The problem of capacity shortage in some airports needs to be dealt with sustainable solutions including a more efficient use of the existing runway slots at the airports. The Collaborative Decision Making（CDM） is an important approach applied to Air Traffic Management（ATM）to achieve this efficient use of the slots allocation. Using the Matching approach for two-sided markets of Game theory, the Top Trading Cycle CDM（TTC-CDM） algorithm developed in this research is an extension of the CDM approach aggregating the Ground Delay Program（GDP）of the air sector. The paper compared the developed TTC-CDM model to the existing models such as the conventional Compression algorithm in CDM, the Trade Cycle algorithm and the Deferred Acceptance CDM（DA-CDM） model to evaluate the performance of the proposed model. Through a case study, the results show the effective application of TTC-CDM model to slot allocation in ATM and also presents the advantage of considering the preferences of airport managers beside ATC controllers and airlines in the decision processing.

The three-dimensional (3D) pairing process of coherent structures in a plane mixing layer was simulated numerically with the pseudo-spectral method. The behaviors of spanwise cup-shaped vortices, streamwise rib-shaped vortices and quadrupoles were obtained in terms of their iso-surfaces. The results show that three-dimensional structures are strongly influenced by the initial amplitude of the 3D disturbance, and that in most cases the local pairing finishes in a roughly two-dimensional manner. In pairing region, the streamwise vortices are chaotic after pairing due to the breakdown of the engulfed ribs and especially the subsequent breakdown of the quadrupoles. The surviving ribs extend to the top (or bottom) of the paired vortices under the stretch of them. In addition, it is revealed that three dimensional vortices pairing can enhance the mixing of fluid. Finally, some patterns of numerical flow visualization are presented by computing the passive scalar.

In this paper,the sharing schemes of multicast in survivable Wavelength-Division Multi-plexed(WDM) networks are studied and the concept of Shared Risk Link Group(SRLG) is *** the network resources are shared by the backup paths,the sharing way is possible to make the backup paths *** selfishness leads the redundant hops of the backup route and a large number of primary lightpaths to share one backup *** sharing schemes,especially,the self-sharing and cross-sharing,are investigated to avoid the selfishness when computing the backup *** order to decrease the selfishness of the backup paths,it is important to make the sharing links fair to be *** is a trade-off between the self-sharing and cross-sharing,which is adjusted through simulation to adapt the sharing degree of each sharing scheme and save the network resources.

All ABR congestion control algorithms reported are designed to achieve max-min fairness. In this paper, a new algorithm named dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm is presented. Under the same framework, the algorithm can achieve fairness under several given criteria. Simulation result shows that the new algorithm works well under various network configurations, various traffic classes, and scale well to LANs or WANs.

transboundary water, more competitive utilization and uncertain availability under the globalization trend, the issue of its apportionment which directly impacts national benefits of each riparian state is becoming one of the important topics in the world. Water is scarce in China, the most important upstream state in Asia, and this task has to be thought over in the coming future. Based on ＂International Freshwater Treaties Database＂（1820-2007） by Oregon State University, and publications and reports on transboundary water utilization and management since 1999, 28 indicators of water apportionment adopted in 49 international treaties and cases in 1864-2002 are divided into 6 types, the spatial and temporal characteristics of the adopted indicators are analyzed in order to find the key indicator（s） of transboundary water apportionment. The major results include： the major adopted indicators, have significant differences among 5 regions/continents, the indicators at rank first and second place in the developed region （North America and Europe） according to the adopted times are ＂keeping minimum water flow＂ and ＂mean annual runoff＂, but in the developing region （Asia, Africa and South America）, the ranking order of the above two indicators is reversed; the major adopted indicators in the watersheds with insufficient water are ＂mean annual runoff＂ and ＂keeping minimum water flow＂, the ones in the watersheds with sufficient water are ＂keeping minimum water flow＂ and ＂maximum water intake＂; the international treaties signed from the first phase to the fourth phase, the developing process shows a progress of ＂fewer-increasing a lot-decreasing rapidly-equation basically＂, the regional distribution of the treaties shifts mainly from the developed region to the developing one, especially to Asia and Africa; the major adopted indicators shifts from ＂keeping minimum water flow＂ and ＂mean annual runoff＂ in 1864-1945, to ＂keeping minimum water flow＂ and ＂maximum water intake＂ i

A new scheduling algorithm, which aims to provide proportional and controllable QoS (Quality of Service) in terms of burst loss probability for OBS (Optical Burst Switching) networks, is proposed on the ba- sis of a survey of QoS schemes in current OBS networks. With simulations, performance analysis and com- parisons are carried out in detail. The results show that, in the proposed scheme, burst loss probabilities are proportional to the given factors and the control of QoS performance can be achieved with better performance. This scheme will be beneficial to the OBS network management and the tariff policy making.

Road geometric design data are a vital input for diverse transportation studies. This information is usually obtained from the road design project. However, these are not always available and the as-built course of the road may diverge considerably from its projected one, rendering subsequent studies inaccurate or impossible. Moreover, the systematic acquisition of this data for the entire road network of a country or even a state represents a very challenging and laborious task. This study＇s goal was the extraction of geometric design data for the paved segments of the Brazilian federal highway network, containing more than 47,000 km of highways. It presents the details of the method＇s adoption process, the particularities of its application to the dataset and the obtained geometric design information. Additionally, it provides a first overview of the Brazilian federal highway network composition （curves and tangents） and geometry.

The interfacial behavior of pipe joints is studied in this paper. Firstly, through nonlinear fracture mechanics, the analytical expressions of interfacial shear stress and the load- displacement relationship at loaded end of pipe joints under torsion loads are obtained. Thus the shear stress propagation and the debonding process of the whole interface for different bond lengths can be predicted. Secondly, through the analytical solutions, the influences of different bond lengths on the load-displacement curve and the ultimate load are studied. The stress trans- fer mechanism, the interface crack propagation and the ductility behavior of the joints can be explained.

A novel structure for ultra long span optical transmission systems is *** the scheme,the inverse fast Fourier trans form（IFFT） is used as a way of inverse multiplexing.A 40-Gb/s（total effective capacity） system based on the proposed scheme is simulated to evaluate its performance without consideration for dispersion *** results indicate that the proposed system can tolerate distortion caused by chromatic dispersion effectively after long distance transmission.

In this study,a novel waterborne polyurethane(WPU)with azobenzene-containing(azo-containing)pendant groups was synthesized by isophorone diisocyanate,long-chain diol of polycaprolactone,2-ethyl-2-methyl-butanoic acid(2,2-dimethylolpropionic acid),10-(4-(phenyldiazenyl)phenoxy)decyl-3-hydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)-2-methylpropanoate,and N,N-diethyl-ethanamine(triethylamine).Moreover,the influence of ultraviolet and visible(UV-Vis)light irradiation on the viscoelasticity of azo-containing WPU film in terms of the reversible trans-cis photoisomerization of azo-containing pendant groups was investigated by UV-Vis light spectroscopy,atomic force microscopy,and dynamic thermomechanical *** results revealed that the adhesion of azo-containing WPU with single crystal silicon atomic force microscope probe was about 13 n N when irradiated by 450 nm Vis light for 60 s at 25°***,the adhesion increased to 82 n N after irradiation with 365 nm UV light for 60 s at 25°*** addition,the azo-containing WPU presented a photo-induced reversible transition of tensile modulus and tanδin the range from about 2 MPa to 22 MPa and 6000 to 0.35 with UV-Vis light cyclic irradiation for 120 s at 25°C,respectively.
