The promotion of energy efficiency(EE)helps address energy constraints and promote environmental *** study comprehensively explores the spatiotemporal variations,influencing factors,and configuration promotion paths of EE in 284 Chinese cities during 2003‒2019 using the global super-efficiency minimum distance to strong efficient frontier(G-S-MinDS),exploratory spatial data analysis(ESDA),multiscale geographically weighted regression(MGWR),and fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis(fsQCA)*** findings are:①china’s cities have an annual average EE of 0.658 with a growth rate of 0.53%,showing considerable promotion potential.②Industrial structure optimization,population agglomeration,economic development,and increased green coverage contribute positively,while government intervention and openness hinder china’s urban EE.③Four configurational promotion paths for enhancing china’s urban EE are identified,where among those paths population density is a core condition,while government intervention is *** study provides valuable insights into substantially improving urban EE,emphasizing the need for targeted policies to address energy and environmental crises in china.

To address air pollution and offer a convenient and comfortable living environment,the Chinese government launched a smart city pilot(SCP)project in 2012,accompanied by a comprehensive set of environmental and energy-related laws and *** academic interest in smart cities has surged,there remains a notable gap in empirical research exploring the economic,environmental,and energy effects of such *** 232 prefecture-level cities from 2003 to 2017 as research subjects,this study measures energy effi‐ciency by using energy consumption per unit of GDP and adopts a difference-in-differences(DID)analysis to investigate the impact of SCPs on energy *** empirical results indicate that SCPs improved energy efficiency by promoting urban technological innovation capabilities and green total factor productivity,and this effect was more pronounced in cities that were more dependent on traditional fossil fuel energy sources and had more developed fiscal and financial *** the impact of smart city construction on energy utilization efficiency in developing countries,such as china,is not only significantly enlightening for china’s green and low-carbon transition but also provides reference opinions for constructing smart cities and the path to enhancing energy efficiency in other developing *** findings provide valuable insights into the global development of smart cities,urban sustainability,and high-quality economic growth.

Fractional initial-value problems(IVPs) and time-fractional initial-boundary value problems(IBVPs), each with a Caputo temporal derivative of order α ∈(0, 1), are considered. An averaged variant of the well-known L1 scheme is proved to be O(N^(-2)) convergent for IVPs on suitably graded meshes with N points, thereby improving the O(N^(-(2-α))) convergence rate of the standard L1 scheme. The analysis relies on a delicate decomposition of the temporal truncation error that yields a sharp dependence of the order of convergence on the degree of mesh grading used. This averaged L1 scheme can be combined with a finite difference or piecewise linear finite element discretization in space for IBVPs, and under a restriction on the temporal mesh width, one gets again O(N^(-2)) convergence in time, together with O(h^(2)) convergence in space,where h is the spatial mesh width. Numerical experiments support our results.

The exploration of ecological safety in tourism sites can provide a concrete path for sustainable tourism development in a *** on the“Driver-Pressure-State-Impact-Response”(DPSIR)model,we constructed an index system for the evaluation of tourism ecological security(TES)in the Silk Road economic Belt(SREB)from 2005 to *** index system was used to explore the characteristics of spatial and temporal dynamic evolution with the help of entropy weight TOPSIS method,dynamic index of TES and Markov probability transfer matrix,and a standard deviational ellipse(SDE)model and GM(1,1)model were constructed for spatial pattern analysis and *** results indicate four key aspects of this system.(1)In terms of spatiotemporal evolution,the tourism ecological safety index(TESI)of the SREB increased,the TES levels of the northwestern and southwestern provinces and cities differed significantly,and the quality conditions of TES in the southwestern provinces and cities were better than in the northwest.(2)In terms of dynamic evolutionary characteristics,the speed of change at each level of the SREB was slow,but the level of TES has *** TES level has not shifted by leaps and bounds,and the shifts in the level type show“path dependence”and“self-locking”effects.(3)In terms of spatial and temporal distribution patterns,the spatial pattern of TES in the SREB is a“northwest-southeast”movement trend,and the spatial distribution appeared as“aggregation”from 2005 to *** prediction results show that the center of gravity of TES in the SREB will shift to the southeast from 2025 to 2035,and the spatial spillover effect will be reduced.(4)In terms of driving factors,the number of star-rated hotels,and the amounts of industrial wastewater emissions,tourism foreign exchange earnings,forest coverage,and other parameters are the key factors affecting TES,and the booming tourism industry requires the interconnection and interpenetration of various *** resul

In multiple heterogeneous networks, developing a model that considers both individual and shared structures is crucial for improving estimation efficiency and interpretability. In this paper,we introduce a semi-parametric individual network autoregressive model. We allow autoregression and regression coefficients to vary across networks with subgroup structure, and integrate both covariates and node relationships into network dependence using a single-index structure with unknown links. To estimate all individual and commonly shared parameters and functions, we introduce a novel penalized semiparametric approach based on the generalized method of moments. Theoretically, our proposed semiparametric estimator for heterogeneous networks exhibits estimation and selection consistency under regular conditions. Numerical experiments are conducted to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed estimator. The proposed method is applied to analyze patient distribution in hospitals to further demonstrate its utility.

The building sector plays a crucial role in the worldwide shift toward achieving net-zero *** energy efficiency standards(BEESs)are highly effective policies for reducing carbon ***,exploring the provincial variations in carbon emission efficiency(CEE)in the building sector and identifying the effect of BEESs on CEE is *** study focuses on commercial buildings in china and applies a difference in differences model to evaluate the impact of BEESs on the CEE of commercial *** slacks-based measure–data envelopment analysis model is employed to assess the CEE of commercial buildings in 30 Chinese provinces from 2000 to ***,heterogeneous tests are used to explore how climate characteristics and economic conditions affect the efficiency of *** results indicate that BEESs positively influence the CEE of commercial ***,a 1%increase in the intensity of BEESs causes a 0.1484%increase in the CEE of commercial ***,the impact of BEESs is particularly pronounced in the southern and western *** study provides valuable scientific evidence for governments to enhance BEESs implementation.

This paper develops a new class of multivariate models for large-dimensional time-varying covariance matrices,called Cholesky generalized autoregressive score(GAS)models,which are based on the Cholesky decomposition of the covariance matrix and assume that the parameters are ***,two types of score-driven updates are considered:one is closer to the GARCH family,and the other is inspired by the stochastic volatility *** demonstrate that the models can be estimated equation-wise and are computationally feasible for high-dimensional ***,we design an equationwise dynamic model averaging or selection algorithm which simultaneously extracts model and parameter uncertainties,equipped with dynamically estimated model *** simulation results illustrate the superiority of the proposed ***,using a sizeable daily return dataset that includes 124 sectors in the Chinese stock market,two empirical studies with a small sample and a full sample are conducted to verify the advantages of our *** full sample analysis by a dynamic correlation network documents significant structural changes in the Chinese stock market before and after COVID-19.

Influenced by Confucian relationalism,Chinese organizations exhibit a Yuanfen-Guanxi orientation,forming a“Yuanfen circle-based”organizational *** stands in stark contrast to the scatter-point organizational identification grounded in the western *** a speculative research method,this study probes into the ideological connotations and cultural foundations of View of Confucian Yuanfen(hereinafter referred to as the View).It deeply explores the intrinsic link between Yuanfen relationship and organizational identification,thereby investigating the mechanisms by which organizational identification is generated in Chinese enterprises as influenced by the *** findings reveal that within the Confucian cultural context,the intra-organizational relationship manifests as a“Yuanfen circle-based”structure,progressively advancing through“occupational connection-emotional connection-kinship connection”*** structure significantly influences organizational identification across cognitive,emotional,and behavioral ***,a triadic,synergistically driven mechanism of organizational identification in Chinese enterprises is identified,comprising emotional cohesion,ethical edification,and institutional *** mechanism enhances organizational identification and human resource management in Chinese enterprises,as well as their self-organizing capabilities in uncertain environments.

Recently,the policy of relaxing the“two-child”birth control has obviously met a“cold”response,and china’s population growth is facing a huge risk of“cliff-type”*** text analysis and quasi-experimental method,this paper theoretically and empirically demonstrates the change of fertility costs in urban and rural areas and its influence on fertility rate,and then on the effect of“two-child”fertility *** results show that,in recent years,as fertility costs change,the fertility desire of rural families has greatly reduced,while those of urban families has increased slightly,then the fertility desire of urban and rural areas declines in *** the same time,the actual fertility rate is much lower than the desirable fertility level,so the“two-child”policy fails to achieve satisfactory *** key to the future population policy reform in china is to draw lessons from the historical experience of developed countries and eliminate the adverse effects of changes in fertility costs through fertility incentives measures.

In this paper, we propose a new "full public verifiability" concept for hybrid public-key encryption schemes. We also present a new hybrid public-key encryption scheme that has this feature, which is based on the decisional bilinear Diffie–Hellman assumption. We have proven that the new hybrid public-key encryption scheme is secure against adaptive chosen ciphertext attack in the standard model. The "full public verifiability"feature means that the new scheme has a shorter ciphertext and reduces the security requirements of the symmetric encryption scheme. Therefore, our new scheme does not need any message authentication code, even when the one-time symmetric encryption scheme is passive attacks secure. Compared with all existing publickey encryption schemes that are secure to the adaptive chosen ciphertext attack, our new scheme has a shorter ciphertext, efficient tight security reduction, and fewer requirements(if the symmetric encryption scheme can resist passive attacks).
