Young male rats were orally intubated with podophyllotoxin: Group I, control animals, orally fed with vehicle only; Group Ⅱ, fed with an initial dose of 5 ***-1 b.w., followed by a daily dose of 1.67 mg-kg-1 b.w. for 7d. Group III, fed with an initial dose of 15 ***-1 b.w., followed by a daily dose of 5 ***-1 b.w. for 7d. All animals were sacrificed 72 h after the last dosing.Histopathological examination revealed dose-related fatty change of the liver, atrophy andi degenerative changes of the intestinal epithelial linings and testicular seminiferous tubules. depletion of the pancreatic acinar cell granules was also apparent in the Group III animals. No pathology, however, was observed in the kidneys. The present study demonstrated for the first time degenerative changes in the liver, intestine, testis, and pancreas of animals ingested podophyllotoxin. These pathological changes correlate well with the clinical signs/symptoms of abnormal liver function, abdominal pain and diarrhea, and reduced serum amylase in humans poisonded by podophyllum. Inhibition of protein synthesis and mitosis (disruption of microtubules) are believed to be the underlying mechanisms of these changes observed in the animals intoxicated by. podophyllotoxin.

despite the maturity of ensemble numerical weather prediction(NWP),the resulting forecasts are still,more often than not,*** such,forecast calibration tools have become *** those tools,quantile regression(QR)is highly competitive in terms of both flexibility and predictive ***,a long-standing problem of QR is quantile crossing,which greatly limits the interpretability of QR-calibrated *** this point,this study proposes a non-crossing quantile regression neural network(NCQRNN),for calibrating ensemble NWP forecasts into a set of reliable quantile forecasts without *** overarching design principle of NCQRNN is to add on top of the conventional QRNN structure another hidden layer,which imposes a non-decreasing mapping between the combined output from nodes of the last hidden layer to the nodes of the output layer,through a triangular weight matrix with positive *** empirical part of the work considers a solar irradiance case study,in which four years of ensemble irradiance forecasts at seven locations,issued by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts,are calibrated via NCQRNN,as well as via an eclectic mix of benchmarking models,ranging from the naïve climatology to the state-of-the-art deep-learning and other non-crossing *** and stringent forecast verification suggests that the forecasts post-processed via NCQRNN attain the maximum sharpness subject to calibration,amongst all ***,the proposed conception to resolve quantile crossing is remarkably simple yet general,and thus has broad applicability as it can be integrated with many shallow-and deep-learning-based neural networks.

In order to measure controllability of vertical instability in EAST,the calculation of model-based vertical growth rate,called rt-gamma,has been successfully carried out in real *** numerical computing method is adapted from rigid plasma response model in TokSys,which is a widely-used analysis tool for tokamak devices in Matlab environment,but the code is rewritten by taking advantage of GPU parallel computing capability to accelerate the *** calculation of rt-gamma is validated by comparing it with the corresponding result generated by TokSys for totally 3508 *** is shown that the average absolute value of relative errors is about 0.85%.In addition,the calculation program of rt-gamma has been successfully applied during 2019 EAST *** comparison with experimental results is discussed in this *** real-time calculation tool is well able to calculate model-based vertical growth rate,which is convenient for fast and continuous evaluations of EAST control system stability performances.

Objective To prepare antibodies against pORF5 plasmid protein of Chlamydia trachomatis develop double-antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays （DAS-ELISAs） for detection of genital C. trachomatis infections. and the Methods The pORF5 protein was expressed in Escherichia coil and used to immunize BALB/c mice and New Zealand rabbits to produce monoclonal antibodies （mAbs） and polyclonal antibody （pAb） for DAS-ELISAs. Clinical samples from 186 urogenital infection patients （groups I） and 62 healthy donors （groups II） were detected in parallel by the DAS-ELISAs developed in this study and by IdeIA PCE commercial ELISA. Results Two hybridoma cell lines, named 2H4 and 4E6, stably secreting specific mAbs against pORF5 were obtained. The mAb 2H4 was recognized by 32 （17.20%, positive recognition rate） and 25 （13.44%）, mAb 2H4 by 0 （0%） and 2 （3.22%） samples from groups I and II, respectively. The sensitivities of mAbs 2H4 and 4E6 were 92.11% and 77.78% and the specificities were 100% and 96.88%, respectively in relation to the IdeIA PCE commercial ELISA. The sensitivities of detection for the DAS-ELISAs were 10 ng/mL （based on 2H4） and 18 ng/mL （based on 4E6）. Conclusion Two DAS-ELISAs were developed in this study that provided a feasible and effective assay that could be considered alternative tools for the serodiagnosis of C. trachomatis infection.

In 2021,EAST realized a steady-state long pulse with a duration over 100 s and a core electron temperature over 10 *** is an integrated operation that resolves several key issues,including active control of wall conditioning,long-lasting fully noninductive current and divertor heat/particle *** fully noninductive current is driven by pure radio frequency(RF)waves with a lower hybrid current drive power of 2.5 MW and electron cyclotron resonance heating of 1.4 *** is an excellent experimental platform on the timescale of hundreds of seconds for studying multiscale instabilities,electron-dominant transport and particle recycling(plasma-wall interactions)under weak collisionality.
