This study used a 1.5-layer reduced-gravity numerical model to investigate the nonlinear dynamics of Kuroshio intrusion into the Luzon *** model results suggested that both basin-scale wind curl and lateral friction are the primary factors that control the transformation of the flow,although inertia also plays an important *** an idealized model,both the mechanism via which the flow pattern changes depending on the two primary factors and the occurrence of hysteresis were *** was established that the transformation of the Kuroshio flow field between the four previously reported flow patterns(i.e.,leaping across,current looping,eddy shedding,and branch intruding) can be explained under a unified theoretical framework.A diagram is proposed to explain how the flow field transforms between the four patterns from a certain prior state when varying the values of the controlling factors.

[Objective] The paper was to understand the control efficacy and the optimal dosage of 16% validamycin？thifluzamide SC on controlling Selerotium rolfsii in Dendrobium officinale Kimura et Migo. [Method] The control efficacy of 16% validamycin·thifluzamide SC against *** was determined by spraying agents on the whole plant of ***. The significance of differences was analyzed by Duncan＇s new multiple range test （DMRT）. [Result] The control efficacy of 16% *** SC sprayed at the doses of 80-160 mg a.i./kg was 85.33% at 14 d post spraying, higher than that of control agent 4% validamycin AS sprayed at the dose of 80 mg a.i./kg （78.36%）, and equivalent to that of control agent 240 g/L thifluzamide SC sprayed at the dose of 120 mg a.i./kg （90.60%）. [Conclusion] 16% Validamycin·thifluzamide SC sprayed at the doses of 80-160 mg a.i./kg could effectively control the damage of *** in ***, and could be popularized in the production.

[Objective]The paper was to investigate the control effect of imidacloprid against Dendrobium officinale aphid. [Method]The control effects of 70%imidacloprid WP 4 000,5 000 and 6 000 times dilution and 10% imidacloprid 750 times dilution on D. officinale aphid were studied,respectively. [Result]70%Imidacloprid WP had quick and durable control effects on D. officinale aphid,and the control effect improved with the increasing concentration. The control efficacy at 7 d post secondary administration was up to 95. 4%-97. 8%. [Conclusion]70% Imidacloprid WP is safe to crops within the test dosage,and can be used for prevention and control of D. officinale aphid.

The functional genes underlying phenotypic variation and their interactions represent“genetic mysteries”.Understanding and utilizing these genetic mysteries are key solutions for mitigating the current threats to agriculture posed by population growth and individual food *** to advances in highthroughput multi-omics technologies,we are stepping into an Interactome Big Data era that is certain to revolutionize genetic *** this article,we provide a brief overview of current strategies to explore genetic *** then introduce the methods for constructing and analyzing the Interactome Big Data and summarize currently available interactome ***,we discuss how Interactome Big Data can be used as a versatile tool to dissect genetic *** propose an integrated strategy that could revolutionize genetic research by combining Interactome Big Data with machine learning,which involves mining information hidden in Big Data to identify the genetic models or networks that control various traits,and also provide a detailed procedure for systematic dissection of genetic mysteries,Finally,we discuss three promising future breeding strategies utilizing the Interactome Big Data to improve crop yields and quality.

This paper studies the operating characteristics of an M/G/1 queuing system with a randomized control policy and at most J vacations. After all the customers are served in the queue exhaustively, the server immediately takes at most J vacations repeatedly until at least N customers are waiting for service in the queue upon returning from a vacation. If the number of arrivals does not reach N by the end of the jth vacation, the server remains idle in the system until the number of arrivals in the queue reaches N. If the number of customers in the queue is exactly accumulated N since the server remains idle or returns from vacation, the server is activated for services with probability p and deactivated with probability （l-p）. For such variant vacation model, other important system characteristics are derived, such as the expected number of customers, the expected length of the busy and idle period, and etc. Following the construction of the expected cost function per unit time, an efficient and fast procedure is developed for searching the joint optimum thresholds （N＊,J＊） that minimize the cost function. Some numerical examples are also presented.

The control effect of 68% Metalaxyl-M·Mancozeb WDG against Dendrobium officinale blight was studied. The results showed that the control effect of 68% Metalaxyl-M·Mancozeb WDG at the dose of 1 133-1 360 mg/kg against D. officinale blight was over 78.4% at 14 d post spraying, which was equivalent to that of control agent 72% Cymoxanil·Mancozeb WP(1 200 mg/kg) and 80% Mancozeb WP(1 143 mg/kg).Therefore, 68% Metalaxyl-M·Mancozeb WDG sprayed at the dose of 1 133-1 360 mg/kg could effectively control the damage of D. officinale blight.

[Objective] The paper was to explore the effective agent against seedling blight of Atractylodes macrocephala. [Method] The control effects of 60% validamycin A SP against seeding blight of A. macrocephala were studied in the field, and compared with that of control agent 20% bismerthiazol WP. [Result] At 14 d post the third spraying, the control effect of 60% validamycin A SP at the dose of 495-540 g/hm;was 76.9%,which was equivalent to that of control agent 20% bismerthiazol WP sprayed at the dose of 270 g/hm;（76.7%）. [Conclusion] 60% Validamycin A SP could be used as the ideal agent against seedling blight of A. macrocephala, with good prospects of application and popularization.

Flixweed seeds were collected from suspected winter wheat fields and remote hillside in Shaanxi Province, China, their sensitivities to tribenuron-methyl were evaluated in the greenhouse. Results revealed that biotype S was susceptible to tribenuron, and its GRs0 was 0.23 g a.i. ha^-1, whereas biotypes R1, R2, R3, and R4 were resistant to the tribenuron, and their GR50 were 161.99, 79.70, 439.80, and 312.30, respectively. Biotypes R1 and R2 showed moderate resistance with resistant indices （RI） of 615.23 and 302.7, respectively. Whereas biotypes R3 and R4 showed high resistance to the herbicide with RI values as high as 1 670.34 and 1 186.10, respectively.

The influence of temperature on the corrosion behavior of Alloy 690 is evaluated using potentiodynamic polarization curves, electrochemical impedance spectra （EIS）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, X- ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） and transmission electron microscopy （TEM）. The corrosion rate of Alloy 690 reaches a local maximum at 250℃. The kinetic control step of the growth of oxide film changes from the diffusion process of aqueous-phase ions to the growth of Cr-rich barrier layer in the temperature range of 200-300 ℃. A modified double-layer model is proposed to describe the effect of temperature on the structure and composition of the oxide film.
