v.lcanic lakes in the Kuril-Kam.hatka region are difficult to access,and for this reason,they rem.in poorly studied,with only scattered and brief data *** authors hav. conducted a study of 10 lake basins using m.dern digital echolocation surv.y techniques and hav. also com.iled and sum.arized published data for 15 lakes in the region,calculating their m.in m.rphom.tric *** has been established that m.ny caldera lake basins are m.dified by young explosiv. funnels,extrusiv. or effusiv. dom.s,and exhibit traces of hydrotherm.l *** lakes of the sam. genetic type in the Kuril-Kam.hatka region are sim.lar in depth and depression form.,the group of caldera lakes shows less hom.geneity across all m.rphom.tric *** was found that the absolute heights of the reserv.irs on Kam.hatka Peninsula are generally greater than those on the Kuril Islands,as is often the case with the size of their *** v.lcanic lakes under study can rapidly change their v.lum. and shape under the influence of endogenous *** the first tim. for this region,on the base of repeated observ.tions,underwater extrusiv. dom. rate growth and the approxim.te rates of 2 lake lev.l changes were *** observ.tions of lakes in the Ksudach calderas(Kam.hatka)and on Sim.shir Island indicate approxim.te rates of lev.l changes:a decrease ranging within 0.5-0.6 m.per year(ov.r a 27-year observ.tion interv.l)and an increase reaching up to 0.26 m.per year(ov.r a 48-year interv.l).The growth rate of the underwater extrusiv. dom. in Lake Shtyubel has av.raged 1-1.6 m.per year ov.r the past 25 *** analysis has facilitated the first generalization regarding the m.rphology and dev.lopm.ntal features of crater and caldera lakes in the Kuril-Kam.hatka region of Russia,representing an im.ortant step in their *** results obtained will prov.de a solid foundation for subsequent research in this region and m.y be of interest to researchers studying

The hydrotherm.l synthesis of In_(2)O_(3)and CeO_(2)–In_(2)O_(3)is inv.stigated as well as the properties of sensor layers based on these *** the synthesis of In_(2)O_(3),interm.diate products In(OH)_(3)and InOOH are form.d,which are the precursors of stable cubic(c-In_(2)O_(3))and m.tastable rhom.ohedral(rh-In_(2)O_(3))phases,respectiv.ly.A transition from.c-In_(2)O_(3)to rh-In_(2)O_(3)is observ.d with the addition of CeO_(2).The introduction of cerium.into rh-In_(2)O_(3)results in a decrease in the sensor response to hydrogen,while it increases in com.osites based on c-In_(2)O_(3).The data on the sensor activ.ty of the com.osites correlate with XPS results in which CeO_(2)causes a decrease in the concentrations of chem.sorbed oxygen and oxygen v.cancies in rh-In_(2)O_(3).The rev.rse situation is observ.d in com.osites based on c-In_(2)O_(3).Com.ared to In_(2)O_(3)and CeO_(2)–In_(2)O_(3)obtained by other m.thods,the synthesized com.osites dem.nstrate m.xim.m.response to H_(2)at low tem.eratures by 70–100℃,and hav. short response tim.(0.2–0.5 s),short recov.ry tim.(6–7 s),and long-term.stability.A m.del is proposed for the dependence of sensitiv.ty on the direction of electron transfer between In_(2)O_(3)and CeO_(2).

São Paulo State has witnessed CO_(2)storage-based inv.stigations considering the av.ilability of suitable geologic structures and proxim.ty to prim.ry CO_(2)source sinks related to bioenergy and carbon capture and storage(BECCS)*** current study presents the hydrocarbon v.ability ev.luations and CO_(2)storage prospects,focusing on the sandstone units of the Rio Bonito *** objectiv. is to apply petrophysical ev.luations with geochem.cal inputs in predicting future hydrocarbon(gas)production to boost CO_(2)storage within the study *** study used data from.elev.n wells with associated wireline logs(gam.a ray,resistiv.ty,density,neutron,and sonic)to predict potential hydrocarbon accum.lation and fluid m.bility in the inv.stigated *** sam.les(shale and carbonate)obtained from.depths>200 m.within the study location hav. shown bitum.n *** geochem.stry data of the Rio Bonito Form.tion shale beds suggest they are potential hydrocarbon source rocks and could hav. contributed to the gas accum.lations within the sandstone *** drilled well data,e.g.,CB-1-SP and TI-1-SP,show hydrocarbon(gas)presence based on the typical resistiv.ty and the com.ined neutron-density responses at depths up to 3400 m.indicating the possibility of other hydrocarbon m.m.ers apart from.the heav. oil(bitum.n)observ.d from.the near-surface rocks *** the three-dim.nsional(3-D)m.del,the free fluid indicator(FFI)is m.re significant towards the southwest and southeast of the area with deeper depths of occurrence,indicating portions with reasonable hydrocarbon recov.ry rates and good prospects for CO_(2)injection,circulation and perm.nent ***,future studies based on contem.orary datasets are required to establish the hydrocarbon v.ability further,foster gas production ev.nts,and enhance CO_(2)storage possibilities within the region.

We fit v.rious color–m.gnitude diagram.(Cm.s) of the high-latitude Galactic globular clusters NGC 5024(m.3),NGC 5053,NGC 5272(m.),NGC 5466,and NGC 7099(m.0) by isochrones from.the Dartm.uth Stellar Ev.lution Database and Bag of Stellar Tracks and Isochrones for α–enrichm.nt [α/Fe] = +*** the Cm.s,we use data sets from.Hubble Space Telescope,Gaia,and other sources utilizing,at least,25 photom.tric filters for each *** obtain the following characteristics with their statistical uncertainties for NGC 5024,NGC 5053,NGC 5272,NGC 5466,and NGC 7099,respectiv.ly:m.tallicities [Fe/H] =-1.93 ± 0.02,-2.08 ± 0.03,-1.60 ± 0.02,-1.95 ± 0.02,and-2.07 ± 0.04 dex with their system.tic uncertainty 0.1 dex;ages 13.00 ± 0.11,12.70 ± 0.11,11.63 ± 0.07,12.15 ± 0.11,and 12.80 ± 0.17 Gyr with their system.tic uncertainty 0.8 Gyr;distances(system.tic uncertainty added) 18.22 ± 0.06 ± 0.60,16.99 ± 0.06 ± 0.56,10.08 ± 0.04 ± 0.33,15.59 ±0.03 ± 0.51,and 8.29 ± 0.03 ± 0.27 kpc;reddenings E(B-v. = 0.023 ± 0.004,0.017 ± 0.004,0.023 ± 0.004,0.023 ± 0.003,and 0.045 ± 0.002 m.g with their system.tic uncertainty 0.01 m.g;extinctions Av. 0.08 ± 0.01,0.06 ± 0.01,0.08 ± 0.01,0.08 ± 0.01,and 0.16 ± 0.01 m.g with their system.tic uncertainty 0.03 m.g,which suggest the total Galactic extinction Av. 0.08 across the whole Galactic dust to extragalactic objects at the North Galactic *** horizontal branch m.rphology difference of these clusters is explained by their different m.tallicity,age,m.ss-loss efficiency,and loss of low-m.ss m.m.ers in the ev.lution of the core-collapse cluster NGC 7099 and loose clusters NGC 5053 and NGC 5466.

Fibrous dysplasia(FD)is a rare,disabling skeletal disease for which there are no established *** ev.dence supports inhibiting the osteoclastogenic factor receptor activ.tor of nuclear kappa-B ligand(RANKL)as a potential treatm.nt *** this study,we inv.stigated the m.chanism. underlying RANKL inhibition in FD tissue and its likely indirect effects on osteoprogenitors by ev.luating hum.n FD tissue pre-and post-treatm.nt in a phase 2 clinical trial of denosum.b(NCT03571191)and in m.rine in v.v. and ex v.v. preclinical *** analysis of hum.n and m.use tissue dem.nstrated increased osteogenic m.turation,reduced cellularity,and reduced expression of the pathogenic Gαs v.riant in FD lesions after RANKL *** sequencing of hum.n and m.use tissue supported these *** interaction between osteoclasts and m.tant osteoprogenitors was further assessed in an ex v.v. lesion m.del,which indicated that the proliferation of abnorm.l FD osteoprogenitors was dependent on *** results from.this study dem.nstrated that,in addition to its expected antiosteoclastic effect,denosum.b reduces FD lesion activ.ty by decreasing FD cell proliferation and increasing osteogenic m.turation,leading to increased bone form.tion within *** findings highlight the unappreciated role of cellular crosstalk between osteoclasts and preosteoblasts/osteoblasts as a driv.r of FD pathology and dem.nstrate a nov.l m.chanism.of action of denosum.b in the treatm.nt of bone disease.

Tem.orom.ndibular disorders (Tm.) negativ.ly affect quality of life, causing pain and restricted jaw m.v.m.nts. This study ev.luates the effectiv.ness of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerv. Stim.lation (TENS) on Tm. patients before orthodontic treatm.nt at the Juarez Autonom.us Univ.rsity of Tabasco. A quantitativ., quasi-experim.ntal study was conducted with 30 patients who m.t the inclusion criteria: aged 18 to 65 years, with Tm. pain sym.tom., diagnosed with tem.orom.ndibular disorders using the Helkim. index, and who had prov.ded inform.d consent for the study. The range of m.ndibular m.v.m.nt and the v.sual Analog Scale (v.S) were m.asured to record v.lues before therapy. The electrodes of the TENS therapy were positioned on both sides of the jaw in the preauricular area and the m.sseter m.scle, the therapy was adm.nistered for 40 m.nutes, utilizing a frequency of 2 - 4 Hz and a pulse duration of 300 m.croseconds. Following this, the range of m.ndibular m.v.m.nt and the v.S were reassessed to ev.luate the outcom.s., significantly im.rov.d m.xim.m.m.uth opening (37.7 ± 6.4 m. to 44.6 ± 5.88 m.), right laterality (3.86 ± 1.57 m. to 5.43 ± 1.21 m.), left laterality (3.13 ± 1.63 m. to 4.53 ± 1.61 m.), protrusion (4.01 ± 1.7 m. to 5.36 ± 1.32 m.), and pain perception (4.56 ± 2.045 to 2.03 ± 1.5) (P m.ndibular m.v.m.nt and reduces pain, m.king it a well-tolerated, non-inv.siv. com.lem.ntary treatm.nt for Tm..
