Dear Editor,The advantages of robotic technology including improved dexterity and visualization are particularly evident in challenging reconstructive procedures of the lower urinary tract[1,2].A recent literature review confirmed the feasibility and efficacy of robot-assisted ureteral reimplantation in case of complex anatomy or prior surgery[3].Intra-corporeal ureteral tapering and dismembering are also feasible options using robot-assisted surgery[4].

Eucalyptus adult material requires more successive subcultures in the in vitro multiplication phase for increased vigor and cellular activity. This study evaluated the endophytic manifestation and shoot multiplication of one 13-year-old Eucalyptus benthamii clone under different culture conditions and used canopy branches(CB) and trunk base material as explant sources. The culture media were wood plant medium(WPM), Murashige and Skoog medium(MS) and JADS(Correia and co-authors medium).Based on the results of the initial multiplication experiment, further tests examined sucrose concentrations and p H. Morphophysiology, dry mass production, endophyticmanifestation and histochemical were determined. Explant sources responded differently to MS and JADS media, but the WPM medium promoted homogeneous *** responses were similar for both explant sources when sucrose concentrations varied. Shoots died in the absence of sucrose, showed high oxidation at 60 g L-1 and optimal development at 30 g L-1. Endophytes were more evident for shoots from the CB origin. Explant sources responded distinctively to treatment due to physiological and intrinsic genetic factors. Therefore, explant sources, different culture media, sucrose concentration and p H may determine micropropagation success and influence the presence and/or intensity of endophytic manifestation.

AIM To investigate the neoadjuvant chemotherapy(NAC) effect on the survival of patients with proper stomach cancer submitted to D2 *** We proceeded to a review of the literature with Pub Med, Embase, ASCO and ESMO meeting abstracts as well as computerized use of the Cochrane Library for randomized controlled trials(RCTs) comparing NAC followed by surgery(NAC + S) with surgery alone(SA) for gastric cancer(GC). The primary outcome was the overall survival rate. Secondary outcomes were the site of the primary tumor, extension of node dissection according to Japanese Gastric Cancer Association(JGCA) performed in both arms, disease-specific(DSS) and disease-free survival(DFS) rates, clinical and pathological response rates and resectability rates after perioperative treatment. RESULTS We identified a total of 16 randomized controlled trials comparing NAC + S(n = 1089) with SA(n = 973) published in the period from January 1993-March 2017. Only 6 of these studies were well-designed, structured trials in which the type of lymph node(LN) dissection performed or at least suggested in the trial protocol was reported. Two out of three of the RCTs with D2 lymphadenectomy performed in almost all cases failed to show survival benefit in the NAC arm. Inthe third RCT, the survival rate was not even reported, and the primary end points were the clinical outcomes of surgery with and without NAC. In the remaining three RCTs, D2 lymph node dissection was performed in less than 50% of cases or only recommended in the "Study Treatment" protocol without any description in the results of the procedure really perfomed. In one of the two studies, the benefit of NAC was evident only for esophagogastric junction(EGJ) cancers. In the second study, there was no overall survival benefit of NAC. Double digest restriction-site associated sequencing(ddRAD-seq)is a flexible and cost-effective strategy for providing in-depth insights into the genetic architecture of germplasm *** this methodology,we investigated the genomic diversity of a panel of 288 diverse tomato(Solanum lycopersicum L.)accessions enriched in‘da serbo’(called‘de penjar’in Spain)long shelf life(LSL)materials(152 accessions)mostly originating from Italy and *** rest of the materials originate from different countries and include landraces for fresh consumption,elite cultivars,heirlooms,and breeding *** from their LSL trait,‘da serbo’landraces are of remarkable interest for their *** identified 32,799 high-quality SNPs,which were used for model ancestry population structure and non-parametric hierarchical *** genetic subgroups were revealed,clearly separating most‘da serbo’landraces,but also the Spanish germplasm,suggesting a subdivision of the population based on type and geographical *** disequilibrium(LD)in the collection decayed very rapidly within<5 *** then investigated SNPs showing contrasted minor frequency allele(MAF)in‘da serbo’materials,resulting in the identification of high frequencies in this germplasm of several mutations in genes related to stress tolerance and fruit maturation such as CTR1 and ***,a mini-core collection of 58 accessions encompassing most of the diversity was selected for further exploitation of key *** findings suggest the presence of a genetic footprint of the‘da serbo’germplasm selected in the Mediterranean ***,we provide novel insights on LSL‘da serbo’germplasm as a promising source of alleles for tolerance to stresses.

Nanotechnology plays a key role in the development of innovative scaffolds for bone tissue engineering(BTE)allowing the incorporation of nanomaterials able to improve cell proliferation and *** this study,Mg-HA-Coll type I scaffolds(Mg-HA-based scaffolds)were nanofunctionalized with gold nanorods(Au NRs),palladium nanoparticles(Pd NPs)and maghemite nanoparticles(MAG NPs).Nanofunctionalized Mg-HA-based scaffolds(NF-HA-Ss)were tested for their ability to promote both the proliferation and the differentiation of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells(hADSCs).Results clearly highlight that MAG nanofunctionalization substantially improves cell proliferation up to 70% compared with the control(Mg-HA-based scaffold),whereas both Au NRs and Pd NPs nanofunctionalization induce a cell growth inhibition of 94% and 89%,*** evidences were found for the osteoinductive properties showing relevant calcium deposits(25% higher than the control)for MAG nanofunctionalization,while a decreasing of cell differentiation(20% lower than the control)for both Au NRs and Pd NPs *** results are in agreement with previous studies that found cytotoxic effects for both Pd NPs and Au *** excellent improvement of both osteoconductivity and osteoinductivity of the MAG NF-HA-S could be attributed to the high intrinsic magnetic field of superparamagnetic MAG *** findings may pave the way for the development of innovative nanostructured scaffolds for BTE.

Gastric diverticula are rare and uncommon *** gastric diverticula are *** symptoms arise,they are most commonly upper abdominal pain,nausea and emesis,while dyspepsia and vomiting are less ***,patients with gastric diverticula can have dramatic presentations related to massive bleeding or *** diagnosis may be difficult,as symptoms can be caused by more common gastrointestinal pathologies and only aggravated by *** appropriate management of diverticula depends mainly on the symptom pattern and as well as diverticulum *** is no specific therapeutic strategy for an asymptomatic *** some authors support conservative therapy with antacids,this provides only temporary symptom relief since it is not able to resolve the underlying *** resection is the mainstay of treatment when the diverticulum is large,symptomatic or complicated by bleeding,perforation or malignancy,with over two-thirds of patients remaining symptom-free after surgery,while laparoscopic resection,combined with intraoperative endoscopy,is a safe and feasible approach with excellent ***,we present two cases of uncommon large symptomatic gastric diverticula with a discussion of the cornerstones in management and report a minimally invasive solution,with a brief review of the literature.

The global economic crisis is affecting performances of not-for-profits. At the same time donors are targeted by a pressing good-cause related marketing, so that the competition for philanthropy is particularly keen. U.S. universities can be public, not-for-profit and for-profit. U.S. not-for-profit universities are confronted with different marketing, fundraising and revenue diversification. Above all, marketing concerns customers and their segmentation and their purchasing-power exploitation;fundraising aims to gain the trustworthiness of donors, instead. The aim of this paper is the analysis of the revenue diversification of a sample of 100 U.S. not-for-profit universities according to IRS (Internal Revenue Service) Forms. These 100 U.S. universities had the highest 2012’s revenues for the Guidestar ranking (***). The cluster analysis gives evidence that the highest gain and the highest solvency are both connected with the implementation of revenue diversification for one profile. The most crowded cluster is the Marketing Expert with the second highest gain.
