Voltage-gated sodium channels on dorsal root ganglion are essential to the transmission of somatic thermal, mechanical, touch, itch and pain sensation. Our data indicated that extracellular matrix, β-subunit and sodium channels participate in regulating pain of rat. However, the developmental phenotype of extracellular matrix modulating the expression of sodium channels in dorsal root ganglion neurons is not clear so far. The dynamic expression of sodium channel subtypes, beta subunit, extracellular matrix components were distinct from postnatal 1 day to 6 weeks. The whole cell patch clamp recordings showed that the peak, density and activation curve of sodium currents increased fast at 2-3 weeks postnatal, which synchronized to thresholds of thermal and mechanical stimuli, and were similar to the m RNA of sodium channels and beta subunits, but were different to the expression of several extracellular matrix. After Ch ABC treatment, the density and activation of sodium currents in 3 weeks were decreased, but in 4 weeks were increased. These results demonstrated that the interaction of extracellular matrix, β subunit and sodium channels are quite dynamic, and the period from the second to third week is a critical point for the shift of growth and somatic sensation during postnatal development.

Voltage-gated sodium（Nav） channels play key roles in induction, transmission, transduction of pathological pain. Nav channels are composed of a pore-forming α subunit and associated β subunits. Each of β subunits（β1-β4） is a single membranespanning glycoprotein with one Ig-like motif in their extracellular domains, which may bind to Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans（CSPGs）. Thus, β subunits appear to function as cell adhesion molecules, and CSPGs may be the important regulator of localization and function of α subunit. Based on our well-established mirror image pain model induced by sodium channel specific scorpion peptidergic activator, here, we found that after pretreated with Chondroitinase, rat spontaneous pain behaviors, bilateral mechanical hypersensitivity and unilateral thermal hypersensitivity, were reduced significantly. The quantitative real-time PCR, immunoblotting, immunofluorescent and other techniques showed that Tenascins（major components of CSPGs in nervous system） and β subunits co-localized together in neurons, and increased synergistically underlying mirror image pain;and vice versa, decreased when pretreated with Chondroitinase. Finally, Tenascins could regulate sodium channels alone and/or together with β subunits. The results indicated that CSPGs and β subunits would be an endogenous modulation of sodium channel-involved in mirror image pain, and thus provide some novel strategies for pain therapy and especially advantageous for analgesic development.

Aquilaria sinensis(Thymelaeaceae)is widely cultivated in southern China for its significant medicinal *** resinous wood,the most used part of the plant as traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),locally called“Chen Xiang(沉香)”or Chinese agarwood,has been traditionally used for the treatment of circulatory disorders,abdominal pain,vomiting,and *** date,over 249 compounds have been isolated and identified from this plant.A range of bioactivities,including α-glucosidase inhibitory effects,anti-inflammatory,cytotoxicity,neuroprotective,anti-neuroinflammatory,antimicrobial and acetylcholinesterase inhibitory effects,along with some of the pharmacological mechanisms have been reported for the pure compounds or extracts of Aquilaria *** the purpose of quality control and clinical safety of drug usage,modern analytical instruments and chemical analysis methods have been applied for analyses of Aquilaria *** order to comprehensively understand the medicinal application and to fully utilize the plant,a literature search on the herb based on databases including SciFinder,Web of Science,Pubmed,Google Scholar and others was performed and the information regarding to the phytochemistry investigations,pharmacological studies and quality control was summarized in this paper.

Landslide induced by rainfall is very common in the world,which seriously threatens the safety and *** the landslide on the right bank of the Xiajiang Water Control Project as an example,this paper carried out comprehensive monitoring of groundwater level,earth pressure,and surface deformation of the landslide analyzed the landslide formation mechanism and predicted the stability of the *** results show that the rainfall infiltration caused fluctuations in the groundwater level of the slope,which caused the instability of liquefaction in the shallow surface layer,fluctuations in the reservoir reduced the stability of the *** activity between the bedrock and the soil-rock mixture controls the slope stability to a large *** on the comprehensive impact analysis of these triggering events,it is considered that the slope is undergoing continuous deformation and needs to be landslide management.

Jinghuiqu Canal Irrigation District is an old irrigation area with a long *** to natural and man-made factors,the inflow and rainfall of the irrigation area are decreasing,which seriously affects agricultural production water in the irrigation area and constantly threatens the safety of irrigation water in irrigation *** this paper,natural and man-made factors of affecting irrigation water in irrigation area are analyzed,and it is proposed that main channels of solving safety of irrigation water are enhancing the utilization of canal water and optimizing the allocation of canals and wells.

In recent years,the strong virulence pathotype Ⅴ of rice bacterial blight grew up quickly in Southern China,which has become a major population and spread to the rice regions of Jiangsu and zhejiang provinces in Southern *** pathotype Ⅴ caused serious bacterial blight disease in rice production regions,it is urgent to breed and promote resistant varieties against pathotype Ⅴ.The most economic and effective measure to control rice bacterial blight is to breed resistant cultivars for widely planting using resistance *** Institute of Plant Protection,Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences,and Agricultural Science Research Institute of Panyu District of Guangzhou used IRBB5 carrying the recessive xa5 gene from IRRI that is resistant to pathotype Ⅴ to breed resistant varieties with rice blast resistance source,through hybridization,multiple cross,pedigree selection and synchronous resistance *** successfully bred series of new resistant rice varieties such as Baijiangzhan,Baijingzhan and Baisizhan,which showed resistance to strong virulence pathotype Ⅴ(grade 1-3)of bacterial blight and rice blast(mediate to high resistance),good grain quality(level 3 of rice quality of Guangdong),and yield equivalent to major cultivars(compared with region trial control cultivars of Guangdong).These new resistant varieties were promoted and planted in the strong virulence pathotype Ⅴ region along the west coast of Guangdong,which showed favorable superiority and wide application prospect in controlling rice bacterial blight with resistance varieties.
