摘      要:The hydration phase of Sorel cement slurry compounded at different halogenide ratios was determined by a quantitative XRD method, the pore distribution in Sorel cement was measured by mercury-squashed machine. The results show that the strength of the product increases and the porosity decreases as the amount of 5.1.8 phase increases. The structure of slurry blended at ratios of 5.1.8 and 3.1.8 shows that the porosity reduces,crystal size grows and most probability radius of pores decreases as the reaction age prolongs. The growth of 5.1.8 and 3.1.8 phases is favourable for compactness of the mortar and the porosity is in close relationship with the strength.
