controlling the content of athermal martensite and retained austenite is important to improving the mechanical properties of high-strength steels,but a mechanism for the accurate desc.iption of martensitic transformation during the cooling process must be *** present,frequently used semi-empirical kinetics models suffer from huge errors at the beginning of transformation,and most of them fail to exhibit the sigmoidal shape characteristic of transformation *** desc.ibe the martensitic transformation process accurately,based on the Magee model,we introduced the changes in the nucleation ac.ivation energy of martensite with temperature,which led to the varying nucleation rates of this model during martensitic *** to the calculation results,the relative error of the modified model for the martensitic transformation kinetics curves of Fe-c-X(X = Ni,cr,Mn,Si) alloys reached 9.5% compared with those measured via the thermal expansion *** relative error was approximately reduced by two-thirds compared with that of the Magee *** incorporation of nucleation ac.ivation energy into the kinetics model contributes to the improvement of its precision.

A refined representation method of the particle size distribution curve based on grading entropy

The particle size distribution(PSD)curve is an important expression of the basic properties of the *** characteristic parameters such as median particle size D_(50),effec.ive particle size D_(10),and some combinations of characteristic parameters can only represent some points of the PSD curve,failing to represent all information of the PSD *** this paper,a frac.ion characteristic parameter F that could reflect the frac.ion size variation of the PSD curve was introduced based on grading *** a new presentation method of the A-B-F three parameters was proposed for a refined representation of the PSD *** was found that the newly constructed model not only better represents the differences in the width of PSD curves but also has a higher sensitivity than the A-B two-parameter model proposed by Lő*** PSD curves with similar distributions,the new presentation method has a higher degree of disc.imination than that of the D_(50)-c_(u)-c_(c) three-parameter or the four-parameter combination G_(c) proposed by ***,the application of this new method in desc.ibing the spatial nonuniformity distribution of depositions and predic.ing the soil hydraulic conduc.ivity was *** research results can provide a reference for the refined representation of PSD curves.

On-c.ip Micro Temperature controllers Based on Freestanding Thermoelectric Nano Films for Low-Power Electronics

Multidimensional integration and multifunc.ional com-ponent assembly have been greatly explored in recent years to extend Moore’s Law of modern ***,this inevitably exac-erbates the inhomogeneity of temperature distribution in microsystems,making precise temperature control for electronic components extremely ***,we report an on-c.ip micro temperature controller including a pair of thermoelectric legs with a total area of 50×50μm^(2),which are fabricated from dense and flat freestanding Bi2Te3-based ther-moelectric nano films deposited on a newly developed nano graphene oxide membrane *** tunable equivalent thermal resistance is controlled by electrical currents to ac.ieve energy-efficient temperature control for low-power electronics.A large cooling temperature difference of 44.5 K at 380 K is ac.ieved with a power consumption of only 445μW,resulting in an ultrahigh temperature control capability over 100 K mW^(-1).Moreover,an ultra-fast cooling rate exceeding 2000 K s^(-1) and excellent reliability of up to 1 million cycles are *** proposed on-c.ip temperature controller is expected to enable further miniaturization and multifunc.ional integration on a single c.ip for microelectronics.

Accurate genomic.information is essential for advancing genetic breeding research in specific rice *** study presented a gapless genome assembly of the indica rice cultivar Zhonghui 8015(ZH8015)using Pac Bio HiFi,Hi-c,and ONT(Oxford Nanopore Technologies)ultra-long sequencing technologies,annotating 43037 gene ***,utilizing this genome along with transc.iptomic and metabolomic techniques,we explored ZH8015's response to brown planthopper(BPH)*** transc.iptomic sampling indicated significant changes in gene expression levels around 48 h after BPH *** analysis revealed particularly significant alterations in genes related to reac.ive oxygen species scavenging and cell wall *** results demonstrated marked increases in levels of several monosaccharides,which are components of the cell wall and dramatic changes in flavonoid *** association analysis identified differentially expressed genes associated with key metabolites,shedding light on ZH8015's response to BPH *** summary,this study constructed a reliable genome sequence resource for ZH8015,and the preliminary multi-omics results will guide future insect-resistant breeding research.

Two-dimensional(2D)materials have attracted a great deal of research interest because of their unique electrical,magnetic,optical,mechanical,and catalytic properties for various *** date,however,it is still difficult to fabricate most func.ional oxides as 2D materials unless they have a layered ***,we report a one-step universal strategy for preparing versatile non-layered oxide nanosheets by directly annealing the mixture of metal nitrate and dimethyl imidazole(2-Mi).The 2-Mi plays the key role for 2D oxides since 2-Mi owns a very low molten point and sublimation temperature,in which its molten liquid can coordinate with metal ions,forming a metal-organic framework,and easily puffing by its gas molecules.A total of 17 materials were prepared by this strategy,including non-layered metal oxide nanosheets as well as metal/metal oxide loaded nitrogen-doped carbon *** as-prepared cobalt particle-loaded nitrogen-doped carbon nanosheets(co@N/c)exhibit remarkable bifunc.ional oxygen reduc.ion reac.ion(ORR)and oxygen evolution reac.ion(OER)electrocatalytic ac.ivity and ***,the Zn-air battery utilizing a co@N/c catalyst exhibits high power density of 174.3 mW·cm^(-2).This facile strategy opens up a new way for large-scale synthesis of 2D oxides that holds great potential to push 2D oxides for prac.ical applications.

Transition metal-nitrogen-carbon(M-N-c)as a promising substitute for the conventional noble metalbased catalyst still suffers from low ac.ivity and durability for oxygen reduc.ion reac.ion(ORR)in proton exchange membrane fuel cells(PEMFcs).To tackle the issue,herein,a new type of sulfur-doped ironnitrogen-hard carbon(S-Fe-N-Hc)nanosheets with high ac.ivity and durability in acid media were developed by using a newly synthesized precursor of amide-based polymer with Fe ions based on copolymerizing two monomers of 2,5-thiophene dicarboxylic acid(TDA)as S source and 1,8-diaminonaphthalene(DAN)as N source via an amination *** as-synthesized S-Fe-N-Hc features highly dispersed atomic Fe Nxmoieties embedded into rich thiophene-S doped hard carbon nanosheets filled with highly twisted graphite-like microcrystals,which is distinguished from the majority of M-N-c with soft or graphitic carbon *** unique characteristics endow S-Fe-N-Hc with high ORR ac.ivity and outstanding durability in 0.5 M H_(2)SO_(4).its initial half-wave potential is 0.80 V and the corresponding loss is only 21 m V after 30,000 ***,its prac.ical PEMFc performance is a maximum power output of 628.0 mW cm^(-2)and a slight power density loss is 83.0 m W cm^(-2)after 200-cycle prac.ical ***,theoretical calculation shows that the ac.ivity of Fe Nxmoieties on ORR can be further enhanced by sulfur doping at meta-site near FeN_(4)*** results evidently demonstrate that the dual effect of hard carbon substrate and S doping derived from the precursor platform of amid-polymers can effec.ively enhance the ac.ivity and durability of Fe-N-c catalysts,providing a new guidance for developing advanced M-N-c catalysts for ORR.

Genetic Analysis of Two Novel GPi Variants Disrupting H Bonds and Localization characteristics of 55 Gene Variants Associated with Glucose-6-phosphate isomerase Deficiency

Objec.ive:Glucose-6-phosphate isomerase(GPi)deficiency is a rare hereditary nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia caused by GPi gene *** disorder exhibits wide heterogeneity in its c.inical manifestations and molecular characteristics,often posing challenges for precise diagnoses using conventional *** this end,this study aimed to identify the novel variants responsible for GPi deficiency in a c.inese ***:The c.inical manifestations of the patient were summarized and analyzed for GPi deficiency phenotype *** compound heterozygous variants of the GPi gene,c.174c>A(***58Lys)and c.1538G>T(***513Leu),were identified using whole-exome and Sanger *** AlphaFold program and c.imera software were used to analyze the effects of compound heterozygous variants on GPi ***:By characterizing 53 GPi missense/nonsense variants from previous literature and two novel missense variants identified in this study,we found that most variants were located in exons 3,4,12,and 18,with a few localized in exons 8,9,and *** study identified novel compound heterozygous variants associated with GPi *** pathogenic variants disrupt hydrogen bonds formed by highly conserved GPi amino ***:Early family-based sequencing analyses,especially for patients with congenital anemia,can help increase diagnostic accuracy for GPi deficiency,improve c.ild healthcare,and enable genetic counseling.
