Objective:To observe the effect of Jiuyi powder and its active components on the bacterial culture and macrophage phenotypic factors of the chronic refractory wound rat model,and to explore its mechanism of removing decay and promoting muscle ***:SD rats were divided into control group,Jiuyi powder group,Shengdan group,and calcined gypsum group,with 8 rats in each ***-infected skin lesions and wounds were used to build a model of chronic and difficult-to-heal wounds in *** the model was formed,the control group was treated with daily routine nitrofural disinfection and replaced with sterile *** the basis of the control group,quantitative Jiuyi powder,Shengdan powder,and calcined gypsum powder were used for dressing change,once a day for 7 consecutive *** and after the last administration,collect rat wound secretions for bacterial culture,inducible monoxide nitrogen synthase *** the same time,after the last administration,the rat wound tissue was excised for histopathology and immunofluorescence double staining to label macrophages and their M1 ***:After the last dressing change,the wound healing of Jiuyi powder group was better than the other groups,and the wound healing rate of each group had significant difference(P<0.05).The histomology showed that the inflammation of Jiuyi powder group was controlled and had a healing *** the last drug change,the contents of TNF-α,IL-6 and iNOS in serum of all groups decreased,and the contents of IL-6,TNF-αand iNOS in serum of Jiuyi powder group decreased significantly before and after medication(P<0.05).There was statistical significance in serum IL-6 content between calcined gypsum group and Shengdan group before and after medication(P<0.05).In addition,the results showed that the contents of IL-6 and iNOS in serum of Jiuyi powder group were statistically different from those of the control group(P<0.05).Tissue immunofluorescence double staining showed that the

OBJECTIVE:To investigate efficacy of Lidan Tang(LDT)on gallstone induced by high fat diet in mice,and to study its underlying ***:Mice were fed with high fat diet every day and treated with LDT(9.01 times of human clinic dosage).Mice were randomly divided into 6 groups as control group,gallstone model group(high-fat diet),positive control ursodeoxycholic acid(UDCA)group(80 mg·kg^-1·d^-1,i.g.),LDT low dose group(6 kg/d,i.g.),LDT middle dose group(12 kg/d,i.g.),and LDT high dose group(24 kg/d,i.g.).The whole experiment was lasted for 4 *** levels of ALT,AST,LDH,CHO,HDL-C and LDL-C in serum were measured,the pathological sections were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining,the activities of antioxidant enzymes were measured by kits,and the proteins related to oxidative stress and lipid transport were detected by Western blot ***:LDT could significantly reduce the contents of ALT and AST in serum and improve the pathological tissue of *** could significantly reduce the content of MDA and LPO,and increase the level of GSH and GSH-PX in liver *** data of Western blot showed that LDT had antioxidant effect promoting Keap1/Nrf2 pathway and regulated the process of lipid transport,which was statistically *** addition,LDT treatment inhibited the expression of ATP-binding cassette transports ABCG5/8 in liver,and reduced cholesterol transport from the hepatocytes to the ***:LDT has protective effect on gallstones induced by high fat diet in mice,which might be based on the protective effect on liver,including enhancing the antioxidant capacity of liver and reducing the production of lipid peroxides.

Effects of Shengmai Yin(生脉饮)on pulmonary and cardiac function in coronavirus disease 2019 convalescent patients with cardiopulmonary symptoms:a randomized,double blind,multicenter control trial

Target ligand modification strategy is widely used in nano drug delivery system. In this study, transferrin was used as a target ligand to enhance cervival cancer targeting treatment. We constructed transferrin-modified coix seed oil-tripterine microemulsions（Tf-CT-MEs） and investigated the antitumor efficacy and mechanisms. Tf-CT-MEs was preparaed successfully by "one-step emulsion" method and classical condensation with EDC/NHS. Tf-CT-MEs maintained good stability in vitro. The human cervical cancer HeLa cells were used as a model. The uptake of FITC-labeled Tf-CT-MEs on HeLa cells was qualitatively and quantitatively examined by fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry, respectively. The growth inhibitory effect of Tf-CT-MEs on HeLa cells was examined by MTT assay. Flow cytometry was used to quantitatively investigate the apoptosis of HeLa cells induced by Tf-CT-MEs. The results showed that Tf-CT-MEs could significantly increase the uptake of HeLa cells. Meanwhile, Tf-CT-MEs had the enhanced inhibitory effect on HeLa cell proliferation and showed an increasing induction of cell apoptosis within 8 h. We also established a HeLa xenograft tumor mouse model to explore the tumor targeting, pharmacodynamics, anticancer mechanisms of Tf-CT-MEs, evaluated the safety of the preparation. The results showed that Tf-CT-MEs had good tumor targeting and antitumor effects in vivo. Anticancer mechanisms of Tf-CT-MEs may be related to inhibiting tumor cells proliferation, anti-angiogenesis and regulating some cytokine levels. The safety of Tf-CT-MEs was controllable. In short, Tf-CT-MEs showed excellent synergistic anti-tumor advantages, providing a new breakthrough for targeting treatment of cervical cancer.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Shengmai Yin(生脉饮,SMY)on visual analogue scale(VAS)for cardiopulmonary symptoms in coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)convalescent ***:In this randomized,double blind and multicenter controlled trial,a total of 200 COVID-19 convalescent patients who with cardiopulmonary symptoms were enrolled from three medical centers in Hubei,*** patients were randomized divided into trial group and the control group,100 patients in each one,SMY and its placebo were applied to respectively,for two *** of clinical symptoms included shortness of breath,hidrosis,chest distress,palpitation,and dry cough was performed at 0,1,2 *** in VAS of 30%or more was defined as effective,and a reduction in VAS of 0 was defined as ***:A total of 192 completed the *** VAS of TCM symptoms showed there was no difference in baseline between the two *** VAS in both groups was down-regulated,and there was no significant difference in VAS and cure rates at the first and second week between the two *** was no significant difference in breath,hidrosis,palpitation,and dry cough between the two groups but SMY treatment for two weeks has remarkable therapeutic effects in chest distress than ***:SMY could effectively ameliorate the symptoms of chest distress,and improve the quality of life of the COVID-19 convalescent patients.

BACKGROUND: Ideal model of poststroke depression (PSD) may be induced in rats guided by the theoretical evidence that 'primary endogenous mechanism' and 'reactivity mechanism' theories for PSD in human being. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the feasibility of comprehensive methods to induce PSD models in rats. DESIGN: A randomized controlled animal trial. SETTING: Department of Neurology, Affiliated hospital of Chengdu University of traditional chinese medicine. MATERIALS: Male SD rats of SPF degree, weighing 350-500 g, were provided by the experimental animal center of Chengdu University of traditional chinese medicine. The rats were raised for 1 week adaptively, then screened behaviorally by open-field test and passive avoidance test. Forty-five rats with close scores were randomly divided into normal control group (n =10), simple stroke group (n =10), stress group (n =10) and PSD group (n =15). METHODS: The experiments were carried out in the laboratory of Chengdu University of traditional chinese medicine from July 2002 to February 2003. ① Rat models of focal cerebral ischemia were induced by thread embolization, then treated with separate raising and unpredictable stress to induce PSD models. ②The neurologic deficit was evaluated by Longa 5-grade standard (the higher the score, the severer the neurologic deficit) and horizontal round rod test (normal rat could stay on it for at least 3 minutes). ③ The behavioral changes of PSD rats were evaluated by the saccharin water test, open-field text and passive avoidance test, including the changes of interest, spontaneous and exploratory activities, etc. ④ The levels of monoamine neurotransmitters, including norepinephrine (NE), serotonin (5-HT) and dopamine, in brain were determined using fluorospectrophotometry. Objective： To analyze and summarize disease and syndromes which can be treated by tuina therapy. Methods： Using literature researching methods to analyze and summarize diseases and symptoms treated clinically by tuina in order to observe the therapeutic effects from chinese Biomedicine Optical Disk Database （CBM） from 1978 to 2008. The frequency （number） of reported cases for each disease and syndrome was calculated. Results： The list of diseases for tuina therapy included 365 kinds of 16 classifications, including 255 Western medicine diseases, 57 symptoms of Western medicine and 53 traditional chinese medicine （TCM） syndromes. Conclusion： Tuina is an effective and widely used therapy in the clinic.
