With the continuous development of man＇s ability to reshape naturehuman activities have become the third geomorphologic agent in the modern geomorphological process. Man-made landform is a landform unit characterized by human activities and is a result of synergizing human and nature geomorphologic agents under the physical geographical background. This article provides an overview on the major progresses in research on anthropogenic geomorphology from aspects like the origin of anthropogenic geomorphologyman-made landform agents and classificationman-made landform evolution and its influencing mechanismmap presentation of man-made landformand environmental impact of man-made landforms. In additionin the articlethe future development of anthropogenic geomorphology is forecasted. It is pointed out that future studies on anthropogenic geomorphology should pay more attention to the following directions： construction of discipline system of anthropogenic geomorphologymaterial composition and morphological features of man-made landformsspatial expansion process and development laws of man-made landformsregional disparity and accumulative environmental effects of man-made landformsand environmental management on man-made landforms and comparative analyses of relevant international management policies.

Irisin is a myokine that is generated by cleavage of the membrane protein fibronectin type Ⅲ domain-containing protein 5(FNDC5) in response to physical exercise. studies reveal that irisin/FNDC5 has neuroprotective functions against Alzheimer's disease, the most common form of dementia in the elderly, by improving cognitive function and reducing amyloid-β and tau pathologies as well as neuroinflammation in cell culture or animal models of Alzheimer's disease. Although current and ongoing studies on irisin/FNDC5 show promising results, further mechanistic studies are required to clarify its potential as a meaningful therapeutic target for alleviating Alzheimer's disease. We recently found that irisin treatment reduces amyloid-β pathology by increasing the activity/levels of amyloid-β-degrading enzyme neprilysin secreted from astrocytes. Herein, we present an overview of irisin/FNDC5's protective roles and mechanisms against Alzheimer's disease.

Gastrointestinal(GI)cancer is a malignancy arising in the digestive system and accounts for approximately a third of increasing global cancer-related mortality,especially in the colorectum,esophagus,stomach,and ***-1β(IL-1β)is a leukocytic pyrogen recognized as a tumor progression-related ***-1βsecretion and maturation in inflammatory responses could be regulated by nuclear factor-kappaB-dependent expression of NLR family pyrin domain containing 3,inflammasome formation,and activation of IL-1 converting *** studies have documented the pro-tumorigenic effects of IL-1β in tumor microenvironments,promoting proliferation and metastatic potential of cancer cells in vitro and tumorigenesis in *** application of IL-1β inhibitors is also promising for targeted therapy development in some cancer ***,as a leukocytic pro-inflammatory cytokine,IL-1β may also possess anti-tumorigenic effects and be type-specific in different *** editorial discusses the up-to-date roles of IL-1β in GI cancers,including underlying mechanisms and down-stream signaling *** and clarifying the roles of IL-1β would significantly benefit future therapeutic targeting and help improve therapeutic outcomes in patients suffering from GI cancer.

On 5 June 2017,Saudi Arabia announced the severance of diplomatic relations with *** Crown Prince Mohammed had hoped that the blockade against Qatar would make Qatar no longer hold an independent and autonomous foreign policy and away from the influence of Iran and ***,the Saudi blockade against Qatar has not only failed to bring the latter to its knees but has allowed it to stand on its own feet and gradually reduced its dependence on *** the same time,Qatar has strengthened its ties with Iran and Turkey,bringing the two powers directly into the Gulf region and challenging Saudi Arabia’s hegemony in the ***,on 5 January 2021,Saudi Arabia announced the restoration of diplomatic relations with *** on neoclassical realism,this paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the reasons for the resumption of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Qatar through both the international system and domestic factors,ultimately concluding that the reasons for the resumption of diplomatic relations between the two countries are related to Turkish and iranian forces,the attitude of the United States,as well as GCC unity,the change in the Crown Prince’s diplomatic philosophy,the preservation of Sunnis and the promotion of economic cooperation.

Following three generations of buyback contracts,the new model of iranian petroleum contracts(IPC) was introduced by the iranian cabinet to incentivize investments in the *** paper analyzes the fiscal terms of the contract with technical information from one of the candidate fields for *** financial simulation shows that,in general,the IPC resembles more a service contract than a production sharing contract as the contractor's take is relatively low—below 5% across different scenarios of crude oil ***,the IPC is progressive in that as the overall profitability of the project improves the government takes an increasing share of the economic *** results are confirmed in a sensitivity analysis of each party's profitability and takes on oil price,CAPEX,OPEX and the fee.

Predicting cutaneous leishmaniasis using SARIMA and Markov switching models in Isfahan, Iran: A time-series study

Objective:To determine the potential effect of environment variables on cutaneous leishmaniasis occurrence using time-series models and compare the predictive ability of seasonal autoregressive integrated moving average(SARIMA)models and Markov switching model(MSM).Methods:This descriptive study employed yearly and monthly data of 49364 parasitologically-confirmed cases of cutaneous leishmaniasis in Isfahan province,located in the center of Iran from January 2000 to December *** data were provided by the leishmaniasis national surveillance system,the meteorological organization of Isfahan province,and iranian Space Agency for vegetation *** SARIMA and MSM models were implemented to examine the environmental factors of cutaneous leishmaniasis ***:The minimum relative humidity,maximum relative humidity,minimum wind speed,and maximum wind speed were significantly associated with cutaneous leishmaniasis epidemics in different lags(P<0.05).Comparing SARIMA and MSM,Akaikes information criterion(AIC),and mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)in MSM were much smaller than SARIMA models(MSM:AIC=0.95,MAPE=3.5%;SARIMA:AIC=158.93,MAPE:11.45%).Conclusions:SARIMA and MSM can be a useful tool for predicting cutaneous leishmaniasis in Isfahan *** cutaneous leishmaniasis falls into one of two states of epidemic and non-epidemic,the use of MSM(dynamic)is recommended,which can provide more information compared to models that use a single distribution for all observations(Box-Jenkins SARIMA model).

Following Per Aage Brandt's"Towards a cognitive semiotics"(2011),culture as a cognitive-semiotic model allows us to look into the interrelation of cognition and signs through the act of interpretation of ***,culture characterized as habits of feeling,attention,thought,and action plays a role of modeling in the *** cultural evolution,culture also has a feature of practice of habit-taking for transformation through dialogic relations of semiosis from Peirce's semiotic *** paper argues for narrative modeling which enables habit-taking in feelings by way of analogical reasoning in a form of parable as cognitive process.A story in a form of qualia as a model for thought is embodied in narrative modeling to be enactive by a storytelling ***,narrative modeling reveals the process of thought through habit-taking in feelings of empathy and sympathy to a feeling of an idea as a *** leads to an act of understanding other mind,sharing the meaning and value of a story for enhancing sensibility and cultural literacy for cultural *** journey of story-making and story-telling by way of narrative modeling shows a trajectory for a quest for meaning and value which will be found between"you"and"I".

Variation in the location of the South Asian High （SAH） in early boreal summer is strongly influenced by elevated surface heating from the Tibetan Plateau （TP） and the iranian Plateau （IP）. Based on observational and ERA-Interim data, diagnostic analyses reveal that the interannual northwestward-southeastwaxd （NW-SE） shift of the SAH in June is more closely correlated with the synergistic effect of concurrent surface thermal anomalies over the TP and IP than with each single surface thermal anomaly over either plateau from the preceding May. Concurrent surface thermal anomalies over these two plateaus in May are characterized by a negative correlation between sensible heat flux over most parts of the TP （TPSH） and IP （IPSH）. This anomaly pattern can persist till June and influences the NW-SE shift of the SAH in June through the release of latent heat （LH） over northeastern India. When the IPSH is stronger （weaker） and the TPSH is weaker （stronger） than normal in May, an anomalous cyclone （anticyclone） appears over northern India at 850 hPa, which is accompanied by the ascent （descent） of air and anomalous convergence （divergence） of moisture flux in May and June. Therefore, the LH release over northeastern India is strengthened （weakened） and the vertical gradient of apparent heat source is decreased （increased） in the upper troposphere, which is responsible for the northwestward （southeastward） shift of the SAH in June.

Prostate cancer(PCa)is the second most common malignancy among men *** Fu-Zheng-Yi-Liu(FZYL)Formula has been widely utilized in the treatment of *** study investigates whether the FZYL Formula can inhibit PCa by tar-geting the TAMs/CCL5 *** conducted in vitro co-cultures and in vivo co-injections of PCa cells and TAMs to mimic their *** showed that the FZYL Formula significantly reduced the proliferation,colony formation,subpopulations of PCSCs,and sphere-formation efficacy of PCa cells,even in the presence of TAM ***,the Formula markedly decreased the migration,invasion,and epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)of PCa cells induced by *** FZYL Formula also reversed M2 phenotype polarization in TAMs and dose-dependently reduced their CCL5 expression and secretion,with minimal cytotoxicity *** studies confirmed that the TAMs/CCL5 axis is a critical target of the FZYL Formula,as the addition of exogen-ous CCL5 partially reversed the formula’s inhibitory effects on PCSCs self-renewal in the co-culture ***,the Formula also significantly inhibited the growth of PCa xenografts,bone metastasis,and PCSCs activity in vivo by targeting the TAMs/CCL5 ***,this study not only elucidates the immunomodulatory mechanism of the FZYL Formula in PCa therapy but also highlights the TAMs/CCL5 axis as a promising therapeutic target.
