Metal–organic cage photocatalysts with nanoscale dimensions have received wide attention in the field of photocatalytic environmental pollutant treatment due to their large cavities,easy modification,high tunability,and enriched active ***,we prepared a series of dihydroanthracene-cored terpyridine-based metallo-cuboctahedron nanomaterials through a selfassembly method,which exhibited satisfactory degradation performance for persistent organic pollutants under visible light *** particular,under light conditions,S1-Zn,one of the prepared nanomaterials,produced photogenerated holes oxidizing water molecules to∙OH,which attacked ibuprofen(IBU)for up to 95% ***,the corresponding photogenerated electrons reduced the dissolved oxygen in water,producing 66.2μmol/L hydrogen *** obtained supramolecular photocatalytic materials have a stable structure with non-precious metals and do not require a sacrificial *** metal sites of metallo-cuboctahedrons adsorb pollutants and transfer captured holes to them,accelerating degradation and promoting simultaneous H_(2)O_(2) *** work not only proposes a simple and efficient synthesis method for supramolecular photocatalysts but also opens up opportunities for efficient,low-cost,and multifunctional materials for environmental persistent organic pollutants treatment.

An analysis of the sectorial structure of energy consumption shows that residential and tertiary sector buildings are the third-highest consumers,responsible for 29.5%of a city’s final energy *** Building Quality Control Laboratory of the Basque Government aims to promote quality,innovation,and sustainability in *** accomplish this goal,it has constructed an experimental facility with different energy generation technologies and a very versatile control system for testing different energy systems and operation *** this study,we tested a facility for supplying domestic hot water and heating for a multi-family house by means of a condensing boiler and an aerothermal heat pump(together with the corresponding control).This installation could reproduce the thermal demands required to be satisfied by the generation equipment through a programmed operation of the installation based on real ***,this installation was analyzed using thermoeconomics(TE)to solve problems unable to be solved using traditional energy analyses based on the First Law of *** problems include:(1)Determining the costs of the products of the installation based on physical criteria,(2)detecting the places where losses actually occur,evaluating their costs,and proposing cost-effective improvements,and(3)diagnosing issues in the *** a result,this paper suggests a solution to the preventive maintenance problems confronting the technical maintenance personnel for thermal installations in buildings by applying TE knowledge and using real data collected from sensors.

The surrounding geological conditions and supporting structures of underground engineering are often updated during construction,and these updates require repeated numerical *** improve the numerical modeling efficiency of underground engineering,a modularized and parametric modeling cloud server is developed by using Python *** basic framework of the cloud server is as follows:input the modeling parameters into the web platform,implement Rhino software and FLAC3D software to model and run simulations in the cloud server,and return the simulation results to the web *** modeling program can automatically generate instructions that can run the modeling process in Rhino based on the input modeling *** main modules of the modeling program include modeling the 3D geological structures,the underground engineering structures,and the supporting structures as well as meshing the geometric *** particular,various cross-sections of underground caverns are crafted as parametricmodules in themodeling *** and parametric modeling program is used for a finite element simulation of the underground powerhouse of the Shuangjiangkou Hydropower *** complicatedmodel is rapidly generated for the simulation,and the simulation results are ***,this modularized and parametric modeling program is applicable for three-dimensional finite element simulations and analyses.

In this decade,coal fly ash(CFA)is considered a potential secondary source of rare earth elements(REEs).However,most REEs in coal fly ash are encapsulated in aluminosilicate glass,making it challenging to recover them through acid *** this study,a sequential alkaline-organic acid leaching was developed for the recovery of REEs from *** effect of alkaline leaching using NaOH solution on the destructive ability of aluminosilicate glass,as well as the mineralogy and morphology changes of the resulting coal fly ash,was first ***,the effectiveness of alkaline leaching on the recovery ability of REEs through organic acid leaching was *** results show that the maximum leaching efficiency for Si and Al,which was obtained at the optimum alkaline leaching conditions,namely NaOH concentration of 10 mol/L,reaction temperature of 65℃,liquid/solid(L/S)ratio of 10 mL/g,and reaction time of 90 min,is 28%and 32%,*** digestion reaction with NaOH lixiviants also causes coal fly ash to become more porous,making it advantageous in the organic acid-leaching process at the REEs recovery *** utilization of the desilicated residue produced from the digestion process in acid leaching effectively increases the overall REEs recovery from 32.2%to 77.6%.

Soil disturbance evaluation of soft clay based on stress-normalized smallstrain stiffness

Soil disturbance includes the change of stress state and the damage of soil *** field testing indices reflect the combined effect of both changes and it is difficult to identify the soil structure disturbance directly from these *** the present study,the small-strain shear modulus is used to characterize soil structure disturbance by normalizing the effective stress and void ratio based on Hardin *** procedure for evaluating soil sampling disturbance in the field and the further disturbance during the subsequent consolidation process in laboratory test is proposed,and then validated by a case study of soft clay *** seismic testing in the field,portable piezoelectric bender elements for the drilled sample and bender elements in triaxial apparatus for the consolidated sample were used to monitor the shear wave velocity of the soil from intact to disturbed and even remolded *** is found that soil sampling disturbance degree by conventional thin-wall sampler is about 30%according to the proposed procedure,which is slightly higher than that from the modified volume compression method proposed by Hong and Onitsuka(1998).And the additional soil disturbance induced by consolidation in laboratory could reach about 50%when the consolidation pressure is far beyond the structural yield stress,and it follows the plastic volumetric strain quite well.

Chip seal is widely used for preventive maintenance to mitigate pavement deterioration,but it is prone to aggregate loss during pavement *** further promote the development and application of chip seals in road engineering in China,the research progress of the adhesion behavior of aggregate and binder in chip seals was reviewed in this paper,focusing on the adhesion mechanism of emulsified asphalt and alkaline *** Influencing factors and evaluation methodology of chip seals'aggregate adhesion behavior were also *** results demonstrate that the adhesion process between emulsified asphalt and alkaline aggregate is divided into three processes including infiltration,demulsification,and cluster,which is more complicated when compared to hot *** designing a chip seal,not only the characteristics of single material should be paid attention to,but also the combination of binder and aggregate matters a *** form good adhesion between aggregate and asphalt binder,various influencing factors such as material selection,design method,and construction technical index should be considered comprehensively in the whole design,construction,and operation *** methods for evaluating adhesion behavior are summarized,including macroscopic adhesion performance tests,image analysis technology,and model *** is not objective to evaluate the aggregate adhesion behavior of chip seal only by a single evaluation method.A comprehensive evaluation based on the micro-macro multi-scale method should be considered in the future.

The stable long-distance transmission of radio-frequency(RF)signals holds significant importance from various aspects,including the comparison of optical frequency standards,remote monitoring and control,scientific research and experiments,and RF spectrum *** demonstrate a scheme where an ultrastable frequency signal was transmitted over a 50 km coiled *** optical RF signal is generated using a two-section distributed feedback(DFB)laser for direct modulation based on the reconstruction equivalent chirp(REC)*** 3-dB modulation bandwidth of the two-section DFB laser is 18 GHz and the residual phase noise of-122.87 dBc/Hz is achieved at 10-Hz offset *** report a short-term stability of 1.62×10^(-14)at an average time of 1 s and a long-term stability of 6.55×10^(-18)at the measurement time of 62,000 s when applying current to the front section of the DFB *** applying power to both sections,the stability of the system improves to 4.42×10^(-18)within a testing period of 56,737 *** applying temperature variations to the transmission link,long-term stability of 8.63×10^(-18)at 23.9 h can still be achieved.

We propose a method for optimizing the phase stability of microwave signal transmission over long ***,the design of the photon link was modified to reduce the radio frequency(RF)signal’s baseline noise and increase ***,a low-noise driver circuit was developed for a two-section distributed feedback(DFB)laser designed using reconstruction equivalent chirp(REC)technology to create an ultra-stable laser,and its performance was characterized through linewidth *** results indicate that the DFB laser achieved narrower linewidth,improving system phase *** an injection current(30 mA)is applied to the reflection section of the two-section DFB laser,the laser linewidth will be narrower(1.38 MHz),further enhancing the system’s phase transmission *** a 1 Hz offset frequency,a residual phase noise of-88.65 dBc/Hz is *** short-term stability with an averaging time of 1 s is 1.60×10^(-14),and the long-term stability over a testing time of 60,000 s is 3.41×10^(-18).Even after incorporating temperature variations,the long-term stability reaches 8.37×10^(-18) at 22 h.

Enhancing XRF sensor-based sorting of porphyritic copper ore using particle swarm optimization-support vector machine(PSO-SVM)algorithm

X-ray fluorescence(XRF)sensor-based ore sorting enables efficient beneficiation of heterogeneous ores,while intraparticle heterogeneity can cause significant grade detection errors,leading to misclassifications and hindering widespread technology *** classification models are crucial to determine if actual grade exceeds the sorting threshold using localized XRF *** studies mainly used linear regression(LR)algorithms including simple linear regression(SLR),multivariable linear regression(MLR),and multivariable linear regression with interaction(MLRI)but often fell short attaining satisfactory *** study employed the particle swarm optimization support vector machine(PSO-SVM)algorithm for sorting porphyritic copper ore ***-scale results showed PSO-SVM out-performed LR and raw data(RD)models and the significant interaction effects among input features was *** poor input data quality,PSO-SVM demonstrated exceptional ***-scale sorting achieved 93.0%accuracy,0.24%grade increase,84.94%recovery rate,57.02%discard rate,and a remarkable 39.62 yuan/t net smelter return(NSR)increase compared to no *** improvements were achieved by the PSO-SVM model with optimized input combinations and highest data quality(T=10,T is XRF testing times).The unsuitability of LR methods for XRF sensor-based sorting of investigated sample is *** element selection and mineral association analysis elucidate element importance and influence mechanisms.

The trend towards automation and intelligence in aircraft final assembly testing has led to a new demand for autonomous perception of unknown cockpit operation scenes in robotic collaborative airborne system *** address this demand,a robotic automated 3D reconstruction cell which enables to autonomously plan the robot end-camera’s trajectory is developed for image acquisition and 3D modeling of the cockpit operation scene.A continuous viewpoint path planning algorithm is proposed that incorporates both 3D reconstruction quality and robot path quality into optimization *** metrics for viewpoint position paths and orientation paths are introduced together for the first time in 3D *** ensure safe and effective movement,two spatial constraints,Domain of View Admissible Position(DVAP)and Domain of View Admissible Orientation(DVAO),are implemented to account for robot reachability and collision *** using diffeomorphism mapping,the orientation path is transformed into 3D,consistent with the position *** orientation and position paths can be optimized in a unified framework to maximize the gain of reconstruction quality and path smoothness within DVAP and *** reconstruction cell is capable of automatic data acquisition and fine scene modeling,using the generated robot C-space *** and physical scene experiments have confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed method to achieve highprecision 3D reconstruction while optimizing robot motion quality.
