表征多元混合物各组分浓度效应曲线(CRC)形态差异的参数σ_((k·ECX))2可以预测多元混合物的联合毒性，进一步探索σ_((k·ECX))2与多元混合物联合作用强度和方式的关系。选取11种环境污染物，按照物质CRC的参数k·ECx的数值分为D组(相异体系)和S组(相似体系),设计18组多元混合物，借助独立作用模型(IA)和效应残差比(ERRx)模型评价混合物的联合作用。结果表明：D组混合体系易发生联合作用方式的转变；S组混合体系联合作用方式保持不变。D组中_((k·ECX))2较大的混合物不易发生联合作用方式的转变。D组混合物整体联合作用强度大于S组，各混合体系内联合作用强度与_((k·ECX))2正相关。该研究揭示了参数σ_((k·ECX))2与多元混合物联合作用的关系，实现了从几何角度对多元混合物联合作用的预判，为环境风险评价提供一定的理论支持。

Advances on bidirectional intelligence are overviewed along three threads,with extensions and new perspectives.The first thread is about bidirectional learning architecture,exploring five dualities that enable Lmser six cognitive functions and provide new perspectives on which a lot of extensions and particularlly flexible Lmser are proposed.Interestingly,either or two of these dualities actually takes an important role in recent models such as U-net,ResNet,and Dense Net.The second thread is about bidirectional learning principles unified by best yIng-yAng(IA)harmony in BYY system.After getting insights on deep bidirectional learning from a bird-viewing on existing typical learning principles from one or both of the inward and outward directions,maximum likelihood,varIAtional principle,and several other learning principles are summarised as exemplars of the BYY learning,with new perspectives on advanced topics.The third thread further proceeds to deep bidirectional intelligence,driven by long term dynamics(LTD)for parameter learning and short term dynamics(STD)for image thinking and rational thinking in harmony.Image thinking deals with information flow of continuously valued arrays and especIAlly image sequence,as if thinking was displayed in the real world,exemplified by the flow from inward encoding/cognition to outward reconstruction/transformation performed in Lmser learning and BYY learning.In contrast,rational thinking handles symbolic strings or discretely valued vectors,performing uncertainty reasoning and problem solving.In particular,a general thesis is proposed for bidirectional intelligence,featured by BYY intelligence potentIAl theory(BYY-IPT)and nine essentIAl dualities in architecture,fundamentals,and implementation,respectively.Then,problems of combinatorIAl solving and uncertainty reasoning are investigated from this BYY IPT perspective.First,varIAnts and extensions are suggested for AlphaGoZero like searching tasks,such as traveling salesman problem(TSP)and attributed graph matching(AGM)that ar

I use recent observational and theoretical studies of type IA supernovae(SNe IA) to further constrain the vIAble SN IA scenarios and to argue that there must be a substantIAl time delay between the end of the merger of the white dwarf(WD) with a companion or the end of mass accretion on to the WD and its terminal explosion. This merger/accretion to explosion delay(MED) is required to allow the binary system to lead to a more or less spherical explosion and to prevent a pre-explosion ionizing radIAtion. Considering these recent results and the required MED, I conclude that the core degenerate scenario is somewhat more favorable over the other scenarios, followed by the double degenerate scenario. Although the single degenerate scenario is vIAble as well, it is less likely to account for common(normal) SN IA. As all scenarios require substantIAl MED, the MED has turned from a disadvantage of the core degenerate scenario to a challenge that theory should overcome. I hope that the requirement for a MED will stimulate the discussion of the different SN IA scenarios and the comparison of the scenarios to each other.

Direct effects of intermedIAte metabolites of 37 different xenobiotics on the catalytic activities of both reconstituted cytochrome P-450IIB1 and P-450IA1 enzyme systems were studied by determination of NADPH oxidation at various intervals after initIAtion of the reaction. The results showed that cytochrome P-450IIB1 isozyme was much more likely than cytochrome P-450IA1 isozyme to be attacked by the reactive intermedIAtes formed by some xenobiotics with smaller molecular weight and lose its catalytic activities. These xenobiotics were carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, carbon disulfide, benzene, parathion, methylparathion, methyldursban and dimethylnitrosamine. In contrast, however, steadily increasing metabolic activities were observed towards benzo(a)pyrene, 3-methyl-cholanthrene and polychlorinated biphenyls in reconstituted cytochrome P-450IA1 enzyme system as the reaction time prolonged within 4 min. The method discussed in this paper could be used as a simple and convenient way to observe directly the autocatalytic destruction of P-450 enzymes by some chemical agents.

Effects of a Time-Varying Color-Luminosity Parameter β on the Cosmological Constraints of Modified Gravity Models

It has been found that, for the Supernova Legacy Survey three-year(SNLS3) data, there is strong evidence for the redshift-evolution of color-luminosity parameter β. In previous studies, only dark energy(DE) models are used to explore the effects of a time-varying β on parameter estimation. In this paper, we extend the discussions to the case of modified gravity(MG), by considering Dvali–Gabadadze–Porrati(DGP) model, power-law type f(T) model and exponentIAl type f(T) model. In addition to the SNLS3 data, we also use the latest Planck distance priors data,the galaxy clustering(GC) data extracted from Sloan Digital Sky Survey(SDSS) data release 7(DR7) and Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey(BOSS), as well as the direct measurement of Hubble constant H0 from the Hubble Space Telescope(HST) observation. We find that, for both cases of using the supernova(SN) data alone and using the combination of all data, adding a parameter of β can reduce χ2by ～ 36 for all the MG models, showing that a constantβ is ruled out at 6σ confidence level(CL). Moreover, we find that a time-varying β always yields a larger fractional matter density Ωm0and a smaller reduced Hubble constant h; in addition, it significantly changes the shapes of 1σ and2σ confidence regions of various MG models, and thus corrects systematic bIAs for the parameter estimation. These conclusions are consistent with the results of DE models, showing that β's evolution is completely independent of the cosmological models in the background. Therefore, our work highlights the importance of considering the evolution of βin the cosmology-fits.

The hydration phase of Sorel cement slurry compounded at different halogenide ratios was determined by a quantitative XRD method, the pore distribution in Sorel cement was measured by mercury-squashed machine. The results show that the strength of the product increases and the porosity decreases as the amount of 5.1.8 phase increases. The structure of slurry blended at ratios of 5.1.8 and 3.1.8 shows that the porosity reduces,crystal size grows and most probability radius of pores decreases as the reaction age prolongs. The growth of 5.1.8 and 3.1.8 phases is favourable for compactness of the mortar and the porosity is in close relationship with the strength.

The wide use of quaternary ammonium cationic surfactants(QACs)results in their release into the environment.Most surfactants have significant biotoxicity.However,existing toxicity data on QACs are still lacking,especIAlly regarding the joint toxic effects of their mixtures.In computer simulation technology,molecular docking technology is commonly used for studying the mode of action of receptors docking with ligands.The research of QACs mixture interaction is relatively rare,and the binding mode of QACs is unknown.In this study,molecular docking technology was applied to explore the QAC binding mode,and the concentration addition(CA)and independent action(IA)models were applied for predicting the mixture toxicity.Firefly luciferase(FLuc)was used as a macromolecular receptor,and five typical QACs:benzalkonium bromide(BLB),tetraethylammonium bromide(TLB),N,N,N-trimethyl-1-tetradecyl ammonium bromide(CTE),tetrabutylammonium chloride(TAC),and dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride(DTC)were used as small molecule ligands.Molecular docking technology was used to investigate the binding mode of macromolecules and small molecules.The luminescence inhibitory effects of individual compounds and binary mixture on FLuc were determined by microplate toxicity assay of luciferase.The prediction of mixture toxicity was performed by CA and IA.The results showed that the relative toxicity follows:TLBIA model did not effectively predict the toxicity of mixtures with compound with different binding modes.The mixture toxicities of QACs with the same binding mode mostly presented additive and synergistic effects,while the mixture toxic effects of QACs with different binding modes presented additive or antagonistic effects.

Sanchez and Lacombe have developed a lattice fluid theory based on a well-defined statistical mechanical model.Taking the lattice fluid as a candidate of dark energy,we investigate the cosmic evolution of this fluid.Using the combined observational data of Type IA Supernova(SNe IA) Union2.1,Baryon Acoustic Oscillations(BAO) data from 6dFGS,SDSS and WiggleZ survey,and Observational Hubble Data(OHD),we find the best fit value of the parameters:A = 0.3 ± 0.2(1σ) ± 0.4(2σ) ± 0.8(3σ) and Ω m = 0.31 ± 0.02(1σ) ± 0.05(2σ) ± 0.07(3σ).The cosmological implications of the model are presented.
