Objective:To determine the morphological and molecular characterization of Acanthamoeba isolates from contact lens paraphernalia in malaysia and to investigate their pathogenic potential based on the physiological ***:One hundred and eighty contact lens wearers donated their contact lens,lens storage cases and lens solutions between2018 and *** samples were inoculated onto 1.5%nonnutrient agar plates for 14 *** chain reaction(PCR)was performed and the amplified PCR products were sequenced and compared with the published sequences in *** pathogenic potential of positive isolates was further tested using temperature-tolerance and osmo-tolerance *** species were categorized into three distinct morphological groups established by Pussard and ***:Acanthamoeba was successfully isolated from 14(7.8%)culture-positive samples in which 11 belong to morphological groupⅡand 3 belong to morphological groupⅢ,*** sequencing of 18 S ribosomal RNA gene led to the identification of the T4 genotype in all the isolated *** vitro assays revealed that 9(64.3%)Acanthamoeba isolates were able to grow at 42℃and 1 m mannitol and were thus considered to be highly ***:To the best of our knowledge,this is the first report identifying the Acanthamoeba genotype and their pathogenic potential among contact lens wearers in *** potentially pathogenic T4 genotype isolated in this study is the most predominant genotype responsible for human ocular infection ***,increasing attention should be a.m.d at the prevention of contamination by Acanthamoeba and the disinfection of contact lens paraphernalia.

a.m.To define good and poor regression using pathology and magnetic resonance imaging(mRI) regression scales after neo-adjuvant chemotherapy for rectal *** A systematic review was performed on all studies up to December 2015, without language restriction, t h a t w e r e i d e n t i f i e d f r o m m E D L I N E, C o c h r a n e Controlled Trials Register(1960-2015), and EmBASE(1991-2015). Searches were performed of article bibliographies and conference abstracts. meS H and text words used included "tumour regression", "mr TRG", "poor response" and "colorectal cancers". Clinical studies using either mRI or histopathological tumour regression grade(TRG) scales to define good and poor responders were included in relation to outcomes [local recurrence(LR), distant recurrence(DR), disease-free survival(DFS), and overall survival(OS)]. There was no age restriction or stage of cancer restriction for patient inclusion. Data were extracted by two authors working independently and using pre-defined outcome *** Quantitative data(prevalence) were extracted and analysed according to meta-analytical techniques using comprehensive meta-analysis. Qualitative data(LR, DR, DFS and OS) were presented as ranges. The overall proportion of poor responders after neo-adjuvant chemoradiotherapy(CRT) was 37.7%(95%CI: 30.1-45.8). There were 19 different reported histopathological scales and one mRI regression scale(mrT RG). Clinical studies used nine and six histopathological scales for poor and good responders, respectively. All studies using mRI to define good and poor response used one scale. The most common histopathological definition for good response was the mandard grades 1 and 2 or Dworak grades 3 and 4; mandard 3, 4 and 5 and Dworak 0, 1 and 2 were used for poor response. For histopathological grades, the 5-year outcomes for poor responders were LR 3.4%-4.3%, DR 14.3%-20.3%, DFS 61.7%-68.1% and OS 60.7-69.1. Good pathological response 5-year outcomes were LR

Gastrointestinal(GI) diseases comprise a large spectrum of clinical conditions ranging from indigestion to infla.m.tory bowel diseases(IBDs) and carcinomas. Endoscopy is the usual method employed to diagnose these condition. Another noninvasive way to assess and diagnose GI conditions are fecal biomarkers. Fecal biomarkers provide information regarding a specific disease process and are perhaps more acceptable to clinicians and patients alike because of their non-invasivity compared to endoscopy. a.m.of this review was to evaluate the current status of the fecal biomarkers in clinical and research for in GI diseases. multiple types of fecal biomarkers are discussed in this review including; markers to assess IBD, which are released as a results of an infla.m.tory insults to intestinal epithelia such as antimicrobial peptides(lactoferrin) or infla.m.tion related proteins(calprotectin). While markers related to function of digestion are primarily related to partially digested food or mucosal proteins such as abnormal amount of fecal fat α1-antitrypsin, elastase and secretary IgA. The upcoming fecal biomarker like m2 pyruvate kinase and neutrophil gelatinase associated lipocalin are discussed as well. Apart from above mention, the fecal biomarkers under exploration for possible clinical use in future are also discussed. These include cathelicidins, osteoprotegerin, β-glucuronidase, Eosinophil proteins, etc.

We have studied the genotoxic and apoptotic potential of ferric oxide nanoparticles（Fe_2O_3-NPs） in Raphanus sativus（radish）.Fe_2O_3-NPs retarded the root length and seed germination in *** sections of treated roots showed subcellular localization of Fe_2O_3-NPs,along with the appearance of damaged mitochondria and excessive *** cytometric analysis of Fe_2O_3-NPs（1.0 mg/m L） treated groups exhibited 219.5%,161%,120.4% and 161.4% increase in intracellular reactive oxygen species（ROS）,mitochondrial membrane potential（ΔΨm）,nitric oxide（NO） and Ca2＋influx in radish protoplasts.A concentration dependent increase in the antioxidative enzymes glutathione（GSH）,catalase（CAT）,superoxide dismutase（SOD） and lipid peroxidation（LPO） has been *** assay showed a concentration dependent increase in deoxyribonucleic acid（DNA） strand breaks in Fe_2O_3-NPs treated *** cycle analysis revealed 88.4% of cells in sub-G1 apoptotic phase,suggesting cell death in Fe_2O_3-NPs（2.0 mg/m L） treated *** together,the genotoxicity induced by Fe_2O_3-NPs highlights the importance of environmental risk associated with improper disposal of nanoparticles（NPs） and radish can serve as a good indicator for measuring the phytotoxicity of NPs grown in NP-polluted environment.

a.m.Breast cancer is typically detected either during a screening examination or after a woman notices a *** cancers have different phenotypes depending on the presence/absence of an estrogen receptor(ER)and/or an epidermal growth factor(Her-2)*** objective of the present investigation was to investigate growth inhibitory activity of methanol-,ethanol-,and water-extracts from papaya fruit and leaves on mDa.m.-231(ER-/Her-2-),mCF-7(ER+/Her-2-),SK-BR-3(ER-/Her-2+)and mDa.m.-361,AU565(ER+/Her-2+)breast cancer ***:The anti-oxidation potential of papaya extracts was determined by assessing their total polyphenol content,total flavonoid content and by assaying their anti-oxidation *** effects on breast cancer cells proliferation were determined using a WST-1 ***:The seeds and leaves contained higher anti-oxidation potential than that of the skin and pulp *** data indicate that methanol-and ethanol-extracts of papaya leaves,skin,pulp,and seeds have no effect on any of the breast cancer cell lines,whereas water-extract of leaves and seeds caused low to modest cytotoxic effects only on ER-negative breast cancer cell ***:Our data suggest that bioactive compound in papaya leaves can be potentially used to develop anti-cancer agents for ER-negative breast cancer.

In this paper, He’s variational iteration method is successfully employed to solve a nonlinear boundary value problem arising in the study of thin film flow of a third grade fluid down an inclined plane. For comparison, the same problem is solved by the Adomian decomposition method. The results show that the difference between the two solutions is negligible. The conclusion is that this technique may be considered an alternative and efficient method for finding approximate solutions of both linear and nonlinear boundary value problems. Furthermore, the variational iteration method has an advantage over the decomposition method in that it solves the nonlinear problems without using the Adomian polynomials.

Recently,outstanding identification rates in image classification tasks were achieved by convolutional neural networks(CNNs).to use such skills,selective CNNs trained on a dataset of well-known images of metal surface defects captured with an RGB *** must be detected early to take timely corrective action due to production *** image classification up till now,a.m.del-based method has been utilized,which indicated the predicted reflection characteristics of surface defects in comparison to flaw-free *** problem of detecting steel surface defects has grown in importance as a result of the vast range of steel applications in end-product sectors such as automobiles,households,construction,*** processes for detections are time-consuming,labor-intensive,and *** strategies have been used to automate manual processes,but CNN models have proven to be the most effective rather than image processing andmachine learning *** using differentCNNmodels with fine-tuning,easily compare their performance and select the best-performing model for the same kinds of ***,it is important that using different CNN models either from fine tuning can be computationally expensive and ***,our study helps the upcoming researchers to choose the CNN without considering the issues of model complexity,performance,and computational *** this article,the performance of various CNN models like Visual Geometry Group,VGG16,VGG19,ResNet152,ResNet152V2,Xception,InceptionV3,InceptionResNetV2,NASNetLarge,mobileNetV2,and DenseNet201 with transfer learning techniques are *** models were chosen based on their popularity and impact in the field of computer vision research,as well as their performance on benchmark *** to the outcomes,DenseNet201 outperformed the other CNN models and had the greatest detection rate on the NEU dataset,falling in at 98.37 percent.
