Magnesium and aluminum alloys are widely used in various industries because of their excellent pr.perties,and their reliable connection may increase application of *** compounds(IMCs)affect the joint performance of Mg/*** this study,AZ31 Mg alloy with/without a nickel(Ni)coating layer and 6061 Al alloy were joined by ultrasonic-assisted soldering with Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu(SAC)*** effects of the Ni coating layer on the microstructure and mechanical pr.perties of Mg/Al joints were systematically *** Ni coating layer had a significant effect on formation of the Mg_(2)Sn IMC and the mechanical pr.perties of Mg/Al *** blocky Mg_(2)Sn IMC formed in the Mg/SAC/Al joints without a Ni coating *** content of the Mg_(2)Sn IMC increased with increasing soldering temperature,but the joint strength *** joint without a Ni coating layer fractured at the blocky Mg_(2)Sn IMC in the solder,and the maximum shear strength was 32.2 *** pr.-plating Ni on the Mg substrate,formation of the blocky Mg_(2)Sn IMC was inhibited in the soldering temperature range 240–280℃and the joint strength ***,when the soldering temperature increased to 310℃,the blocky Mg_(2)Sn IMC pr.cipitated again in the *** electron microscopy showed that some nano-sized Mg_(2)Sn IMC and the(Cu,Ni)_(6)Sn_(5)phase formed in the Mg(Ni)/SAC/Al joint soldered at 280℃,indicating that the Ni coating layer could no longer pr.vent diffusion of Mg into the solder when the soldering temperature was higher than 280℃.The maximum shear strength of the Mg(Ni)/SAC/Al joint was 58.2 MPa for a soldering temperature of 280℃,which was 80.7%higher than that of the Mg/SAC/Al joint,and the joint was broken at the Mg(Ni)/SAC ***-plating Ni is a feasible way to inhibit formation of IMCs when joining dissimilar metals.

Osteosarcoma(OS)is one of the most common malignant tumors in children and young *** chemotherapy and other therapies are limited by low therapeutic efficiency,severe side effects and single therapeutic function,it is of high value to develop innovative therapies for pr.cise and efficient treatment of ***,natural photo-synthetic microalgae(***,CV)were utilized as carriers for the chemotherapeutic agent doxorubicin(DOX)to create a multifunctional therapeutic platform(CV@DOX)for the photo-modulation of the tumor microenvi-ronment(TME)and synergistic chemo-photodynamic therapy of ***@DOX exhibited rapid drug release behavior in the acidic TME,impr.ving the efficiency of chemotherapy against tumors and reducing side effects on other normal *** 650 nm laser irradiation,CV@DOX demonstrated the ability to effectively generate oxygen to alleviate tumor hypoxia and utilize the photosensitizing pr.perties of chlorophyll in CV to pr.duce an increased amount of reactive oxygen species(ROS),thereby enhancing photodynamic therapy(PDT).CV@DOX-mediated synergistic chemo-photodynamic therapy demonstrated efficacy in halting tumor pr.gression in an orthotopic osteosarcoma mouse model by pr.moting tumor cell apoptosis,inhibiting tumor pr.liferation and ***,chlorophyll-assisted fluorescence imaging enabled monitoring of the distribution of CV@DOX in osteosarcoma after ***,CV@DOX did not cause significant hematological and tissue toxicity,and pr.vented DOX-induced cardiotoxicity,showing good in vivo ***,this work pr.sents a novel TME-responsive and TME-modulating platform for imaging-guided multimodal osteosar-coma treatment.

An integrated MINLP model for multi-party coordination in downstream oil supply chain

Ferroptosis,a unique modality of cell death with mechanistic and morphological differences from other cell death modes,plays a pivotal role in regulating tumorigenesis and offers a new opportunity for modulating anticancer drug *** epigenetic modifications and posttranslational modifications(PTMs)pr.mote anticancer drug resistance,cancer pr.gression,and *** studies indicate that epigenetic modifications can transcriptionally and translationally determine cancer cell vulnerability to ferroptosis and that ferroptosis functions as a driver in nervous system diseases(NSDs),cardiovascular diseases(CVDs),liver diseases,lung diseases,and kidney *** this review,we first summarize the core molecular mechanisms of ***,the roles of epigenetic pr.cesses,including histone PTMs,DNA methylation,and noncoding RNA regulation and PTMs,such as phosphorylation,ubiquitination,SUMOylation,acetylation,methylation,and ADP-ribosylation,are concisely *** roles of epigenetic modifications and PTMs in ferroptosis regulation in the genesis of diseases,including cancers,NSD,CVDs,liver diseases,lung diseases,and kidney diseases,as well as the application of epigenetic and PTM modulators in the therapy of these diseases,are then discussed in *** the mechanisms of ferroptosis regulation mediated by epigenetic modifications and PTMs in cancer and other diseases will facilitate the development of pr.mising combination therapeutic regimens containing epigenetic or PTM-targeting agents and ferroptosis inducers that can be used to overcome chemotherapeutic resistance in cancer and could be used to pr.vent other *** addition,these mechanisms highlight potential therapeutic appr.aches to overcome chemoresistance in cancer or halt the genesis of other diseases.

Magnetic Fields Reduce Apoptosis by Suppr.ssing Phase Separation of Tau-441

The biological effects of magnetic fields(MFs)have been a controversial ***,in recent years,there has been increasing evidence that MFs do affect biological ***,the physical mechanism remains ***,we show that MFs(16 T)reduce apoptosis in cell lines by inhibiting liquid–liquid phase separation(LLPS)of Tau-441,suggesting that the MF effect on LLPS may be one of the mechanisms for understanding the“mysterious”magnetobiological *** LLPS of Tau-441 occurred in the cytoplasm after induction with *** phase-separated droplets of Tau-441 recruited hexokinase(HK),resulting in a decrease in the amount of free HK in the *** cells,HK and Bax compete to bind to the voltage-dependent anion channel(VDAC I)on the mitochondrial membrane.A decrease in the number of free HK molecules increased the chance of Bax binding to VDAC I,leading to increased Bax-mediated *** the pr.sence of a static MF,LLPS was marked inhibited and HK recruitment was reduced,resulting in an increased pr.bability of HK binding to VDAC I and a decreased pr.bability of Bax binding to VDAC I,thus reducing Bax-mediated *** findings revealed a new physical mechanism for understanding magnetobiological effects from the perspective of *** addition,these results show the potential applications of physical environments,such as MFs in this study,in the treatment of LLPS-related diseases.

Electrolyte dependence for the electrochemical decarboxylation of medium-chain fatty acids (n-octanoic acid) into fuel on Pt electrode

The deoxygenation of organic acids, important biomass feedstocks and derivatives, to synthesize hydrocarbon pr.ducts under mild electrochemical conditions, holds significant importance for the pr.duction of carbon-neutral biofuels. There is still limited research on the influential factors of the electrochemical decarboxylation reaction of medium-chain fatty acids. In this study, n-octanoic acid (OA) was chosen as the research subject to investigate the electrochemical decarboxylation behavior of OA on a platinum electrode, focusing on the influence of different alkali metal cations (Li^(+), Na^(+), K^(+)), common anions (SO^(4)^(2−), Cl^(−)), and electrolyte pH. It was found that KOH as an electrolyte exhibited the best performance for OA. Possibly, the larger size of K^(+) increased the alkalinity of the electrode surface, facilitating OA depr.tonation. LiOH electrolyte reduced the solubility of OA, thereby inhibiting the decarboxylation reaction. SO^(4)^(2−) exhibited a weak pr.moting effect on the decarboxylation reaction of OA, while Cl^(−) showed no adverse effect although Cl^(−) may adsorb on the electrode surface. Furthermore, unlike short-chain fatty acids, medium-chain OA can only achieve efficient decarboxylation under alkaline conditions due to its solubility pr.perties. This study pr.vides references and foundations for future efforts to enhance the efficiency of electrochemical decarboxylation synthesis of hydrocarbon biofuels from medium-chain fatty acids.
