Maintenance is an important technical measure to maintain and restore the performance status of equipment and ensure the safety of the production process in industrial production,and is an indispensable part of prediction and health ***,most of the existing remaining useful life(RUL)prediction methods assume that there is no maintenance or only perfect maintenance during the whole life cycle;thus,the predicted RUL value of the system is obviously lower than its actual operating *** complex environment of the system further increases the difficulty of maintenance,and its maintenance nodes and maintenance degree are limited by the construction period and working conditions,which increases the difficulty of RUL *** RUL prediction method for a multi-omponent system based on the Wiener process considering maintenance is *** performance degradation model of components is established by a dynamic Bayesian network as the initial model,which solves the uncertainty of insufficient data *** on the experience of experts,the degree of degradation is divided according to Poisson process simulation random failure,and different maintenance strategies are used to estimate a variety of condition maintenance *** example of a subsea tree system is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Objectives Behçet’s syndrome(BS)is a rare disease of unknown etiology,with limited reports especially in pediatric *** clinical characteristics and phenotypes of pediatric BS as a highly heterogeneous variable vessel vasculitis were investigated in this *** A cross-sectional study was conducted to compare clinical variables and descriptive characteristics of BS by age of onset and *** analysis was then performed to identify the phenotypes of pediatric *** A total of 2082 BS patients were included in this study,1834 adults and 248 *** with adult-onset BS,pediatric BS had a higher incidence of folliculitis[relative risks(RR)and 95%confidence interval(CI)1.3(1.0–1.5)],uveitis of the left eye[RR and 95%CI 2.3(1.0–5.0)],intestinal ulcer complications[RR and 95%CI 2.1(1.1–4.2)],pericarditis[RR and 95%CI 2.5(1.0–6.2)],and psychiatric disorders[RR and 95%CI 2.8(1.0–7.9)],while the incidence of thrombocytopenia was lower[RR 0.2(0.1–1.0)].Among pediatric BS,females had more genital ulcers,while males were more likely to have skin lesions,panuveitis,vascular involvement,venous lesions,cardiac involvement,and aortic *** analysis classified pediatric BS into five clusters(C1–C5):C1(n=61,24.6%)showed gastrointestinal(GI)involvement;C2(n=44,17.7%)was the central nervous system(CNS)type where 23 cases overlapped joint involvement;in C3(n=35,14.1%),all patients presented with arthritis or arthralgia;all patients in C4(n=29,11.7%)manifested ocular involvement,with a few patients overlapping with GI involvement or joint damage;C5(n=79,31.9%)was the mucocutaneous type,presenting both oral ulcers,genital ulcers,and skin *** The clinical features of pediatric and adult BS differ *** and female pediatric BS also have a distinct *** phenotypes including GI,CNS,joint,ocular,and mucocutaneous types were identified for pediatric BS.

Optimization of the co-closing law of guide vanes and blades for bulb turbines based on CFD

The load rejection transient process of bulb turbine units is critical to safety of hydropower stations,and determining appropriate closing laws of guide vanes(GVs)and runner blades(RBs)for this process is of *** this study,we proposed a procedure to optimize the co-closing law of GVs and RBs by using computational fluid dynamics(CFD),combined with the design of experiment(DOE)method,approximation model,and genetic optimization *** sensitivity of closing law parameters on the histories of head,speed,and thrust was analyzed,and a two-stage GVs’closing law associating with a linear RBs’closing law was *** results show that GVs dominate the transient characteristics by controlling the change of *** GVs’first-stage closing speed while shortening first-stage closing time can not only significantly reduce the maximum rotational speed but also suppress the water hammer pressure;slowing GVs’second-stage closing speed is conducive to controlling the maximum reverse axial *** directly affect the runner *** RBs’closing speed can further reduce the rotational speed and the maximum reverse axial *** safety margin of each control parameter,flow patterns,and pressure pulsations of a practical hydropower station were all improved after optimization,demonstrating the effectiveness of this method.

The metallic plasmonic array that can support both propagating surface plasmon polaritons(PSPPs)and localized surface plasmon resonance(LSPR)possesses rich optical properties and remarkable optical performance,making it a powerful platform for applications in photonics,chemistry,and *** practical applications,the excitation spot is usually smaller than the area of metal *** is thus imperative to address“how many array units are enough?”towards a rational design of plasmonic ***,we employed focused ion beam(FIB)to precisely fabricate a series of plasmonic array structures with increased unit *** utilizing photoluminescence(PL)and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS),we found that the array units outside the excitation spot still have a significant impact on the optical response within the *** with the numerical simulation,we found that the boundary of the finite array leads to the loss of PSPP outside the excitation point,which subsequently affects the coupling of PSPP and LSPR in the excitation spot,leading to variations in PL and SERS *** on the findings,we further tuned the LSPR mode of the metal arrays by electrodeposition to obtain strong near-field enhancement without any influence on the PSPP *** work advances the understanding of near-field and far-field optical behavior in finite-size array structures and provides guidance for designing highly-efficient photonic devices.

transformer is a switch gene for sex determination in many insects, which cooperates with transformer-2 that is expressed in both sexes to regulate female differentiation, particularly in dipterans. Zeugodacus cucurbitae(Coquillett) is a very destructive pest worldwide, however, its sex determination pathway remains largely uncharacterized. Here, we show that the female sex ratio is sharply reduced with knockdown of either transformer or transformer-2 by RNA interference in early embryos of Z. cucurbitae. Most of the males grown from the embryos with transient transformer and transformer-2 suppression mated with wild-type females and produced mixed sex progeny, with one exception that produced only female progeny, and all of the few remaining males failed to mate with wild-type females and produced no progeny. The exceptional male and those males with mating failure were XX pseudomales as determined by the detection of Y chromosome-linked Maleness-on-the-Y, indicating that most XX pseudomales are not viable. The phenotypes of transformer and transformer-2 suggest that they play a key role in regulating sex determination and are required for female sexual development of Z. cucurbitae. Our results will be beneficial to the understanding of sex determination in Z. cucurbitae and can facilitate the development of genetic sexing strains for its biological control.

Strengthening interface bonding between boron nitride nanosheets(BNNS) and copper matrix is an essential prerequisite for exploiting a new generation of copper matrix composites(CMCs) with high strength and wear resistance. Herein, BNNS/Cu composites were fabricated by the powder metallurgy route, matrix-alloying(adding 1.0 wt% Ti) strategy was adopted to improve the interfacial wettability and strengthen interface adhesion. A typical "sandwich"-like multiply interface structure involving TiN transition layers, BNNS and Cu matrix had been well constructed through the rational heat treatment(900℃for 120 min). Additionally, nano-sized TiB whisker was in situ formed in the vicinity of the interface, it had linked the BNNS-Cu-TiN multiply interface, which played a role of "threading the needle" and significantly strengthened the multi-interfaces bonding. This specific interface structure was finely characterized, and the formation mechanism of solid-state interfacial reaction feature was proposed. The results demonstrated that the ultimate tensile strength(UTS) of BNNS/Cu-(Ti)-900℃ increased from 248 to 530 MPa(increased by 114%), and the coefficient of friction(COF) decreased from 0.51 to 0.28 than pure Cu. This work highlights the importance of interface configuration design, which contributes to the development of CMCs with prominent comprehensive properties.

Objective This study aimed to examine the role of long non-coding RNA PCED1B antisense RNA 1(PCED1B-AS1)in the development of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods A total of 62 pairs of HCC tissues and adjacent non-tumor tissues were obtained from 62 HCC *** interactions of PCED1B-AS1 and microRNA-34a(miR-34a)were detected by dual luciferase activity assay and RNA pull-down *** RNA expression levels of PCED1B-AS1,miR-34a and CD44 were detected by RT-qPCR,and the protein expression level of CD44 was determined by Western *** cell proliferation was detected by cell proliferation assay,and the cell invasion and migration by transwell invasion *** HCC tumor growth after PCED1B-AS1 was downregulated was determined by in vivo animal *** PCED1B-AS1 was highly expressed in HCC tissues,which was associated with poor survival of HCC ***,PCED1B-AS1 interacted with miR-34a in HCC cells,but they did not regulate the expression of each ***,PCED1B-AS1 increased the expression level of CD44,which was targeted by *** cell proliferation and invasion assay revealed that miR-34a inhibited the proliferation and invasion of HCC in vitro,while CD44 exhibited the opposite ***,PCED1B-AS1 suppressed the role of ***,the knockdown of PCED1B-AS1 repressed the HCC tumor growth in nude mice in *** PCED1B-AS1 may play an oncogenic role by regulating the miR-34a/CD44 axis in HCC.

The photocatalytic conversion of CO_(2)into solar‐powered fuels is viewed as a forward‐looking strategy to address energy scarcity and global *** work demonstrated the selective photoreduction of CO_(2)to CO using ultrathin Bi_(12)O_(17)Cl_(2)nanosheets decorated with hydrothermally synthesized bismuth clusters and oxygen vacancies(OVs).The characterizations revealed that the coexistences of OVs and Bi clusters generated in situ contributed to the high efficiency of CO_(2)–CO conversion(64.3μmol g^(−1)h^(−1))and perfect *** OVs on the facet(001)of the ultrathin Bi_(12)O_(17)Cl_(2)nanosheets serve as sites for CO_(2)adsorption and activation sites,capturing photoexcited electrons and prolonging light absorption due to defect *** addition,the Bi‐cluster generated in situ offers the ability to trap holes and the surface plasmonic resonance *** study offers great potential for the construction of semiconductor hybrids as multiphotocatalysts,capable of being used for the elimination and conversion of CO_(2)in terms of energy and environment.
