Anisotropic metal–insulator transition in strained VO_(2)(B) single crystal

Mechanical strain can induce noteworthy structural and electronic changes in vanadium dioxide, imparting substantial scientific importance to both the exploration of phase transitions and the development of potential technological applications. Unlike the traditional rutile(R) phase, bronze-phase vanadium dioxide [VO_(2)(B)] exhibits an in-plane anisotropic structure. When subjected to stretching along distinct crystallographic axes, VO_(2)(B) may further manifest the axial dependence in lattice–electron interactions, which is beneficial for gaining insights into the anisotropy of electronic ***, we report an anisotropic room-temperature metal–insulator transition in single-crystal VO_(2)(B) by applying in-situ uniaxial tensile strain. This material exhibits significantly different electromechanical responses along two anisotropic *** reveal that such an anisotropic electromechanical response mainly arises from the preferential arrangement of a straininduced unidirectional stripe state in the conductive channel. This insulating stripe state could be attributed to the in-plane dimerization within the distorted zigzag chains of vanadium atoms, evidenced by strain-modulated Raman spectra. Our work may open up a promising avenue for exploiting the anisotropy of metal–insulator transition in vanadium dioxide for potential technological applications.

Preventing formation of intermetallic compounds in ultrasonic-assisted Sn soldering of Mg/Al alloys through pre-plating a Ni coating layer on the Mg substrate

Magnesium and aluminum alloys are widely used in various industries because of their excellent properties,and their reliable connection may increase application of *** compounds(IMCs)affect the joint performance of Mg/*** this study,AZ31 Mg alloy with/without a nickel(Ni)coating layer and 6061 Al alloy were joined by ultrasonic-assisted soldering with Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu(SAC)*** effects of the Ni coating layer on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg/Al joints were systematically *** Ni coating layer had a significant effect on formation of the Mg_(2)Sn IMC and the mechanical properties of Mg/Al *** blocky Mg_(2)Sn IMC formed in the Mg/SAC/Al joints without a Ni coating *** content of the Mg_(2)Sn IMC increased with increasing soldering temperature,but the joint strength *** joint without a Ni coating layer fractured at the blocky Mg_(2)Sn IMC in the solder,and the maximum shear strength was 32.2 *** pre-plating Ni on the Mg substrate,formation of the blocky Mg_(2)Sn IMC was inhibited in the soldering temperature range 240–280℃and the joint strength ***,when the soldering temperature increased to 310℃,the blocky Mg_(2)Sn IMC precipitated again in the *** electron microscopy showed that some nano-sized Mg_(2)Sn IMC and the(Cu,Ni)_(6)Sn_(5)phase formed in the Mg(Ni)/SAC/Al joint soldered at 280℃,indicating that the Ni coating layer could no longer prevent diffusion of Mg into the solder when the soldering temperature was higher than 280℃.The maximum shear strength of the Mg(Ni)/SAC/Al joint was 58.2 MPa for a soldering temperature of 280℃,which was 80.7%higher than that of the Mg/SAC/Al joint,and the joint was broken at the Mg(Ni)/SAC ***-plating Ni is a feasible way to inhibit formation of IMCs when joining dissimilar metals.

Background:Impairments in hamstring strength,flexibility,and morphology have been associated with altered knee biomechanics,pain,and *** the presence of these impairments in individuals with gradual-onset knee disorders is important and may indicate targets for assessment and *** systematic review aimed to synthesize the literature to determine the presence of impairments in hamstring strength,flexibility,and morphology in individuals with gradual-onset knee ***:Five databases(MEDLINE,Embase,CINAHL,SPORTDiscus,and Web of Science)were searched from inception to September *** studies comparing hamstring outcomes(e.g.,strength,flexibility,and/or morphology)between individuals with gradual-onset knee disorders and their unaffected limbs or pain-free controls were ***-analyses for each knee disorder were ***-level certainty was assessed using the Grading of Recommendations Assessment,Development,and Evaluation,and evidence gap maps were ***:Seventy-nine studies across 4 different gradual-onset knee disorders(i.e.,knee osteoarthritis(OA),patellofemoral pain(PFP),chondromalacia patellae,and patellar tendinopathy)were *** with knee OA presented with reduced hamstring strength compared to pain-free controls during isometric(standard mean difference(SMD)=-0.76,95%confidence interval(95%CI):-1.32 to-0.21)and concentric contractions(SMD=-0.97,95%CI:-1.49 to-0.45).Individuals with PFP presented with reduced hamstring strength compared to painfree controls during isometric(SMD=-0.48,95%CI:-0.82 to-0.14),concentric(SMD=-1.07,95%CI:-2.08 to-0.06),and eccentric contractions(SMD=-0.59,95%CI:-0.97 to-0.21).No differences were observed in individuals with patellar *** with PFP presented with reduced hamstring flexibility when compared to pain-free controls(SMD=-0.76,95%CI:-1.15 to-0.36).Evidence gap maps identified insufficient evidence for chondromalacia patel

This paper studies a strongly convergent inertial forward-backward-forward algorithm for the variational inequality problem in Hilbert *** our convergence analysis,we do not assume the on-line rule of the inertial parameters and the iterates,which have been assumed by several authors whenever a strongly convergent algorithm with an inertial extrapolation step is proposed for a variational inequality ***,our proof arguments are different from what is obtainable in the relevant ***,we give numerical tests to confirm the theoretical analysis and show that our proposed algorithm is superior to related ones in the literature.

Manipulator tracking technology based on FSRUKF

Aiming at the shortcoming that the traditional industrial manipulator using off-line programming cannot change along with the change of external environment,the key technologies such as machine vision and manipulator control are studied,and a complete manipulator vision tracking system is ***,Denavit-Hartenberg(D-H)parameters method is used to construct the model of the manipulator and analyze the forward and inverse kinematics equations of the *** the same time,a binocular camera is used to obtain the threedimensional position of the ***,in order to make the manipulator track the target more accurately,the fuzzy adaptive square root unscented Kalman filter(FSRUKF)is proposed to estimate the target ***,the manipulator tracking system is built by using the position-based visual *** simulation experiments show that FSRUKF converges faster and with less error than the square root unscented Kalman filter(SRUKF),which meets the application requirements of the manipulator tracking system,and basically meets the application requirements of the manipulator tracking system in the practical experiments.

Increased long-distance and homo-trans interactions related to H3K27me3 in Arabidopsis hybrids

In plants,the genome structure of hybrids changes compared with their parents,but the effects of these changes in hybrids remain *** reciprocal crosses between Col×C24 and C24×Col in Arabidopsis using high-throughput chromosome conformation capture assay(Hi-C)analysis,we found that hybrid three-dimensional(3D)chromatin organization had more long-distance interactions relative to parents,and this was mainly located in promoter regions and enriched in genes with heterosis-related *** interactions between euchromatin and heterochromatin were increased,and the compartment strength decreased in *** compartment domain(CD)boundaries,the distal interactions were more in hybrids than their *** the hybrids of CURLY LEAF(clf)mutants clfCol×clfC24and clfC24×clfCol,the heterosis phenotype was damaged,and the long-distance interactions in hybrids were fewer than in their parents with lower ***-seq data revealed higher levels of H3K27me3 in the region adjacent to the CD boundary and the same interactional homo-trans sites in the wild-type(WT)hybrids,which may have led to more long-distance *** addition,the differentially expressed genes(DEGs)located in the boundaries of CDs and loop regions changed obviously in WT,and the functional enrichment for DEGs was different between WT and clf in the longdistance interactions and loop *** findings may therefore propose a new epigenetic explanation of heterosis in the Arabidopsis hybrids and provide new insights into crop breeding and yield increase.

Prediction of Lubricant Physicochemical Properties Based on Gaussian Copula Data Expansion

The composition of base oils affects the performance of lubricants made from *** paper proposes a hybrid model based on gradient-boosted decision tree(GBDT)to analyze the effect of different ratios of KN4010,PAO40,and PriEco3000 component in a composite base oil system on the performance of *** study was conducted under small laboratory sample conditions,and a data expansion method using the Gaussian Copula function was proposed to improve the prediction ability of the hybrid *** study also compared four optimization algorithms,sticky mushroom algorithm(SMA),genetic algorithm(GA),whale optimization algorithm(WOA),and seagull optimization algorithm(SOA),to predict the kinematic viscosity at 40℃,kinematic viscosity at 100℃,viscosity index,and oxidation induction time performance of the *** results showed that the Gaussian Copula function data expansion method improved the prediction ability of the hybrid model in the case of small *** SOA-GBDT hybrid model had the fastest convergence speed for the samples and the best prediction effect,with determination coefficients(R^(2))for the four indicators of lubricants reaching 0.98,0.99,0.96 and 0.96,***,this model can significantly reduce the model’s prediction error and has good prediction ability.

A Local Differential Privacy Hybrid Data Clustering Iterative Algorithm for Edge Computing

As a new computing method, edge computing not only improves the computing efficiency and processing power of data, but also reduces the transmission delay of data. Due to the wide variety of edge devices and the increasing amount of terminal data, third-party data centers are unable to ensure that user privacy data *** solve these problems, this paper proposes an iterative clustering algorithm local differential privacy iterative aggregation(LDPIA) based on localized differential privacy, which implements local differential privacy (LDP). To address the problem of uncertainty in numerical types of mixed data, random perturbation is applied to the user data at the attribute category level. The server then performs clustering on the perturbed data, and density threshold and disturbance probability are introduced to update the cluster point set *** addition, a new distance calculation formula is defined in combination with attribute weights to ensure the availability of data. The experimental results show that LDPIA algorithm achieves better privacy protection and availability simultaneously.

Convergence analysis for complementary-label learning with kernel ridge regression

Complementary-label learning(CLL)aims at finding a classifier via samples with complementary *** data is considered to contain less information than ordinary-label *** transition matrix between the true label and the complementary label,and some loss functions have been developed to handle this *** this paper,we show that CLL can be transformed into ordinary classification under some mild conditions,which indicates that the complementary labels can supply enough information in most *** an example,an extensive misclassification error analysis was performed for the Kernel Ridge Regression(KRR)method applied to multiple complementary-label learning(MCLL),which demonstrates its superior performance compared to existing approaches.
