UAV marine monitoring plays an essential role in marine environmental protection because of its flexibility and convenience,low cost and convenient *** marine environmental monitoring,the similarity between objects such as oil spill and sea surface,Spartina alterniflora and algae is high,and the effect of the general segmentation algorithm is poor,which brings new challenges to the segmentation of UAV marine *** segmentation can do object detection and semantic segmentation at the same time,which can well solve the polymorphism problem of objects in UAV ocean ***,there are few studies on UAV marine image recognition with panoptic *** addition,there are no publicly available panoptic segmentation datasets for UAV *** this work,we collect and annotate UAV images to form a panoptic segmentation UAV dataset named UAV-OUC-SEG and propose a panoptic segmentation method named ***,to deal with the large intraclass variability in scale,deformable convolution and CBAM attention mechanism are employed in the backbone to obtain more accurate ***,due to the complexity and diversity of marine images,boundary masks by the Laplacian operator equation from the ground truth are merged into feature maps to improve boundary segmentation *** demonstrate the advantages of PanopticUAV beyond the most other advanced approaches on the UAV-OUC-SEG dataset.

Nitrogen accumulation in a big lake affected by groundwater discharge in Central Yangtze River Basin

Nitrogen pollution is a major cause of lake eutrophication， garnering global concern for its detrimental impact on lake-water quality. However， the intricate interplay between lakes and groundwater in the accumulation and release of nitrogen remains largely overlooked. Using Honghu Lake as a case study， a large lake in the Yangtze River basin long plagued by nitrogen pollution， this study analyzed the temporal shifts in its water area from 1990 to 2021 using remote-sensing image classification algorithms. From 1990 to 2005， the natural water area of Hong Lake decreased by 72%. The transformation of much of this area into aquaculture zones and agricultural lands has led to a substantial influx of pollutants， culminating in the degradation of the water quality. Despite efforts to restore the natura water area post ban on aquaculture activities， the water quality of the lake remains compromised， indicating other pollution sources menacing the ecosystem of the lake. Field investigations conducted in 2011 and 2019 unveiled substantially higher concentrations of NH4-N and NO3-N in groundwater compared to lake water， with a discernible upward trajectory in pollutant levels over time. The18O mass-balance model was employed to assess groundwater flow dynamics， revealing an estimated lacustrine groundwater discharge of 0.71×106m3/d， underscoring the substantial annual influx of pollutants into the lake via groundwater pathways. Through a comprehensive analysis of surface water and groundwater quality trends within the study area， this research provides novel evidence implicating groundwater as a formidable contributor to the persistent nitrogen pollution afflicting Honghu Lake.

A High-Affinity Methyl-CpG-Binding Protein for Endonuclease-Free and Label-Free DNA Methyltransferase Activity Detection

DNA methyltransferase(MTase) activity detection has received increasing attention as a promising biomarker and therapeutic target. However, most of these detection methods rely on endonuclease digestion and signal groups ***, we present a novel platform for sensing DNA MTase activity that overcomes these limitations. Our approach is both endonuclease-free and label-free, utilizing a combination of a high-affinity streptavidin-methyl-CpG-binding domain(SA-MBD) protein and surface plasmon resonance(SPR) technology. The SA-MBD protein specifically recognizes a hairpin probe containing methylated CpG sites, which is treated with *** MTase. This recognition event generates a corresponding SPR response signal. The limit of detection is as low as 0.016 U/mL, owing to the high-a ffinity of the SA-MBD ***, we have demonstrated the feasibility of our method for *** MTase activity analysis in serum and inhibitor screening, which implies the potential prospects for biomedical research.

Climate state of the Three Gorges Region in the Yangtze River basin in 2022–2023

Based on daily observation data of the Three Gorges Region(TGR)of the Yangtze River basin and global reanalysis data,the climate characteristics,climate events,and meteorological disasters of the TGR in 2022 and 2023 were *** the TGR,the average annual temperature for 2022 and 2023 was 0.8℃ and 0.4℃ higher than normal,respectively,making them the two warmest years in the past *** 2022,the TGR experienced its warmest summer on *** average air temperature was 2.4℃ higher than the average,and there were 24.8 days of above-average high temperature days during *** in the TGR varied significantly between 2022 and *** rainfall was 18.4%below normal and drier than normal in most parts of the *** contrast,the precipitation in 2023 was considerably higher than the long-term average,and above normal for almost the entire *** average wind speed exhibited minimal variation between the two ***,the number of foggy days and relative humidity increased in 2023 compared to *** 2022–2023,the TGR mainly experienced meteorological disasters such as extreme high temperatures,regional heavy rain and flooding,overcast rain,and inverted spring *** indicates that the abnormal western Pacific subtropical high and the abnormal persistence of the eastward-shifted South Asian high were the two important drivers of the durative enhancement of record-breaking high temperature in the summer of 2022.

This paper presents an attempt at assimilating clear-sky FY-4A Advanced Geosynchronous Radiation Imager(AGRI)radiances from two water vapor channels for the prediction of three landfalling typhoon events over the West Pacific Ocean using the 3DVar data assimilation(DA)method along with the WRF model.A channel-sensitive cloud detection scheme based on the particle filter(PF)algorithm is developed and examined against a cloud detection scheme using the multivariate and minimum residual(MMR)algorithm and another traditional cloud mask–dependent cloud detection *** show that both channel-sensitive cloud detection schemes are effective,while the PF scheme is able to reserve more pixels than the MMR scheme for the same *** general,the added value of AGRI radiances is confirmed when comparing with the control experiment without AGRI ***,it is found that the analysis fields of the PF experiment are mostly improved in terms of better depicting the typhoon,including the temperature,moisture,and dynamical *** typhoon track forecast skill is improved with AGRI radiance DA,which could be explained by better simulating the upper *** impact of assimilating AGRI radiances on typhoon intensity forecasts is *** the other hand,improved rainfall forecasts from AGRI DA experiments are found along with reduced errors for both the thermodynamic and moisture fields,albeit the improvements are limited.

A novel low molecular weight compound polysaccharides from Chinese herbal medicines: purification， characterization and anti-tumor activities in vitro and in vivo

A novel low molecular weight polysaccharide (LMW-CPS) was identified from a specific combination of Chinese herb ingredients. The monosaccharide composition of LMW-CPS was consisted of single arabinose， which had an α-L-furanose configuration with an average molecular weight of 2.06 kDa. NMR spectra and monosaccharide constitution analyses revealed that it had a backbone of →5)-α-L-Araf-(1→ with α-L-Araf-(1→ as the terminal residue. In vitro experiments found that it could lead to apoptosis and inhibit hepatocellular carcinoma cell proliferation by arresting them in the S phase. In vivo experiments showed that it protected immune organs such as the thymus and spleen， enhanced immune cell activities， stimulated cytokine release， augmented the abundance of CD8， CD3， CD4， and CD19 positive lymphocytes， and markedly impeded solid hepatocellular carcinoma progression in mice. H&E staining and cell cycle examination also indicated that LMW-CPS arrested hepatocellular carcinoma cells at the S phase to induce apoptosis. These findings indicated its promising potential for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma.

Convenient Self-Heating Instant Food Causes Significant Increasing Human Exposure to Organophosphate Esters

The self-heating lunch box(SHLB)is a kind of popular instant food in China,yet little is known about the associated chemical release risk during its heating *** this study,we investigated organophosphate esters(OPEs)in original unheated food(UF),SHLB-heated processed food(HF)and potential OPE release from SHLB packaging *** higher concentrations of OPEs were observed in HF(267±246 ng/g dry weight(dw))than in UF(163±211 ng/g dw)(ptesting revealed that packaging materials were rich in OPEs and can release considerable OPEs into food simulates(range,14.7-90.8 ng/g;mean,47.9±21.8).Influencing factors(temperature,contact time,oily food)on OPE migration from packaging materials to food were *** temperature and longer contact time increased OPE contents in food ***,the presence of abundant OPEs in UF and significant correlations among different OPEs(p<0.05)suggested contamination happened during food processing and *** one SHLB meal a day,a 12-fold increase of OPE intake was observed for humans compared to those following a traditional dietary *** the high-exposure(95th percentile)scenario,hazard quotients of nine OPEs ranged from 0.00005 to *** results suggested that the SHLB exposure pathway of OPEs should be particularly paid attention to in specific subpopulations that prefer this dietary habit.

There are urgent needs of volatile amine gas sensors with high-performance in food quality control,disease monitoring and environmental ***-film fluorescent probe is suitable for amine vapour sensing due to its high sensitivity,high selectivity,and no polluting ***,a novel fluorescent probe based on indacenodithiophene structure withπconjugated system was designed and *** experimental results show that the films prepared by this material exhibit rapid and distinct fluorescence quenching after being exposed to saturated vapours of primary amine,secondary amine and tertiary amine represented by n-propylamine,diethylamine and trimethylamine,*** quenching of fluorescence is 84%,87%and 96%,respectively,within 10 *** detection mechanism of probe for primary amine is based on specific chemical reaction,while the detection mechanism for secondary amine and tertiary amine is intramolecular charge *** experiments show that the detection limit of the fluorescent probe for trimethylamine,an important marker of food spoilage,could reach 4.610 ***-site detection based on spoilage of small yellow croaker suggests the material possesses the potential for food freshness *** simple fluorogenic probe is an original approach to simplify real-time visual monitoring of volatile amine vapour.

A Novel Load Balancing Strategy of Software-Defined Cloud/Fog Networking in the Internet of Vehicles

The Internet of Vehicles(IoV)has been widely researched in recent years,and cloud computing has been one of the key technologies in the *** cloud computing provides high performance compute,storage and networking services,the IoV still suffers with high processing latency,less mobility support and location *** this paper,we integrate fog computing and software defined networking(SDN) to address those *** computing extends computing and storing to the edge of the network,which could decrease latency remarkably in addition to enable mobility support and location ***,SDN provides flexible centralized control and global knowledge to the *** order to apply the software defined cloud/fog networking(SDCFN) architecture in the IoV effectively,we propose a novel SDN-based modified constrained optimization particle swarm optimization(MPSO-CO) algorithm which uses the reverse of the flight of mutation particles and linear decrease inertia weight to enhance the performance of constrained optimization particle swarm optimization(PSO-CO).The simulation results indicate that the SDN-based MPSO-CO algorithm could effectively decrease the latency and improve the quality of service(QoS) in the SDCFN architecture.
