To the Editor: Pulmonary vein antral isolation (PVAI) is the cornerstone of catheter ablation techniques used in the treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). However, the outcomes of a PVAI-only strategy for persistent AF have proven suboptimal. The majority of patients with persistent AF may require further atrial ablation beyond PVAI. Ablation of AF drivers, a patient-tailored ablation strategy for persistent AF with a procedural endpoint of AF termination, has garnered increasing attention in recent years. We aimed to determine the electrogram (EGM) characteristics of AF drivers that can predict AF termination.

Purpose:To report a rare variant of the posterior septal artery(PSA),which supplies blood to the posterior mucosa of the contralateral nasal *** report:A 31-year-old female patient underwent suture removal 14 days after septoplasty and developed left-sided epistaxis 6 h after suture *** safely and effectively relieve the patient from epistaxis,the cauterization of the left PSA was performed under general ***,24 h after the first surgical hemostasis,the patient experienced epistaxis again in the right nasal *** have reviewed the patient's sinus computed tomography again and found a rare variant of PSA,which is the right-sided PSA passing through a bony canal in the left-sided nasal ***:The variant of PSA well explained the failure of the first hemostatic ***,we again performed a cauterization of the right-sided PSA,after which the patient recovered and no further epistaxis ***:When cauterization of PSA is used to manage posterior epistaxis,it is necessary to pay attention to the possible variation in PSA.

Cooperation among enterprises can bring overall and individual performance improvement,and a smooth coordination method is ***,due to the lack of customized coordination methods,cooperation in the downstream oil supply chain cannot be carried out *** paper intends to propose a multi-party coordination method to promote cooperation between oil shippers and pipeline operator by optimizing oil transportation,oil substitution and pipeline pricing *** integrated game-theoretic modeling and analysis approach is developed to characterize the operation behaviors of all stakeholders in the downstream oil supply *** proposed mixed integer nonlinear programming model constrains supply and demand capacity,transportation routes,oil substitution rules and pipeline freight *** transformation and price discretization are introduced for model linear *** experiments are carried out in the oil distribution system in South *** results show that compared to the business-as-usual scheme,the new scheme saves transportation cost by 3.48%,increases pipeline turnover by 5.7%,and reduces energy consumption and emissions by 7.66%and 6.77%.It is proved that the proposed method improves the revenue of the whole system,achieves fair revenue distribution,and also improves the energy and environmental benefits of the oil supply chain.

Background Evidence remains limited on the association between maternal ozone(O,)exposure and congenital heart defects(CHDs)in offspring,and few studies have investigated the interaction and modification of paternal smoking on this *** Using a sample including pregnant women at high risk of fetal CHD(with metabolic disease,first-trimester viral infection,family history of CHD,etc.)from a maternal-fetal medicine study covering 1313 referral hospitals in China during 2013-2021,we examined the associations between maternal O_(3)exposure during 3-8 weeks of gestational age and fetal CHD in offspring and investigated the interaction and modification of paternal smoking on this *** was diagnosed by fetal echocardiograms,maximum daily 8-hour average O,exposure data at a 10 km×10 km spatial resolution came from the Tracking Air Pollution in China dataset,and paternal smoking was collected using *** regression models were used to estimate adjusted odds ratios(ORs)and 95%confidence intervals(CIs).Results Among 27,834 pregnant women at high risk of fetal CHD,17.4%of fetuses were diagnosed with *** 10μg/m^(3)increase in maternal O_(3)exposure was associated with a 17%increased risk of CHD in offspring(OR=1.17,95%CI=1.14-1.20).Compared with paternal nonsmoking and maternal low O_(3)exposure,the ORs(95%CI)of CHD for smoking and low O_(3)exposure,nonsmoking and high O_(3)exposure,and smoking and high O_(3)exposure were 1.25(1.08-1.45),1.81(1.56-2.08),and 2.23(1.84-2.71),*** smoking cessation seemingly mitigated the increased risk of *** Maternal O_(3)exposure and paternal smoking were interactively associated with an increased risk of fetal CHD in offspring,which calls for effective measures to decrease maternal exposure to O_(3)pollution and secondhand smoke for CHDprevention.

Background:The aim of the study was to compare the dynamic defocus curve on patients post-implantation of the extended depth-of-focus(EDOF)and monofocal intraocular lens(IOL).Methods:A total of 62 age-related cataract patients receiving phacoemulsification with implantation of TECNIS Symfony(ZXRoO)or monofocal IOLs were *** binocular static and dynamic defocus curves with corrected distance visual acuity were evaluated at one month ***:The ZXR00 group achieved signifcantly better intermediate(P=0.044)and near(P=0.017)visual acuity(VA)than the monofocal *** groups had similar uncorrected and corrected distance VA(P>0.05,respectively).The dynamic defocus curve revealed a smoother decline from 0.0 D to-2.0 D in the ZXRo0 *** dynamic VA in the ZXR00 group was significantly better(P<0.05)except at 0.0 D(P=0.724)and-0.5 D(P=0.176).The area under the curve(P=0.002)and corrected dynamic vision accommodation(P=0.001)derived from the dynamic defocus curves were better in the ZxRoo group.A positive correlation was observed between defocused dynamic and static VA in both groups(P<0.001).Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that defocused static VA and cor-rected dynamic vision accommodation were significant influential factors for the defocused dynamic VA from-1.0 D to-3.0 D(P<0.05).Conclusions:The EDOF IOL provided similar distant vision,better intermediate and near vision,and a better overall dynamic defocus curve than the monofocal *** dynamic defocus curve may be comprehensively applied to evaluate the all-distance dynamic visual performance post-cataract surgery.
