in this paper, we focus on the state and parameter identification problem of a hydrodynamical system. This system is modeled as a linearized water wave equation(LWWE), a hyperbolic state-space model coupled with a Laplace equation. We assume that the wave elevation at two distinct points is the only measurement of water waves. We show that the state and water depth can be reconstructed from this point measurement records. The identification problem is recast as an optimization problem over an infinite-dimensional space. We propose the adjoint method-based identification algorithm to generate an estimated state and water depth. We then performed a numerical simulation to show the effectiveness of our designed algorithm by comparing it with existing studies.

A cheap method allowing fabrication of biocompatible,ultra-small(2-10 nm)and fluorescent(λ_(em)=425-500 nm)nanohybrids(NHs)from coffee wastes is *** gadolinium-doped nanohybrids(GDNHs)or gadolinium-free carbon dots(GFCDs)can be synthesized in a domestic microwave oven according to green synthesis *** sizes,chemical composition,impact on proton magnetic resonance relaxation time and optical properties of the GDNHs and GFCDs were studied in details and *** particular,doping of the NHs with Gd^(3+)ions,up to 1.87%w/w of gadolinium per particles’weight,will allow their application for magnetic resonance imaging(MRi).Furthermore,cell culture tests on human adenocarcinomic alveolar basal epithelial cells line(A549)have shown high biocompatibility of the GDNHs and in a wide concentration range 100-1000μg/ml.

The Ain El Bey abandoned mine, in North-West Tunisia, fits into the geodynamic context of the European and African plate boundary. Ore deposit corresponds to veins and breccia of multiphase Cu–Fe-rich mineralization related to various hydrothermal fluid circulations. Petromineralogical studies indicate a rich mineral paragenesis with a minimum of seven mineralization phases and, at least, six pyrite generations. As is also the case for galena and native silver, native gold is observed for the first time as inclusion in quartz which opens up, thus, new perspectives for prospecting and evaluating the potential for noble metals associated with the mineralization. Scanning Electron Microscope--Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy and Transmission electron microscopy analyses show, in addition, a large incorporation of trace elements, including Ag and Au, in mineral structures such as fahlores(tetrahedrite-tennantite) and chalcopyrite ones. The mineral/mineral associations, used as geothermometers, gave estimated temperatures for the mineralizing fluids varying from 254 to 330 ℃ for phase Ⅲ, from 254 to 350 ℃ for phase Ⅳ, and from 200 to 300 ℃ for phases Ⅴ and Ⅵ. The seventh and last identified mineralization phase, marked by a deposit of native gold, reflects a drop in the mineralizing fluid’s temperature(ible with boiling conditions. Such results open up perspectives for the development of precious metal research and the revaluation of the Cu–Fe ore deposit at the Ain El Bey abandoned mine, as well as at the surrounding areas fitting in the geodynamic framework of the Africa-Europe plate boundary.

The paper describes the experiments conducted to create shape controllable preparations of submicronic cad- mium tetrazole-based MOFs. in order to prepare the submicron sized blocks and tubes of bis[5-（2-pyridyltetrazo- lato）]diaquacadmium（ii） [（2-PTZ）2Cd（H20）2] MOFs both solvothermal and microwave augmented reaction proce- dures have been followed. Cadmium nitrate tetrahydrate, cyanopyridine and sodium azide were used as reactants in both the conditions without any surfactants or modulators. Subsequently, iR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray crystallographic studies were performed on the prepared MOFs. Examinations using scanning electron microscopy and X-ray powder diffraction of the products made by the microwave method showed formation of bundles of reg- ular submicrotubes, as opposed to the submicron-sized irregular blocks of the Cd-MOF obtained through the sol- vothermal method. The fluorescence peak of the sub-microtube MOF was found at 460 nm while the irregu- lar-blocks emitted at 442 nm indicating a red shift for the former. in addition, the relative intensity of the peak at 460 nm was higher in the former, indicating a decrease in the crystallite size. Band gaps of the MOFs calculated by using the Tauc plots were 2.87 and 2.73 eV, respectively. Their photocatalytic performances using methylene blue under UV-vis irradiation have been investigated.

The risk of both severe and frequent injury associated with active pursuits in mountain areas is acknowledged. This phenomenon is all the most relevant to investigate in France that there is a growing enthusiasm for outdoor sports and recreation. This paper focuses on the social-demographic and sporting profiles of accident victims. Our intent is to better understand who is specifically at risk, while practicing mountain recreation, in the French mountains. Such identification doubtlessly constitutes an important asset in order to enhance prevention. Three critical activities are notably tackled, among some others: hiking, a widespread activity that exposes many practitioners to hazardous settings; mountaineering and ski touring, supposedly entailing the most severe *** order to align the information collected, then provide estimations based on the reasoned crossing of these secondary data, we consulted and summarised all the databases that we knew of on the French territory: rescue team intervention reports, aggregated statistics from the sports ministry, sporting federation accident declarations, avalanche experts statistics, mountain guides union accident/incident reports, healthcare facilities admissions, etc. Only the sources consideredto be the most reliable and representative were used, owing to the number of cases processed, the exhaustive nature of data collection, or the level of information detail available. Our method also included consultation of all the parties playing an active role in prevention, training and mountain rescue, thus ensuring a participative, co-constructive approach to the study with the people that have the best knowledge of victim profiles. Around fifty such parties were interviewed on the methods implemented, the benefits and limits of current data, and the main expectations in terms of accidentology progress, thus further enhancing the credibility of the study proposed in this paper.
