The L1_(2)-strengthened Co_(34)Cr_(32)Ni_(27)Al_(4)Ti_(3)medium-entropy alloy(MEA)with precipitations of grain boundaries has been developed through selective laser melting(SLM)followed by cold rolling and annealing,exhibiting excellent strength-ductility *** as-printed alloy exhibits low yield strength(YS)of~384 MPa,ultimate tensile strength(UTS)of~453 MPa,and uniform elongation(UE)of 1.5%due to the existence of the SLM-induced *** cold rolling and annealing,the YS,UTS,and UE are significantly increased to~739 MPa,~1230 MPa,and~47%,*** enhancement primarily originates from the refined grain structure induced by cold rolling and *** presence of coherent sphericalγ'precipitates(L1_(2)phases)and Al/Ti-rich precipitates at the grain boundaries,coupled with increased lattice defects such as dislocations,stacking faults,and ultrafine deformation twins,further contribute to the property’s *** study highlights the potential of SLM in producing high-strength and ductile MEA with coherent L1_(2)nanoprecipitates,which can be further optimized through subsequent rolling and annealing *** findings offer valuable insights for the development of high-performance alloys for future engineering applications.

Recent advances in hydrocarbon exploration have been made in the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex reservoirs of the Dengying Formation in the western Sichuan Basin, SW china,where the depositional process is regarded confusing. The microfacies, construction types, and depositional model of the Member Deng-2 marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been investigated using unmanned aerial vehicle photography, outcrop section investigation, thin section identification,and seismic reflections in the southwestern Sichuan Basin. The microbialite lithologic textures in this region include thrombolite, dendrolite, stromatolite, fenestral stromatolite, spongiostromata stone,oncolite, aggregated grainstone, and botryoidal grapestone. Based on the comprehensive analysis of“depositional fabrics-lithology-microfacies”, an association between a fore mound, mound framework,and back mound subfacies has been proposed based on water depth, current direction, energy level and lithologic assemblages. The microfacies of the mound base, mound core, mound flank, mound cap, and mound flat could be recognized among the mound framework subfacies. Two construction types of marginal microbial mound-bank complex have been determined based on deposition location, mound scale, migration direction, and sedimentary facies association. Type Jinkouhe microbial mound constructions(TJMMCs) develop along the windward margin owing to their proximity to the seaward subfacies fore mound, with a northeastwardly migrated microbial mound on top of the mud mound,exhibiting the characteristics of large-sized mounds and small-sized banks in the surrounding area. Type E'bian microbial mound constructions(TEMMCs) primarily occur on the leeward margin, resulting from the presence of onshore back mound subfacies, with the smaller southwestward migrated microbial mounds existing on a thicker microbial flat. The final quality of complex conical-section rings depends on co-design of multiple processes in forming process *** this study,for a complex aeroengine casing ring with a large slope and a flange on its end,a co-design method of the forming process chain is put forward towards the objective of precision forming,which not only proposes a standard process route composed of multiple processes of upsetting,punching,rectangular ring rolling,loose tooling forging and profiled ring rolling,but also presents co-design methods of dies and blanks for all the *** profiled ring rolling,a design method of preformed blank that makes the blank and the target conical-section ring have the same axial volume distribution is *** the method,the axial metal redistribution during the process can be alleviated greatly thus improving the forming stability and precision of the *** on the geometric features of designed preformed blank,design methods of blanks and dies for loose tolling forging,rectangular ring rolling,punching and upsetting are proposed *** view of the key roles of loose tooling forging(manufacturing the preformed blank)and profiled ring rolling on the final quality of the conical ring parts,inherited FE simulations for these two processes are performed to verify the proposed design methods and determine appropriate design *** is demonstrated that the proposed design method has significant advantages in improving forming ***,a suggestive value 1.5 of the rolling ratio for profiled ring rolling(a key design parameter)is given based on comprehensive consideration of multiple indicators such as ring roundness,deformation uniformity and forming *** corresponding industrial experiments performed illustrate that a high forming precision of the conical-section aeroengine casing ring is achieved.

This paper presents the design of a vision-based automated robotic microinjection system for batch injection of both zebrafish embryos and larvae.A novel visual recognition algorithm based on an automatic threshold and excessive dilatation is introduced to accurately identify the center of zebrafish embryos and larval yolks.A corresponding software system is developed using the producer-consumer model as the framework structure,and a friendly user interface is designed to allow operators to choose from a range of desired functions according to their different *** addition,a novel microstructural agarose device is designed and fabricated to simultaneously immobilize mixed batches of embryos and ***,a prototype microinjection system is fabricated by integrating hardware devices with visual *** experimental study is conducted to verify the performance of the robotic microinjection *** results show that the reported system can accurately identify zebrafish embryos and larvae and efficiently complete batch microinjection tasks of the mixtures with an injection success rate of 92.05%in 13.88 s per *** with manual and existing microinjection systems,the proposed system demonstrates the merits of versatility,excellent efficiency,high success rate,high survival rate,and sufficient stability.

The electron cyclotron emission(ECE)diagnostic system has been developed on the ENN spherical torus(EXL-50).The ECE system is designed to detect radiation emitted by energetic electrons,rather than conventional 1D electron temperature profile measurement,in the frequency range of 4-40 *** system is composed of five subsystems,each covering a different frequency band,including the C-band(4-8 GHz),X-band(8-12 GHz),Ku-band(12-18 GHz),K-band(18-26.5 GHz)and Kα-band(26.4-40 GHz).The system uses heterodyne detection to analyze the received *** K-band and Kα-band subsystems are located horizontally in the equatorial plane of the EXL-50,while the C-band,X-band and Ku-band subsystems are located under the vacuum vessel of the *** direct the microwaves from the plasma to the antennas for the horizontal detection subsystems,a quasi-optical system has been *** the vertical detection subsystems,the antennas are directly attached to the port located beneath the torus at R=700 mm,which is also the magnetic axis of the *** system integration,bench testing and initial experimental results will be thoroughly discussed,providing a comprehensive understanding of the ECE system s performance and capabilities.

Birds and bats retract and stretch their wings dynamically during each flap in level flights, implying intriguing mechanisms for the aerodynamic performance improvement of flapping wings. A numerical investigation into the aerodynamic effects of such bio-inspired concept in forward flights has been performed based on a three-dimensional wing in plunging motion and a twosection wing in flapping motion. The currently considered Reynolds number and Strouhal number are Re=1.5×10^(5) and St=0.3, respectively. During the research, the mean angle of attack is varied in relatively wide ranges to achieve lift-thrust interconversion for the wings. The conclusive results show that dynamical spanwise retraction and stretch has induced three absolutely desirable scenarios for the oscillating wings in forward flights, namely producing more lift and consuming less power for a given thrust generation, producing more thrust and consuming less power for a given lift generation, and producing more lift and more thrust while consuming less power. Furthermore,the morphing wings have alleviated periodical aerodynamic load fluctuations compared with the non-morphing baseline. The mechanism of the aerodynamic effects of the bionic morphing mode is analyzed with the aid of field visualization. The current article is the first to reveal the absolute advantages of the bionic spanwise morphing. Hopefully, it may help comprehend the behaviors of natural fliers and provide inspirations for performance enhancement of micro artificial flappingwing vehicles.

With the theoretical and technological developments related to cratonic strike-slip faults,the Shuntuoguole Low Uplift in the Tarim Basin has attracted considerable attention *** by multi-stage tectonic movements,the strike-slip faults have controlled the distribution of hydrocarbon resources owing to the special fault characteristics and fault-related *** contrast,the kinematics and formation mechanism of strike-slip faults in buried sedimentary basins are difficult to investigate,limiting the discussion of these faults and hydrocarbon *** this study,we identified the characteristics of massive sigmoidal tension gashes(STGs)that formed in the Shunnan area of the Tarim ***-resolution three-dimensional seismic data and attribute analyses were used to investigate their geometric and kinematic ***,the stress state of each point of the STGs was calculated using seismic curvature ***,the formation mechanism of the STGs and their roles in controlling hydrocarbon migration and accumulation were *** results suggest that:(1)the STGs developed in the Shunnan area have a wide distribution,with a tensile fault arranged in an enéchelon pattern,showing an S-shaped *** STGs formed in multiple stages,and differential rotation occurred along the direction of strike-slip stress during formation.(2)Near the principal displacement zone of the strike-slip faults,the stress value of the STGs was higher,gradually decreasing at both *** shallow layer deformation was greater than the deep layer deformation.(3)STGs are critical for connecting source rocks,migrating oil and gas,sealing horizontally,and developing efficient *** study not only provides seismic evidence for the formation and evolution of super large STGs,but also provides certain guidance for oil and gas exploration in this area.

Exploring the phase transition of high entropy alloys(HEAs)with multiple major elements is of great importance for understanding the underlying physical *** martensitic phase tran-sition has been frequently reported in HEAs,however,nanoscale microstructural phase evolution has not been investigated to the same ***,we have prepared the Ti_(33)Nb_(15)Zr_(25)Hf_(25)O_(2)HEA and investi-gated the strain glass transition and its associated properties using dynamic mechanical analysis and mi-crostructure *** have found that the elastic modulus in Ti_(33)Nb_(15)Zr_(25)Hf_(25)O_(2)HEA deviates from Wachtman’s equation and observed the Elinvar effect in the form of temperature-independent mod-ulus in the temperature range from 150 K to 450 K and frequency-dependence modulus around 220 *** strain glass transition has been evidenced in Ti_(33)Nb_(15)Zr_(25)Hf_(25)O_(2)HEA by the formation and growth of nano-sized domains during in-situ transmission electron microscopy(TEM)cooling,and substantiated by the broken ergodicity during zero-field-cooling/*** strain glass transition is believed to account for the Elinvar effect,where the modulus hardening of nano-sized domains compensates dynam-ically with the modulus softening of the transformable matrix.
