Optimizing Winding Angles of Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipes Based on Progressive Failure Criterion

This paper examines a scheme to optimize the multiple winding angles of reinforced thermoplastic pipes(RTPs)under internal and external *** co.sider the nonlinear mechanical behavior of the material under changes of winding angle due to deformation,we use three-dimensional(3D)thick-walled cylinder theory with the 3D Hashin failure criterion and theory of the evolution of damage to co.posite materials,to formulate a model that analyzes the progressive failure of *** accuracy of the model was verified by experiments.A model to optimize the multiple winding angles of the RTPs was then established using the model for progressive failure analysis and a multi-island genetic *** optimal scheme for winding angles of RTPs capable of withstanding the maximum internal/external pressure was *** simulation results showed that the ply number of the reinforced layer has a prominent nonlinear effect on the internal and external pressure capacity of the *** with RTPs with a single angle of±55°,the multiple winding angle overlay scheme based on the multi-angle optimization model improved the internal and external pressure capacity of the RTPs,and the improvement in the external pressure capacity was significantly better than the internal pressure carrying capacity.

Improvement in Toughness of Poly(ethylene 2,5-furandicarboxylate) by Melt Blending with Bio-based Polyamide11 in the Presence of a Reactive co.patibilizer

The objective of this study was to improve the toughness of bio-based brittle poly(ethylene 2,5-furandicarboxylate)(PEF) by melt blending with bio-based polyamide11(PA11) in the presence of a reactive multifunctional epoxy co.patibilizer(Joncryl ADR?-4368).The morphological,thermal,rheological,and mechanical properties of PEF/PA1 1 blends were *** with neat PEF,the toughness of PEF/PA11 blend was not improved in the absence of the reactive co.patibilizer due to the poor co.patibility between the two *** Joncryl was inco.porated into PEF/PA1 1 blends,the interfacial tension between PEF and PA1 1 was obviously reduced,reflecting in the fine average particle size and narrow distribution of PA11 dispersed phase as observed by scanning electron microsco.y(SEM).The co.plex visco.ities of PEF/PA11 blends with Joncryl were much higher than that of PEF/PA11 blend,which co.ld be ascribed to the formation of graft co.olymers through the epoxy groups of Joncryl reacting with the end groups of PEF and PA11 molecular ***,the co.patibility and interfacial adhesion between PEF and PA11 were greatly improved in the presence of *** co.patibilized PEF/PA11 blend with 1.5 phr Joncryl exhibited significantly improved elongation at break and unnotch impact strength with values of 90.1% and 30.3 kJ/m2,respectively,co.pared with those of 3.6% and 3.8 kJ/m2for neat PEF,*** work provides an effective approach to improve the toughness of PEF which may expand its widespread application in packaging.

Sliding mode co.trol of engine-variable pump-variable motor drive system

Engine-variable pump-variable motor drive system is a co.plex nonlinear system. In order to improve system response speed and stability,a sliding-mode variable-structure co.trol based on a feedback linearization theory is analyzed in this research. A standardized system model is established and linearized by the feedback linearization theory,and the input dimension is reduced through the relationship between variables which has simplified the linearization process. Then the sliding-mode co.troller using an exponential reaching law is designed and the Lyapunov stability of this algorithm is verified. The simulation results show that the sliding-mode variable-structure co.troller based on the feedback linearization theory can improve system response speed,reduce overshoot and achieve stronger robustness,so the vehicle speed co.trol requirements can be satisfied well.

Transcriptome profiling analysis of Mactra veneriformis by deepsequencing after exposure to 2,2′,4,4′-tetrabromodipheny1 ether

Polybrominated diphenyl ethers （PBDEs） are ubiquitous global pollutants, which are known to have immune, development, reproduction, and endocrine toxicity in aquatic organisms, including bivalves. 2,2＇,4,4＇-Tetrabromodiphenyl ether （BDE-47） is the predominant PBDE co.gener detected in environmental samples and the tissues of organisms. However, the mechanism of its toxicity remains unclear. In this study, high-throughput sequencing was performed using the clam Mactra veneriformis, a good model for toxico.ogical research, to clarify the transcriptomic response to BDE-47 and the mechanism responsible for the toxicity of BDE-47. The clams were exposed to 5 pg/L BDE-47 for 3 days and the digestive glands were sampled for high-throughput sequencing analysis. We obtained 127 648, 154 225, and 124 985 unigenes by de novo assembly of the co.trol group reads （CG）, BDE-47 group reads （BDEG）, and co.trol and BDE-47 reads （CG ＆ BDEG）, respectively. We annotated 32 176 unigenes from the CG ＆ BDEG reads using the NR database. We categorized 24 401 unigenes into 25 functional co. clusters and 21 749 unigenes were assigned to 259 KEGG pathways. Moreover, 17 625 differentially expressed genes （DEGs） were detected, with 10 028 upregulated DEGs and 7 597 downregulated DEGs. Functional enrichment analysis showed that the DEGs were involved with detoxification, antioxidant defense, immune response, apoptosis, and other functions. The mRNA expression levels of 26 DEGs were verified by quantitative real-time PCR, which demonstrated the high agreement between the two methods. These results provide a good basis for future research using the M. veneriformis model into the mechanism of PBDEs toxicity and molecular biomarkers for BDE-47 pollution. The regulation and interaction of the DEGs would be studied in the future for clarifying the mechanism of PBDEs toxicity.

A Model of Spray Tool and a Parameter Optimization Method for Spraying Path Planning

The digital camouflage spraying of special vehicles carried out by robots can greatly improve the spraying efficiency, spraying quality, and rapid adaptability to personalized patterns. The selection of spray tool and the accuracy of the adopted mathematical spray tool model has a great impact on the effectiveness of spray path planning and spraying quality. Since traditional co.ical spray tool models are not suitable for spraying rectangular digital camouflage, acco.ding to the characteristics of digital camouflage, the co.ting thickness cumulative distribution model of strip nozzle spray tool for 2 D plane spraying and 3 D surface spraying is derived, and its validity is verified by simulation. Based on the accumulation velocity model of the co.ting thickness(AVCT) on the curved surface and aiming at spraying path planning within the same surface and different surfaces, a path parameter optimization method based on co.ting uniformity evaluation of adjacent path overlapping area is proposed. co.bined with the vehicle surface model, parameters such as path interval, spray tool angle and spray tool motion velocity can be calculated in real-time to ensure uniform co.ting. Based on the known local three-dimensional model of vehicle surface and the co.prehensive spraying simulation, the validity of the purposed models: the co.ting thickness on the adjacent path area(CTAPA), the co.ting thickness on the intersection of two surfaces(CTITS), the co.ting thickness on the intersection of a plane and a surface(CTIPS), and the optimization method of path parameters are verified. The results show that co.pared with the traditional spray tool, the strip nozzle can better ensure the uniformity of the co.ting thickness of digital camouflage spray. Finally, acco.ding to a practical spraying experiment, the results prove that the proposed models not only are effective but also meet the practical industrial requirements and are of great practical value.

The co.parison of multi-layer narrow-gap laser and arc welding of S32101 duplex stainless steel

Mechanical Properties Study of Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipes Under A Tensile Load

This paper presents a study on the tensile properties of reinforced thermoplastic pipes(RTPs). A mechanical model of RTPs with an arbitrary number of reinforced layers under tensile action is co.structed by co.bining the co.stitutive relationship of elastoplastic materials with the co.tinuous displacement co.dition. On this basis, the effects of various parameters such as the winding angle, the number of structurally reinforced layers, and the inner polyethylene(PE) liner thickness on the tensile properties of the RTPs were analyzed, and a tensile test was carried out for validation. The results showed that the winding angle of the structurally reinforced layers was the main factor affecting an RTP's tensile performance— decreases in the winding angle significantly improved its tensile ability,especially the longitudinal strength. With ±45° as the demarcation point, the winding angle smaller than ±45° will result in higher strength in longitudinal direction, and the lifting effect on RTP's mechanical properties of the increasing number of reinforcement layers was better than that of the increasing thickness of the lining layer;when the winding angle was larger than ±45°, the opposite results were obtained. The fibre load was more sensitive to the winding angle than the PE load.

co.ling rate co.trolled basal precipitates and age hardening response of solid-soluted Mg-Gd-Er-Zn-Zr alloy

The precipitation and age hardening response of the solid-soluted Mg–10Gd–1Er–1Zn–0.6Zr(wt.%)alloy performed by water-quenching(QC),air-co.ling(AC)and furnace-co.ling(FC)in terms of the volume fraction of precipitates and tensile properties were investigated in present *** indicated the solid-soluted alloy co.tained stacking faults(SFs)and long period stacking ordered(LPSO)phase on the basal planes regardless of the co.ling rate,but a larger volume fraction of the LPSO phase was formed with decreasing in the co.ling *** aging,βandβ1 phases precipitated on the prismatic planes,and their number density decreased but mean particle size increased with decreasing in the co.ling *** solid-soluted alloys(QC,AC and FC samples)showed no apparent difference in yield strength(YS),but their co.respondent peak-aged alloys exhibited sharp difference in hardening *** strongest hardening response took place in the QC sample and showed 82MPa enhancement in YS,which was much larger than that of AC(+26MPa)and FC samples(+5MPa).The reason lies in that the higher co.ling rate promotes the precipitation and reduces the average size ofβprecipitate.A novel co.ling-rate co.trolled precipitation model with respect to the co.relation of precipitates on basal and prismatic planes was *** this model,the basal precipitates showed a restrictive effect on the growth and/or co.rsening ofβprecipitate,and co.posite precipitates co.taining theβphase with fine size as well as high area-number density and lower volume fraction of the LPSO phase are preferred to strengthen the Mg–10Gd–1Er–1Zn–0.6Zr alloy.

The moisturizing,barrier protection,firming effects of Asco.byl Propyl Hyaluronate(V_(C)-HA)are *** moisturizing effect was evaluated by detecting hygrosco.icity and water-retention capacity.A model of 3D skin injury was established to evaluate the barrier protection effect by detecting the changes in the histomorphological structure of the model and the barrier related *** level of type Ⅰ co.lagen in FB was detected to evaluate the firming effect(Filaggrin,FLG).The results show that V_(C)-HA has better moisturizing effect and obvious barrier protection effects at the co.centration of 300μg/*** level of type I co.lagen increases with the increase of the V_(C)-HA co.centration in the range of 100~6,250μg/*** co.clusion,a certain co.centration of V_(C)-HA has better moisturizing,barrier protection and firming effects.
