OBJECTIVE: To identify current SLP practice patterns in concussion care, clarify definitions of common cognitive retraining terminology, and establish areas of growth in clinical practice and research. METHOD: An online 10 question survey to collect data on assessment and practice components. Total 79 respondents from ASHA Special Interest Group 2 Neurogenic Communication Disorders website participated. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. RESULTS: Patient education and symptom management were regular components of cognitive retraining with concussion. Smaller percentage included cognitive endurance building. Further analysis identified variation in how clinicians defined terms: patient education, symptom management, and cognitive endurance building. Discrepancies noted with diagnostic tools, with one quarter using screening tools as primary assessment. CONCLUSION: Strong knowledge base to support differential diagnosis and therapeutic plan is critical to optimize outcomes in concussion care. Consistency with terminology use can reduce the risk of confusion but also support the value of what SLPs contribute to an interdisciplinary concussion team.

参与式艾滋病知识培训在护理本科生中的应用

目的确定参与式艾滋病知识培训对改变护理本科生知识、态度、护理意愿的效果。方法采用随机对照实验设计。参与研究的 68名护生被随机分成 2组 ,每组 3 4人。实验组接受参与式艾滋病知识培训 ,对照组只接受艾滋病知识讲座。在培训前后采用问卷调查法对两组护生进行测量。结果实验组与对照组护生在培训后知识分数均显著提高。实验组培训后态度正分值有显著改善 (t =2 .9,P = 0 0 6) ,护理意愿也显著提高 (t =3 .7,P= 0 0 1) ,而对照组两者变化却不显著。培训后 ,除知识变量外 ,实验组的态度正分值明显高于对照组 (t=2 .2 ,P = 0 0 3 ) ,护理意愿也明显高于对照组 (t=2 .4 ,P = 0 2 )。结论参与式艾滋病培训效果明显优于传统的知识讲座。

Effects of local compositional and structural disorder on vacancy formation in entropy-stabilized oxides from first-principles

This paper presents a numerical simulation of stress wave propagation through filled joints using the particle flow code(PFC2D 3.10).A thin layer of granular material without tensile strength is used to model the natural filled *** Kelvin viscous-elastic contact model is developed with C++code and embedded as the dynamic link library in PFC2D 3.10 to simulate the particle deformation behavior of the filled *** has been proved that the PFC2D is competent in simulating the stress wave propagating through a filled joint according to the comparison between the forward fitting data and the experiment *** influence of amplitude and frequency on the transmission coefficient is analyzed,and the results show that the transmission coefficient is amplitude and frequency ***,the effect of the tensile stress wave,loading history and filled thickness on the transmission waves is also *** has been found that the transmission coefficient decreases with the increase of the filled *** tensile stress wave cannot propagate through the filled joint but can tear apart the filled layer,which weakens the multiple reflections in the filled *** the incident wave is composed of multiple pulses,the loading history has an important effect on the transmitted *** multiple parallel filled joints,the variation trend of the transmission coefficient versus the dimensionless joint spacing is similar to the analytical result obtained by Zhu et al.(2011)except that the loading mode and amplitudes have an important effect on the magnitude of the transmission ***,the deformation process of the filled layer under different loading modes was examined microscopically.

Entropic stabilization has evolved into a strategy to create new oxide materials and realize novel functional properties engineered through the alloy *** an atomistic understanding of these properties to enable their design,however,has been challenging due to the local compositional and structural disorder that underlies their fundamental structure-property ***,we combine high-throughput atomistic calculations and linear regression algorithms to investigate the role of local configurational and structural disorder on the thermodynamics of vacancy formation in (MgCoNiCuZn)O-based entropy-stabilized oxides (ESOs) and their influence on the electrical *** find that the cation-vacancy formation energies decrease with increasing local tensile strain caused by the deviation of the bond lengths in ESOs from the equilibrium bond length in the binary *** oxygen-vacancy formation strongly depends on structural distortions associated with the local configuration of chemical *** in ESOs exhibit deep thermodynamic transition levels that inhibit electrical *** applying the charge-neutrality condition,we determine that the equilibrium concentrations of both oxygen and cation vacancies increase with increasing Cu mole *** results demonstrate that tuning the local chemistry and associated structural distortions by varying alloy composition acts an engineering principle that enables controlled defect formation in multi-component alloys.

Objectives:To describe the professional quality of life and explore its associated factors among nurses coming from other areas of China to assist with the anti-epidemic fight inWuhan and especially examine whether the hospital ethical climate was independently associated with nurses’professional quality of ***:A cross-sectional online survey was conducted from March 2020 to April *** nurses working in Wuhan from the other parts of China were the target *** Professional Quality of Life Scale version 5,the Hospital Ethical Climate Survey,and a basic information sheet were used to collect *** statistics,t-test,ANOVA,Pearson correlation,and multiple linear regression analysis were used to analyze the ***:In total,236 nurses participated in this study,and 219 valid questionnaires were *** average age of the participants was 31.2±5.0 *** nurses were female(176/219;80.4%)and married(145/219;66.2%).In term of professional quality of life,nurses reported moderate(129/219;58.9%)to high(90/219;41.1%)levels of compassion satisfaction,low(119/219;54.3%)to moderate(100/219;45.7%)levels of burnout,and low(67/219;36.0%)to high(10/219;4.6%)levels of secondary traumatic *** hospital ethical climate,nurses reported moderately high hospital ethical climates with an average score of *** controlling for socio-demographic characteristics,the multiple linear regression models showed that the hospital ethical climate subscale of“relationship with physicians”was independently associated with the compassion satisfaction(b=0.533,P<0.01)and burnout(b=0.237,P<0.05);the hospital ethical climate subscale of“relationship with peers”(b=0.191,P<0.01)was independently associated with the secondary traumatic ***:During the early stage of the pandemic,nurses demonstrated moderate to high level of compassion satisfaction,low to moderate level of burnout,and all nurses experienced secondary traumatic stress.

目的了解护理本科生艾滋病知识、态度、护理意愿及其相关性。方法采用问卷方法对 6 8名护理本科学生(护生 )进行现况调查。结果护生的艾滋病知识均分为 (13.7± 3.1)分 ,对职业感染、不可能传播HIV的途径等知识回答正确率低。态度均分为 0 .89分 ,86 .8%的护生的态度分为正分 ,表示同情和支持艾滋病病人 ,但对因静脉吸毒、性乱、同性恋染上艾滋病者持歧视态度。护理意愿均分为 (77.7± 2 5 .3)分 ,有 2 5 .0 %的护生表示不愿意为艾滋病病人提供护理。相关分析表明艾滋病知识、态度、护理意愿之间呈显著正相关关系。结论护生艾滋病知识掌握不够全面 ,对艾滋病病人护理意愿低 ;需加强对护生艾滋病知识的培训 ,改善对病人的态度。
