The lithium polysulfide shuttle and sluggish sulfur reaction kinetics still pose significant challenges to lithium-sulfur(Li-S)*** functional plane of Fe-MoSe_(2)@r GO nanohybrid with abundant defects has been designed and applied in Li-S batteries to develop the functional separator and multi-layer sulfur *** cell with a functional separator exhibits a retention capacity of 462 m Ah g^(-1)after the 1000th at 0.5 C and 516 m Ah g^(-1)after the 600th at 0.3 *** at low electrolyte conditions(7.0μL_(mgsulfur)^(-1)and 15μL_(mgsulfur)^(-1))under high sulfur loadings(3.46 mg cm^(-2)and 3.73 mg cm^(-2)),the cell still presents high reversible discharge capacities 679 and 762 m Ah g^(-1)after 70 cycles,***,at sulfur loadings up to 8.26 and 5.2 mg cm^(-2),the cells assembled with the bi-layers sulfur cathode and the tri-layers sulfur cathode give reversible capacities of 3.3 m Ah cm^(-2)after the 100th cycle and 3.0 m Ah cm^(-2)after the 120th cycle,*** research not only demonstrates that the FeMoSe_(2)@r GO functional plane is successfully designed and applied in Li-S batteries with superior electrochemical performances but also paves the novel way for developing a unique multi-layer cathode technique to enhance and advance the electrochemical behavior of Li-S cells at a high-sulfur-loading cathode under lean electrolyte/sulfur(e/S)ratio.

Clinical Predictors of Iron Deficiency Anemia in emirati Population with T2DM

Aim: To establish the prevalence of iron deficiency anemia and its clinical predictors in emirati patients with type 2 diabetes. Patients & Methods: 237 patients were included in the study. A full blood count was obtained in addition to routine blood and urine tests for all patients. Hemoglobin level and iron studies were done for diagnosis of anemia. Statistical analysis was done to find out the prevalence and independent predictors of anemia in the study population of emirati type 2 diabetic patients. Results: Of the studied 237 patients;36.3% had iron deficiency anemia as per the WHO criteria. Independent predictors of iron deficiency anemia were age ≥ 60 years, female gender and wide pulse pressure ≥ 60 mmHg. Hemoglobin level was directly proportionate to e GFR (p e ≥ 60 years had 4.2 times higher odds to exhibit anemia. Female participants had 1.95 times higher odds to exhibit anemia. Participants with wide pulse pressure ≥ 60 mmHg have 2.4 higher odds to exhibit anemia. Conclusion: Iron deficiency anemia is common in type 2 diabetic patients. Testing the patient for iron deficiency anemia should be considered in type 2 diabetes patients especially with age ≥ 60 years, female patients and those with wide pulse pressure ≥ 60 mmHg.

exploiting aml algorithm for multiple acoustic source 2D and 3D DOA estimations

The approximate maximum likelihood (aml) algorithm shows promises for joint estimations of acoustic source spectrum and direction-of-arrival (DOA). For the multisource case, the aml algorithm remains feasible as one considers an alternating projection procedure based on sequential iterative search on single source parameters. In order to perform multisource beamforming operations, earlier, we used a two-dimensional (2D) sensor array with 2D aml to obtain the DOA estimations for sources in the far field of the array. Now, the 3D aml algorithm enables a 3D sensor array to collect acoustic data for estimation of DOA represented in azimuth and elevation angles. In this paper, we consider two acoustic sources being simultaneously active and derive Crame′r-Rao bound (CRB) on DOA estimation given by a 3D array. Also, we compare the two-source DOA estimation results of 2D aml and 3D aml, respectively. To construct reasonable constraints on sensor topology, we adopt the concept of isotropic array and decouple the interplay between azimuth and elevation angle variations. The 3D aml algorithm exhibits superior spatial separation over its 2D counterpart for multiple sources located at different azimuth and elevation angles. Although the 3D aml algorithm requires more demanding computational complexity, we have developed a number of efficiency enhancements to reduce the loading for the grid search.

BACKGROUND Pancreatic cystic lesions(PCLs) are common in clinical practice. The accurate classification and diagnosis of these lesions are crucial to avoid unnecessary treatment of benign lesions and missed opportunities for early treatment of potentially malignant *** To evaluate the role of cyst fluid analysis of different tumor markers such as cancer antigens [e.g., cancer antigen(CA)19-9, CA72-4], carcinoembryonic antigen(CeA), serine protease inhibitor Kazal-type 1(SPINK1), interleukin 1 beta(IL1-β), vascular endothelial growth factor A(VeGF-A), and prostaglandin e2(PGe2)], amylase, and mucin stain in diagnosing pancreatic cysts and differentiating malignant from benign *** This study included 76 patients diagnosed with PCLs using different imaging modalities. All patients underwent endoscopic ultrasound(eUS) and eUS-fine needle aspiration(eUS-FNA) for characterization and sampling of different *** The mean age of studied patients was 47.4 ± 11.4 years, with a slight female predominance(59.2%). Mucin stain showed high statistical significance in predicting malignancy with a sensitivity of 87.1% and specificity of 95.56%. It also showed a positive predictive value and negative predictive value of 93.1% and 91.49%, respectively(P e found that positive mucin stain, cyst fluid glucose, SPINK1, amylase, and CeA levels had high statistical significance(P eGF-A, VeGFR2, and PGe2 did not show any statistical significance. Univariate regression analysis for prediction of malignancy in PCLs showed a statistically significant positive correlation with mural nodules, lymph nodes, cyst diameter, mucin stain, and cyst fluid CeA. Analysis, Implementation, and Application of Acoustic and Seismic Arrays

In this paper, we consider the analysis, implementation, and application of wideband sources using both seismic and acoustic sensors. We use the approximate maximum likelihood (aml) algorithm to perform acoustic direction of arrival (DOA). For non-uniform noise spectra, whitening filtering was applied to the received acoustic signals before the aml operation. For short-range seismic DOA applications, one method was based on eigen-decomposition of the covariance matrix and a second method was based on surface wave analysis. Two well-known optimization schemes were used to estimate the source locations from the estimated DOAs at sensors of known locations. experimental estimation of the DOAs and resulting localizations using the acoustic and seismic signals generated by striking a heavy metal plate by a hammer were reported.

肿瘤抑制因子P53是一种转录因子,可激活一系列靶基因的转录,从而调控细胞周期停滞、DNA修复、免疫、炎症和细胞凋亡等多种生理或病理过程。前期研究表明,CCHC型锌指蛋白10(zinc finger CCHC-type containing 10,ZCCHC10)通过激活P53在肺癌和急性髓系白血病中发挥抑癌作用。为进一步探讨ZCCHC10在急性髓系白血病中的作用机制,本文通过RNA测序(RNA sequencing,RNA-seq)技术对过表达ZCCHC10或空载体的ML2细胞进行了转录组分析,一共鉴定到1284个差异基因[|log2(fold change)|逸1,q值约0.05],包括778个上调基因和506个下调基因。其中,趋化因子CCL18在过表达ZCCHC10的ML2细胞中上调18倍。生物信息学分析显示,CCL18基因启动子上含有两个P53反应元件。生物素标记DNA亲和实验和染色质免疫共沉淀实验证实,P53可结合到CCL18基因启动子上。荧光素酶活性分析表明,P53可以增强CCL18基因启动子的活性。这些研究表明ZCCHC10通过激活P53促进CCL18基因的表达。

It has been well recognized that the development and use of artificial materials with high osteogenic ability is one of the most promising means to replace bone grafting that has exhibited various negative *** biomimetic features and unique physiochemical properties of nanomaterials play important roles in stimulating cellular functions and guiding tissue *** efficacy degree of some nanomaterials to promote specific tissue formation is still not *** hereby comparatively studied the osteogenic ability of our treated multiwalled carbon nanotubes(MCNTs)and the main inorganic mineral component of natural bone,nano-hydroxyapatite(nHA)in the same system,and tried to tell the related *** vitro culture of human adiposederived mesenchymal stem cells(HASCs)on the MCNTs and nHA demonstrated that although there was no significant difference in the cell adhesion amount between on the MCNTs and nHA,the cell attachment strength and proliferation on the MCNTs were *** importantly,the MCNTs could induce osteogenic differentiation of the HASCs better than the nHA,the possible mechanism of which was found to be that the MCNTs could activate Notch involved signaling pathways by concentrating more proteins,including specific bone-inducing ***,the MCNTs could induce ectopic bone formation in vivo while the nHA could not,which might be because MCNTs could stimulate inducible cells in tissues to form inductive bone better than nHA by concentrating more proteins including specific bone-inducing ones secreted from M2 ***,MCNTs might be more effective materials for accelerating bone formation even than nHA.

CD4^(+)CD25^(+)foxp3^(+)调节性T细胞通过NKG2D增强急性髓性白血病中NK细胞毒性

目的CD4^(+)CD25^(+)foxp3^(+)调节性T细胞在急性髓性白血病中调控NKG2D介导NK细胞毒性的研究。方法免疫磁珠法分离急性髓性白血病(aml)和健康对照外周血NK细胞和CD4^(+)CD25^(+)细胞,分析foxp3与NKG2D表达,CD4^(+)CD25^(+)foxp3^(+)细胞的比例与NK细胞的细胞毒作用相关性。Spearman法分析CD4^(+)CD25^(+)foxp3^(+)细胞比例与NK细胞的细胞毒性和NGK2D相关性。foxp3过表达处理aml外周血淋巴细胞后,流式细胞术检测NKG2D,IFN-γ和CD107a表达,LDH法检测NK细胞毒性。GePIA2数据库分析aml患者NKG2D和foxp3基因表达相关性,TCGA数据库分析aml转录组数据中与NKG2D表达高相关性基因。IL-2(10μg/mL),IL-15(10μg/mL)处理NK细胞24 h后,流式细胞术检测NKG2D和CD107a表达,酶联免疫反应法检测NK细胞分泌的IFN-γ,LDH法检测NK细胞毒性。采用t检验等方法统计分析组间差异及变量相关性。结果与对照比较,aml组NK细胞中NKG2D表达(平均荧光强度MFI:942.25±117.17比3245.28±367.43)降低(Paml患者外周血NK细胞活力也与CD4^(+)CD25^(+)foxp3^(+)细胞的比例呈正相关(r=0.655,P=0.006)。与Oe-NC比较,Oe-foxp3组细胞中NKG2D的表达水平(MFI:2115.37±269.53比914.28±103.36)、杀伤能力(58.24%±3.17%比24.18%±2.35%)、NK细胞毒性评估指标CD107a(45.43%±1.28%比18.24%±1.49%)和IFN-γ水平(24.16%±1.17%比16.28%±0.95%)升高(P均e、IL-10、IL-17、IL-7R、IL-15、eZH2等基因相关性较高,流式细胞术检测发现,与对照比较,IL-2和IL-15处理后NK细胞的表面受体NKG2D和CD107a表达、IFN-γ水平、NK细胞毒性均升高。结论aml外周血中,NK细胞表面受体NKG2D低于正常对照,其中CD4^(+)CD25^(+)foxp3^(+)调节性T细胞通过IL-2和IL-15影响NKG2D表达进而调控NK细胞毒性。

目的　了解FLAG方案 (Fludarabine、Cytarabine、G CSF)诱导治疗高危骨髓异常增生综合征 (MDS)和急性髓细胞性白血病 (aml)的疗效及其耐受性。方法　对 4 3例高危MDS和aml进行FLAG诱导治疗 ,观察疗效及其不良反应。结果　 4 3例患者中获得完全缓解 (CR) 2 2例 (5 1% ) ,部分缓解 (PR) 9例 (2 1% ) ,有效率达 72 %。 1个疗程CR率为 6 8%。其中年龄 0 5× 10 9/L的中位时间为 17(13～ 39)d ,血小板数恢复至 >2 0× 10 9/L的中位时间为 2 0(12～ 4 1)d。因粒缺发热的中位时间是 5 (0～ 31)d。红细胞输注支持的中位数为 7(0～ 70 )U ,血小板输注支持的中位数为 12 (3～ 2 6 )U。非血液系统不良反应非常轻。结论　FLAG方案作为高危MDS/aml的诱导治疗 ,是可耐受的。
