The genus Physalis belongs to the family Solanaceae,Physalis peruviana *** the most cultivated *** a newly explored crop in Brazil,little is known about its germination ecology and emergence under local *** aim of the present study was to determine the effect of temperature,photoperiod,planting depth and seed dormancy on the establishment of Physalis *** were conducted on two Physalis biotypes from Sert?o(Rio Grande do Sul state―RS)and Capelinha(Minas Gerais state).Seeds incubated at 27°C and 32°C exhibited high germination percentages of 98%and 96%,*** declined when seeds were incubated at 12,17,22 and 37°*** longer than 8 h are sufficient for seed germination,while the absence of light significantly reduces the germination *** should be planted at a depth of 1-2 cm to ensure better seedling *** 18 months of field work,81%of seeds had germinated and/or been predated prior to assessment,indicating low seed *** such,ideal conditions for Physalis seedling establishment are planting depth between 1 cm and 2 cm,temperatures ranging from 27°C to 32°C and a photoperiod longer than 8 h,with a postharvest seed shelf life of 12 months.

The worsening of the Brazilian prison crisis is the result of multiple factors,aggravated by the lack of maintenance of penal *** overall objective of the manuscript is to analyze the architectural guidelines aimed at resocialization of the Brazilian prisoners in the prisons of passo fundo/RS and Santa Luzia/***,we sought to understand the functionality of the Regional Prison of passo fundo/RS(common system)and the prison of Santa Luzia/MG(The Association of Protection and Assistance to the Convicts(APAC)methodology),with architectural guidelines in evaluating the efficiency of *** results showed that architectural conservation and resocialization programs positively influence the decrease in criminal recidivism.

There is a growing worldwide interest in the potential of using existing buildings to generate their own energy as a way to alleviate problems related to the exhaustion of energy resources,environmental degradation and the constant increase in energy-related *** the distributed electricity generation solutions on the market today,wind energy can be a solution for many existing city buildings ***,the objective of this article is to investigate the economic viability of generating wind energy in a multifamily building located in Southern Brazil,(city of passo fundo),seeking to supply the condominium electric energy for the period of one year of consumption with a renewable *** this end,the energy demand of the condominium and the energy generation of the wind turbine were taken into account to calculate the economic viability of the *** results showed a positive NPV(net present value)demonstrating the economic feasibility of carrying out such an *** IRR(internal rate of return)was 15.22%and the return on investment(payback)occurs in 7.88 years.

Characterized by high consumption of natural resources and great generation of environmental impacts,civil construction becomes an important ally to the development of strategies for a more sustainable built *** this context,this article aims to evaluate construction systems of social interest housing and point out their participation in relation to total impacts,in addition to indicating the environmental impacts embedded in the construction materials present in these *** this end,a case study was selected to apply Life Cycle Assessment(LCA)methodology and assess impacts of the building materials used in a house of a social housing *** was applied to masonry,roof,coatings and floor *** scope adopted assesses impacts incorporated in construction materials,analyzing the stages of raw material extraction,materials production,transport to construction site,maintenance and materials *** life cycle inventory,Ecoinvent 3.6 database was used and environmental impacts were calculated using CML method with the aid of OpenLCA 1.9 *** general,results showed that the maintenance phase has the greatest environmental impact participation related to analyzed ***,it was possible to conclude that coatings and masonry systems were the ones that most added to total environmental impacts.

The discussion about the use of the bicycle as a means of transport has been gaining importance on a global scale,although countries like Brazil still have urban mobility difficulties caused by how urban densification occurs,the growing number of motor vehicles and the lack of space for the construction of cycle paths in *** general objective of this manuscript is to analyze the result of public policies aimed at the implementation of bicycle paths,with the“passo fundo Vai de Bici”Program created to investigate the variations in intensity in relation to the areas served by the current incentive for active cycling mobility in the city of passo fundo(South of Brazil).Methodologically,Google Earth Pro satellite images were used to map the existing bike paths in the ***,geographic coordinate points and altitudes of specific locations on the bike paths and bike sharing stations were collected,generating a database,transferred to the Qgis 3.10 software for the preparation of heat *** results showed the lack of integration between the cycling systems analyzed by the distance factor,needing to encourage discussions about its expansion and functionality,consolidating it as an urban public policy of local functionality to foster sustainable transport.

This paper aims to discuss the concept of reuse as a preservation practice for historic *** of the inherent characteristics of architecture is *** is among the necessary conditions for its ***,considering cultural assets and the architectural heritage of different historical moments,currently recognized as depository of artistic,social and memory values,worthy of being preserved,the issue of reuse assumes relationships that go beyond pragmatic aspects to become a cultural *** this end,it can be observed the debate about the reuse of heritage buildings has been gaining prominence in the academic and technical sphere of *** May 2018,the 5th International Forum on Architectural Heritage Brazil-Portugal(FIPA)took place in the city of Rio de Janeiro,*** event had as a study dimension the reuse while a preservationist *** is why the methodology used to structure this text is bibliometrics,in other words,this study was based on papers presented at the event in direct dialogue with the concept under *** this context,it is observed the attribution of a new use,compatible with the characteristics of pre-existing structures,which becomes an important preservation tool.

Children’s playgrounds are open spaces,the basis for children’s recreation,important for the inclusion and mobility of visually impaired children in the social environment,through inclusive urban facilities that stimulate new experiences for their cognitive *** this context,the use of co-design with visually impaired people,in the design processes of children’s playgrounds,assumes an importance for an inclusive project based on their ***,it aimed to promote a project together,to provide more comfort and safety to *** presents as main results as better colors,materials and types of toys for children with visual impairment to be competent in a playground including from the application of methods,tools and resources in the co-design process.
