreased by 0.11 mg/dL in the lowest quartile while increasing by 0.10 mg/dL in the top quartile （P for difference=0.052）. Conclusion Our results suggested that the balance between n-6 and n-3 fatty acids may optimize the cardiovascular benefits from dietary PUFAs.

To reduce the viscosity of highly-viscous oil of the Tahe oilfield （Xinjiang,China）,an oilsoluble polybasic copolymer viscosity reducer for heavy oil was synthesized using the orthogonal *** optimum reaction conditions are obtained as follows：under the protection of nitrogen,a reaction time of 9 h,monomer mole ratio of reaction materials of 3：2：2 （The monomers are 2-propenoic acid,docosyl ester,maleic anhydride and styrene,respectively）,initiator amount of 0.8% （mass percent of the sum of all the monomers） and reaction temperature of 80 *** synthesized viscosity reducer is more effective than commercial viscosity *** rate of viscosity reduction reached 95.5% at 50 *** spectra （IR） and interfacial tensions of heavy oil with and without viscosity reducer were investigated to understand the viscosity reduction *** viscosity reducer is added,the molecules of the viscosity reducer are inserted amongst the molecules of crude oil,altering the original intermolecular structure of crude oil and weakening its ability to form hydrogen bonds with hydroxyl or carboxyl groups,so the viscosity of crude oil is *** tests of the newly developed oil-soluble viscosity reducer was carried out in the Tahe Oilfield,and the results showed that 44.5% less light oil was needed to dilute the heavy oil to achieve the needed viscosity.

To observe the dietary glycemic load(GL) in patients with newly-diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM), and discuss the relationship between dietary GL and blood glucose and lipid, 201 patients with newly-diagnosed T2 DM and 126 people with normal blood glucose above 40 years old in communities of Guangzhou were enrolled. Carbohydrate(CHO) intake and GL were assessed based on 3-d dietary records. With GL as the dependent variable, correlation analysis and multiple regression were used to analyze the relationship between dietary GL and concentrations of blood glucose and lipid. The results showed that dietary GL in patients with newly-diagnosed T2 DM was significantly higher than control group((169.61±44.83) vs(157.50±38.47), P<0.05). Correlation analysis showed that dietary GL was positively correlated with BMI and Hb A1 c in patients with T2DM(r=0.187, P<0.01 and r=0.154, P<0.05, respectively), while negatively correlated with HDL-C in both control group and diabetes group(r=-0.197, P<0.05 and r=-0.207, P<0.01, respectively). Adjusted for age and sex by multiple regression, the result was the same. It is concluded that high-GL diet may be associated with the occurrence of T2 DM, and is closely related to glucose control and blood lipid metabolism. It is necessary for both patients with diabetes and healthy people to control dietary GL.

For decades, Dr. chen has been engaged in fish germplasm preservation, sex control and research focusing on molecular breeding for disease resistance. He discovered the first sex-specific molecular marker of fish(chen et al., 2007),deciphered the first fish genome(Chinese tongue sole) in China, revealed the sex determination mechanism in fish(chen et al., 2014), and created molecular sex control technology. He also discovered the molecular mechanism of metamorphosis in flatfish(Shao et al., 2017) and developed China's first fish disease-resistant breeding gene chip, “YUXIN No.1”.
