The starting point of this research is the urban model promoted by the United Nations through the Sustainable development Goals(SDGs).The importance of public spaces is especially highlighted in Goal 11.7:“provide universal access to safe,inclusive,and accessible,green,and public spaces.”The quality of public spaces can be properly assessed by reconsidering the quality indicators and investigating their development potential,which is the main focus of our *** study is based on a theoretical and methodological reflection on the quality of public space,considering the contributions of some contemporary urban traditions and a few recent *** this perspective,a variety of public space projects developed in the European sphere have been selected and *** quality parameters identified in this initial analysis were then applied to the analysis of nine representative case studies in three Spanish cities(Madrid,Barcelona,and zaragoza).The main goal is to propose a methodology that helps to evaluate the quality of those public spaces and determine its relationship with the safety,accessibility,and inclusiveness conditions they offer.

This work presents a short and very efficient method to produce high performance textured Ca_3Co_4O_9 thermoelectric materials through initial powders modification. Microstructure has shown good grain orientation, and low porosity while slightly lower grain sizes were obtained in samples prepared from attrition milled powders. All samples show the high density of around 96% of the theoretical *** similar characteristics are reflected in, approximately,the same electrical resistivity and Seebeck coefficient values for both types of samples. However, in spite of similar power factor(PF) at low temperatures, it is slightly higher at high temperature for the attrition milled samples. On the other hand, the processing time reduction(from 38 to 2 h) when using attrition milled precursors, leads to lower mechanical properties in these samples. All these data clearly point out to the similar characteristics of both kinds of samples, with a drastic processing time decrease when using attrition milled precursors, which is of the main economic importance when considering their industrial production.

Fractal interpolation is a modern technique to fit and analyze scientific *** develop a new class of fractal interpolation functions which converge to a data generating(original)function for any choice of the scaling ***,our method offers an alternative to the existing fractal interpolation functions(FIFs).We construct a sequence of-FIFs using a suitable sequence of iterated function systems(IFSs).Without imposing any condition on the scaling vector,we establish constrained interpolation by using fractal *** particular,the constrained interpolation discussed herein includes a method to obtain fractal functions that preserve positivity inherent in the given *** existence of Cr--FIFs is *** identify suitable conditions on the associated scaling factors so that-FIFs preserve r-convexity in addition to the Cr-smoothness of original function.

A singularly perturbed linear convection-diffusion problem for heat transfer in two dimensions with a parabolic boundary layer is solved numerically The numerical method consists of a special piecewise uniform mesh condensing in a neighbourhood of the parabolic layer and a standard finite difference operator satisfying a discrete maximum principle. The numerical computations demonstrate numerically that the method is epsilon-uniform in the sense that the Fate of convergence and error constant of the method are independent of the singular perturbation parameter epsilon. This means that no matter how small the singular perturbation parameter epsilon is, the numerical method produces solutions with guaranteed accuracy depending solely on the number of mesh points used.
