β-cells are a type of endocrine cell found in pancreatic islets that synthesize,store and release *** type 1 diabetes(T1D),T-cells of the immune system selectively destroy the insulin-producingβ-*** of these cells leads to a lifelong dependence on exogenous insulin administration for ***,there is an urgent need to identify novel therapies that stimulateβ-cell growth and induceβ-cell *** and others have shown that pancreatic ductal progenitor cells are a promising source for regeneratingβ-cells for T1D owing to their inherent differentiation *** transcriptional suppression is refractory to exocrine reaction and tightly controls the regenerative potential by the EZH2 *** the present study,we show that transient stimulation of exocrine cells,derived from juvenile and adult T1D donors to the FDAapproved EZH2 inhibitors GSK126 and Tazemetostat(Taz)influence a phenotypic shift towards aβ-like cell *** transition from repressed to permissive chromatin states are dependent on bivalent H3K27me3 and H3K4me3 chromatin *** EZH2 is fundamental toβ-cell regenerative *** pancreatic ductal cells exhibit insulin production and secretion in response to a physiological glucose challenge ex *** pre-clinical studies underscore the potential of small molecule inhibitors as novel modulators of ductal progenitor differentiation and a promising new approach for the restoration ofβ-like cell function.

Use of a flexible thermoelectric source is a feasible approach to realizing selfpowered wearable electronics and the Internet of *** thin films are promising candidates for fabricating flexible power supply,but obtaining highthermoelectric‐performance thin films remains a big *** the present work,a p‐type Bi_(x)Sb_(2−x)Te_(3)thin film is designed with a high figure of merit of 1.11 at 393 K and exceptional flexibility(less than 5%increase in resistance after 1000 cycles of bending at a radius of∼5 mm).The favorable comprehensive performance of the Bi_(x)Sb_(2−x)Te_(3)flexible thin film is due to its excellent crystallinity,optimized carrier concentration,and low elastic modulus,which have been verified by experiments and theoretical ***,a flexible device is fabricated using the prepared p‐type Bi_(x)Sb_(2−x)Te_(3)and n‐type Ag_(2)Se thin ***,an outstanding power density of∼1028μWcm^(−2)is achieved at a temperature difference of 25 *** work extends a novel concept to the fabrication of highperformance flexible thin films and devices for wearable energy harvesting.

We use the Schwinger-boson approach to study the anisotropy ferrimagnetic spin-（1/2,1） chain with bond *** on the effect of bond alternation δ,we obtain energy gap,free energy,and specific heat,*** specific heat with larger bond alternation（δ 〉 0.7） displays a peak at low *** on the effect of XXZ anisotropy parameter Δ,we present excited spectrums,free energy,and specific heat,respectively.

We use the mean-field approximation of Dyson–Maleev representation to study an XXZ Heisenberg ferrimagnetic spin chain with single-ion anisotropy. By solving the self-consistent equations with different anisotropies, λ and D respectively,the energy spectrums, internal energy, static susceptibility and specific heat are calculated. Especially, the quantum phase transition of the magnetization plateau induced by single-ion anisotropy D is obtained in the model of the ferrimagnetic spin chain by using Dyson–Maleev mean-field theory.

Based on the random phase approximation calculation in two-orbital honeycomb lattice model,we investigate the pairing symmetry of Ni-based transition-metal trichalcogenides by electron doping access to type-II van Hove singularities(vHs).We find that chiral even-parity d+id-wave(Eg)state is suppressed by odd-parity p+ip-wave(Eu)state when electron doping approaches the type-II *** type-II vHs peak in density of states(DOS)enables to strengthen the ferromagnetic fluctuation,which is responsible for triplet *** competition between antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic fluctuation results in pairing phase transition from singlet to triplet *** Ni-based transition-metal trichalcogenides provide a promising platform to unconventional superconductor emerging from electronic DOS.

We theoretically investigate the single-photon transport properties in an optical waveguide embedded with a V-type three-level atom(VTLA)based on symmetric and asymmetric couplings between the photon and the *** numerical results show that the transmission spectrum of the incident photon can be well controlled by virtue of both symmetric and asymmetric coupling interactions.A multifrequency photon attenuator is realized by controlling the asymmetric coupling ***,the influences of dissipation of the VTLA for the realistic physical system on single-photon transport properties are also analyzed.
