the study of modern pollen,and vegetation can improve the accuracy of paleoenvironmental reconstruction based on fossil pollen data.A total of 188 pollen surface samples were collected from Southern Xinjiang(34°00’–43°00’n,74°00’–94°00’e)in China,with an elevation range of 888–4530 *** pollen and vegetation were studied in the northern region of the Kunlun Mountains and the southern region of the tianshan *** results showed that the surface pollen assemblages on the southern slope of the tianshan Mountains(3530–1124 m)were divided into three pollen zones,namely,mont.ne steppe,mont.ne desert steppe,and mont.ne *** zones were dominated by Artemisia,Chenopodiaceae,and ephedra *** surface pollen assemblages in the eastern Pamir Plateau(4530–1287 m)could be divided into alpine meadow,mont.ne desert steppe,and mont.ne desert zones,which were predominantly characterized by Artemisia,Chenopodiaceae,and Asteraceae ***,the Southern tarim Basin(3548–888 m)comprised mont.ne desert steppe and mont.ne desert zones,which was dominated by Artemisia and Chenopodiaceae *** geographic distribution of the surface pollen sites obtained using ArcGIS,the R-value,and Pearson correlation analyses indicated that the over-represented Picea and Pinus pollen were of external origin and were transported by wind,water(rivers),and ice(glacier movement).Over-representation of ephedra and nitraria pollen was mainly distributed in the mont.ne desert and desert steppe zones,*** from Chenopodiaceae and Artemisia were over-represented and broadly distributed across Southern *** pollen was concentrated in areas with walnut trees,strongly indicat.ng the presence of local parent *** to the Hybrid Singleparticle Lagrangian Integrated trajectory model,more Pinus pollen was transported to the Pamir region by external airflows during spring and summer,result.ng in its higher surface pollen *** elucidat.ng t

BACKGROUnD Liver cancer treatment is characterized by multidisciplinary participation and coexist.nce of multiple treatment *** and int.nsity-modulated radiotherapy is a new precise radiotherapy technique applied to the treatment of systemic malignant *** is a lack of underst.nding of hypofractionated and int.nsity-modulated radiotherapy combined with systemic therapy in metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).CASe SUMMARY We report a case of metastatic HCC treated with hypofractionated and int.nsity-modulated radiotherapy combined with systemic therapy.A 41-year-old man was diagnosed with metastatic HCC(t.n1M1 stage IVB).Because it was found to be in the late stage of cancer and had already metastasized,it was impossible to undergo surgical *** addition to aggressive comprehensive treatment for the primary lesion,local treatment for metastatic cancer can improve the patient's survival *** and int.nsity-modulated radiotherapy can provide a larger single treatment dose within a shorter overall treatment time,and improve the local control rate of the ***-up examination demonstrated that the tumor and metastatic lesions had shrunk after *** treatment has showed good *** patient survived for 18 months without disease progression and stable disease persisted for>38 *** targeted therapy and immunotherapy followed by hypofractionated and int.nsity-modulated radiotherapy are also effective for advanced metastatic HCC.

Currently,human health due to corona virus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has been seriously *** coronavirus severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)spike(S)protein plays a crucial role in virus transmission and several S-based therapeutic approaches have been approved for the treatment of ***,the efficacy is compromised by the SARS-CoV-2 evolvement and *** we report the SARS-CoV-2 S protein receptor-binding domain(RBD)inhibitor licorice-saponin A3(A3)could widely inhibit RBD of SARS-CoV-2 variants,including Beta,Delta,and Omicron BA.1,XBB and ***,A3 could pot.ntly inhibit SARS-CoV-2 Omicron virus in Vero e6 cells,with eC50 of 1.016μ*** mechanism was related to binding with Y453 of RBD determined by hydrogen-deuterium exchange mass spectrometry(HDX-MS)analysis combined with quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics(QM/MM)***,phosphoproteomics analysis and multi fluorescent immunohistochemistry(mIHC)respectively indicated that A3 also inhibits host inflammation by directly modulat.ng the JnK and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)pathways and rebalancing the corresponding immune *** work supports A3 as a promising broad-spectrum small molecule drug candidate for COVID-19.

Graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)n_(4))nanosheets have attracted widespread interest in the construction of advanced separation ***,dense stacking and a single functionality have limited the membrane ***,an advanced two-/three-dimensional(2D/3D)g-C_(3)n_(4)/tiO_(2)@MnO_(2) membrane is constructed by intercalat.ng 3D tiO_(2)@MnO_(2) nanostructures into g-C_(3)n_(4) *** 3D flower-like nanostructures broaden the transport channels of the composite *** membrane can effectively separate five oil-in-water(O/W)emulsions,with a maximum flux of 3265.67±15.01 L·m^(-2)·h^(-1)·bar^(-1) and a maximum efficiency of 99.69%±0.45%for toluene-in-water emulsion(t/W).Meanwhile,the tiO_(2)@MnO_(2) acts as an excellent electron acceptor and provides positive spatial separation of electrons–holes(e^(-)–h^(+)).the formation of 2D/3D heterojunctions allows the material with wider light absorption and smaller bandgap(2.10 eV).these photoelectric properties give the membrane good degradation of three different pollut.nts,with about 100%degradation for methylene blue(MB)and malachite green(MG).the photocatalytic antibacterial efficiency of the membrane is also about 100%.After cyclic experiment,the membrane maintains its original separation and photocatalytic *** remarkable multifunctional and self-cleaning properties of the g-C_(3)n_(4) based membrane represent its pot.ntial value for complex wastewater treatment.

norovirus(noV)infection is a major cause of gastroenteritis *** virus poses great challenges in developing vaccines with broad immune protection due to its genetic and antigenic *** date,there are no approved noV vaccines for clinical ***,we aimed to develop a broad-act.ng quadrivalent.noV vaccine based on a chimpanzee adenovirus vector,AdC68,carrying the major capsid protein(VP1)of noroviral GI and GII *** to intramuscular(i.m.),intranasal(i.n.),or other prime-boost immunization regimens(i.m.t i.m.,i.m.t i.n.,i.n.t i.m.),AdC68-GI.1-GII.3(e1)-GII.4-GII.17(e3),administered via i.n.t *** higher titers of serum IgG antibodies and higher IgA antibodies in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF)and saliva against the four homologous VP1s in *** also significantly stimulated the production of blocking antibodies against the four *** response to re-stimulation with virus-like particles(VLP)-GI.1,VLP-GII.3,VLP-GII.4,and VLP-GII.17,the quadrivalent vaccine administered according to the i.n.t *** effectively triggered specific cell-mediated immune responses,primarily characterized by IFn-γ***,the preparation of this novel quadrivalent.noV vaccine requires only a single recombinant adenovirus to provide broad preventive immunity against the major GI/GII epidemic strains,making it a promising vaccine candidate for further development.

Background:Skeletal muscle energetics decline with age,and physical activity(PA)has been shown to offset these declines in older ***,many studies report.ng these effects were based on self-reported PA or structured exercise ***,we examined the associations of accelerometry-measured and self-reported PA and sedentary behavior(SB)with skeletal muscle energetics and explored the ext.nt to which PA and sedentary behavior would att.nuate the associations of age with muscle ***:As part of the Study of Muscle,Mobility and Aging,enrolled older adults(n=879),810(age=76.4±5.0 years old,mean±SD;58%women)had maximal muscle oxidative capacity measured ex vivo via high-resolution re spirometry of permeabilized myofibers(maximal oxidative phosphorylation(maxOXPHOS))and in vivo by ^(31)phosphorus magnetic resonance spectroscopy(maximal adenosine triphosphate(AtP_(max))).Accelerometry-measured sedentary behavior,light activity,and moderate-to-vigorous PA(MVPA)were assessed using a wrist-worn ActiGraph Gt9X over 7 ***-reported sedentary behavior,MVPA,and all PA were assessed with the Community Healthy Activities Model Program for Seniors(CHAMPS)*** regression models with progressive covariate adjustments evaluated the associations of sedentary behavior and PA with muscle energetics,as well as the att.nuation of the age/muscle energetics association by MVP A and sedentary *** a sensitivity analysis,we also examined activPAL-measured daily step count and time spent in sedentary behavior and their associations with muscle ***:every 30 min/day more of ActiGraph-measured MVPA was associated with 0.65 pmol/(s×mg)higher maxOXPHOS and 0.012 mM/s higher AtP_(max)after adjust.ng for age,site/technician,and sex(pt activity was not associated with maxOXPHOS or AtP_(max).Meanwhile,every 30 min/day spent in ActiGraph-measured sedentary behavior was associated with 0.39 pmol/s×mg lower maxOXPHOS and0.

the rapid synthesis of structurally complicated electron donors&acceptors still remains a major challenge in organic solar cells(OSC).In this work,we developed a highly efficient strategy to access long-chain oligomeric donor and acceptors for OSC applications.A series of cyclopentadithiophene(CPDt)and benzothiadiazole(Bt)-basedπ-conjugated oligomers,i.e.,three oligomeric acceptors(BtDt.n-IC(n=1—3)and one long-chain oligomeric donor(BtDt)4-RD,are facilely synthesized by an atom-and step-economical,and labor-saving direct C—H arylation(DACH)reaction(i.e.,C—H/C—Br cross coupling).note that(BtDt)4-RD involving five CPDt,four Bt and two rhodamine(RD)building blocks is the longest oligomeric donor in the fullerene-free OSC devices ever *** dependence of the structure-property-performance correlation of(BtDt.n-IC(n=1—3)and(BtDt)4-RD on theπ-conjugation lengths is thoroughly investigated by opto-electrochemical measurements,bulk heterojunction(BHJ)OSC devices and ***(BtDt)1-IC:PBDB-t and(BtDt)4-RD:Y6 BHJs achieve power conversion efficiencies of 9.14%and 4.51%,*** findings demonstrate that DACH reaction is a powerful tool to t.ne the opto-electronic properties and device performances by regulat.ng the lengths ofπ-conjugated oligomers with varied numbers of repeat.ng units.

为探讨污泥生物炭(Sludge biochar,C)和改性污泥生物炭(Modified sludge biochar,GC)添加对黑麦草(Lolium perenne L.)和土壤养分特性的影响,本试验以C和GC为材料,设置不同添加水平(0%,5%,10%,15%,20%)种植黑麦草,测定黑麦草和土壤养分等指标。结果表明,添加C、GC均促进了黑麦草的生长及其茎叶和根含水量的提高,5%的添加水平显著提高了黑麦草茎叶和根的干重。C、GC添加对黑麦草tn含量的提高效果最显著,其次为tK。C添加对提高黑麦草生物量的影响程度大于GC,而对黑麦草养分含量及其吸收累积,GC大于C。应用C、GC可提高土壤有机质和全氮含量,降低土壤pH,碱解氮和速效磷受生物炭类型影响。因此,土壤中添加5%~10%比例的C或GC对植物的生长有促进作用,有利于提高土壤的养分含量。
