Detecting exogenous gene copy numbers is crucial for examining genetically modified organisms. Traditional methods face a trade-off between feasibility and cost, highlighting the need for a high-precision and low-cost alternative. In this study, we introduced the RISE method, which is based on Rare Allele Infusion and Sanger Sequencing Estimation, for rice.

Rice is an important dietary source of the toxic mineral cadmium(Cd) for populations in which rice is the main staple *** grown in agricultural soils that are contaminated with Cd,rice often accumulates excessive Cd into the grains,which is a serious threat to agricultural sustainability and human *** limit Cd accumulation in rice grains,studies on the genetic basis of Cd accumulation in rice have been carried out extensively,and some low-Cd rice varieties have also been developed in recent ***,the challenges in low-Cd rice breeding still exist because the outcomes of the current genetic improvements for low-Cd rice cannot fully meet the requirements for the development of Cd-safe rice at *** this review,we outline the progress in understanding the physiological mechanisms and the genetic nature of Cd accumulation in rice and summarize the strategies and outcomes of low-Cd rice breeding over the past *** graphing the physiological mechanism of Cd transport in the rice plant,three key steps and some underlying genes are summarized and ***,two genetic features of the natural variation in rice grain-Cd accumulation,the phenotypic plasticity and subspecies divergence,and the potential genetic explanations for these features are also ***,we summarize and discuss current progress and the potential issues in low-Cd rice breeding using different breeding *** hope to propose strategies for future success in the breeding of low-Cd rice varieties over the next decade.

目的探讨常规尿液检验与生化检验对诊断糖尿病(diabetes mellitus,DM)的价值。方法选取2023年1月—2024年1月福清市第二医院收治的80例疑似DM患者,以口服葡萄糖耐量试验为金标准,均接受常规尿液检验及生化检验,比较两种检验方法诊断结果、诊断效能(灵敏度、特异度、准确度、阳性预测值、阴性预测值)。结果80例疑似DM患者中,确诊DM患者47例,非DM患者33例;生化检验诊断的灵敏度为82.98%(39/47),特异度为78.79%(26/33),阳性预测值为84.78%(39/46),阴性预测值为76.47%(26/34),准确度为81.25%(65/80),高于常规尿液检验的53.19%(25/47)、48.48%(16/33)、59.52%(25/42)、42.11%(16/38)、51.25%(41/80),差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=9.596、6.548、7.062、8.719、16.101,P均<0.05)。结论生化检验较常规尿检验结果更准确,对DM的诊断价值更高。

We reported a novel rice variety developed by integrating the advantages of high eating quality from Xiangwanxiaa 17(XWX17)and rice blast resistance from Gumei 4(GM4)using a combination of traditional breeding and marker-assisted selection(MAS).Using molecular markers for QTLs/genes responsible for amylose content(AC),fragrance and blast resistance,three inbred lines were selected.

Copper （Cu） is an essential trace mineral element for all forms of life, and is an important structural component and co-factor for a variety of metalloenzymes （Pefia et al., 1999; Bertinato and L＇Abbe, 2004）. In humans, Cu deficiency is not common because of the ubiquitous occurrence of Cu and ease of gastrointestinal absorption （Zidar et al., 1977; Uauy et al., 1998）.

镉(Cd)容易通过食物链对人体产生毒害,其引起的“痛痛病”是人类历史上重要的公共卫生事件。Cd是我国当前土壤中的主要无机污染物,“镉大米”等事件仍时有发生,严重威胁粮食安全和人体健康。植物作为初级生产者,是人体Cd暴露的的主要途径。因此,阐释Cd向植物迁移、在植物体内的转运以及植物的Cd耐受机理,并依此指导低Cd作物的遗传改良和Cd污染环境的植物修复就具有重要的意义。本文综述了近10年来人们在植物Cd积累的调控机理、应对Cd污染的作物改良以及植物修复等方面的基础研究和应用成果,同时也探讨了该领域未来亟待解决的一些重要科学问题以及作物遗传改良设计的途径。

Herein,we achieved a green and efficient dearomatization for the synthesis of 2,3-functionalized polycyclic indolines in an electrochemical *** avoiding of external oxidants and metals approach allowed various nucleophilic sources(Nu¼anilines,TMSN3 and ROH)to perform the products,representing an environmentally benign ***,the continuous flow electrosynthesis and synthetic transformations also reveal the strong practicality of electrochemistry in organic synthesis.

Anther culture offers a rapid method of generating homozygous lines for breeding pro- gram and genetic *** produce homozygous transgenic lines of rice(Oryza sativa L.)in one step,we developed an efficient protocol of anther-callus-based transformation mediated by Agro- bacterium after optimizing several factors influencing efficient transformation,including callus induc- tion and Agrobacterium density for *** this protocol,we obtained 145 independent green transformants from five cultivars of japonica rice by transformation with a binary vector pCXK1301 bearing the rice gene,Xa21 for resistance to bacterial blight,of which 140 were further confirmed by PCR and Southern hybridization analysis,including haploids(32.1%),diploids(62.1%) and mixoploids(7.5%).Fifteen diploids were found to be doubled haploids,which accounted for 10.7%of the total positive ***,by including 28 from colchicine induced or spontaneous dip- loidization of haploids later after transformation,a total of 43 doubled haploids(30.7%)of Xa21 transgenic lines were *** also generated two RNAi transgenic haploids of the rice Os- MADS2 gene,a putative redundant gene of OsMADS4 based on their sequence similarity,to inves- tigate its possible roles in rice flower development by this *** from the two OsMADS2 RNAi transgenic haploids displayed obvious homeotic alternations,in which lodicules were trans- formed into palea/lemma-like tissues,whereas identities of other floral organs were *** phenotypic alternations were proved to result from specific transcriptional suppression of OsMADS2 gene by the introduced RNAi *** results confirmed that OsMADS2 is involved in lodicule development of rice flower and functionally redundant with OsMADS4 *** results demonstrated that rice anther culture could be adapted to gene transformation and RNAi analysis in rice.
