Disease progression prediction and therapeutic drug target discovery for Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)are particularly important,as there is still no effective strategy for severe COVID-19 patient ***,we performed multi-platform omics analysis of serial plasma and urine samples collected from patients during the course of *** analyses of these omics data revealed several potential therapeutic targets,such as ANXA1 and *** changes in plasma indicated dysregulation of macrophage and suppression of T cell functions in severe patients compared to those in non-severe ***,we chose 25 important molecular signatures as potential biomarkers for the prediction of disease *** prediction power was validated using corresponding urine samples and plasma samples from new COVID-19 patient cohort,with AUC reached to 0.904 and 0.988,*** conclusion,our omics data proposed not only potential therapeutic targets,but also biomarkers for understanding the pathogenesis of severe COVID-19.

Background:Macrovascular invasion(MaVI)occurs in nearly half of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)patients at diagnosis or during follow-up,which causes severe disease deterioration,and limits the possibility of surgical *** study aimed to investigate whether computed tomography(CT)-based radiomics analysis could help predict development of MaVI in ***:A cohort of 226 patients diagnosed with HCC was enrolled from 5 hospitals with complete MaVI and prognosis ***-based radiomics signature was built via multi-strategy machine learning ***,MaVI-related clinical factors and radiomics signature were integrated to construct the final prediction model(CRIM,clinical-radiomics integrated model)via random forest ***-regression analysis was used to select independent risk factors to predict the time of MaVI ***-Meier analysis was conducted to stratify patients according to the time of MaVI development,progression-free survival(PFs),and overall survival(Os)based on the selected risk ***:The radiomics signature showed significant improvement for MaVI prediction compared with conventional clinical/radiological predictors(Psatisfactory areas under the curve(AUC)of 0.986 and 0.979 in the training(n=154)and external validation(n=72)datasets,*** presented with excellent generalization with AUC of 0.956,1.000,and 1.000 in each external cohort that accepted disparate CT scanning protocol/***9_fos_InterquartileRange[hazard ratio(HR)=1.98;Ps selected as the independent risk *** cox-regression model successfully stratified patients into the high-risk and low-risk groups regarding the time of MaVI development(Ps(Ps(P=0.002).Conclusions:The CT-based quantitative radiomics analysis could enable high accuracy prediction of subsequent MaVI development in HCC with prognostic implications.

Background:This systematic analysis aspired to investigate the diagnostic and prognostic role of metastasis associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1(MALAT1)in breast ***:We conducted a search in PubMed,EMBAsE,MEDLINE,Web of science,CNKI,Wanfang and VIP databases to identify eligible articles,and combined the effect sizes using stata 15.0 and Meta-Disc ***:19 articles were identifed in our study,including 9 diagnostic articles and 11 prognostic *** the diagnostic meta-analysis,the pooled specificity,sensitivity,diagnostic odds ratio,area under the curve of MALAT1 in confirming breast cancer were 0.77(95%confidence interval(CI):0.68-0.84),0.81(95%CI:0.71-0.88),14.09(95%CI:6.34-31.31)and 0.85(95%CI:0.82-0.88),*** subgroup analysis demonstrated that the diagnostic effect of MALAT1 in triple negative breast cancer was higher than in breast *** the survival outcomes meta-analysis,patients with over-expression of MALAT1 had poor overall survival,recurrence free survival,metastasis-free survival,disease specific survival and disease free ***:MALAT1 may serve as a promising biomarker for diagnosis and prognosis for confirming breast cancer.

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of integrated Chinese and western medicine(ICWM)in the treatment of ***:Literature retrieval was performed in PubMed,Cochrane Library,EMBAsE,Web of science,CNKI,VIP and Wanfang database from inception to November 1,*** data extraction and quality assessment were completed by two independent ***-analysis was performed using Review Manager ***:30 clinical trials were included with 3379 *** meta-analysis showed that there were significant differences in the total effective rate(RR=1.24,95%CI[1.15,1.35];Psion rate from mild or moderate to severe(RR=0.32,95%CI[0.24,0.44];Psappearance time of fever(MD=-1.60,95%CI[-1.99,-1.21];Pse reactions(RR=0.52,95%CI[0.31,0.87];Pstern medicine(WM)*** there were no differences between two groups in the cure rate(RR=1.22,95%CI[0.98,1.52];P>0.05)and the disappearance rate of fatigue(RR=1.18,95%CI[0.97,1.45];P>0.05).Conclusion:Meta-analysis results indicated that ICWM in the treatment of COVID-19 can improve clinical efficacy and ***,high-quality,large-sample,multi-center RCTs are required to confirm the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine intervention COVID-19.
