Questionnaires and interviews are employed in this paper to investigate and analyze the situation with respect to express packaging waste at the graduate school of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(GCASS).The survey results show that:(1)the campus receives a large number of express packages and there is,in turn,a considerable amount of packaging waste;(2)there are four main types of express packaging materials:paper packaging,plastic bags,wrapping tapes and package fillers;(3)neither the students nor the school perform well in the recycling of express packaging waste;(4)the samples investigated in this paper can be divided into four categories by cluster analysis,and the author infers from this that the colleges and universities with a large proportion of female students should pay more attention to the issue of recycling of express packaging *** suggestions are presented based on the research results:(1)establishing a campus waste recycling system is the most efficient way to solve the problem of express packaging waste at GCASS;(2)we should advocate for green packaging and manage it from the source of waste generation because most of the express packaging material does not easily degrade naturally,and this represents a huge hidden danger to human health and the environment;(3)the school should cultivate student awareness of environmental *** education and penalties are implemented together,the recovery system will run better.

Since the sustainable development has been widely acknowledged worldwide,the sustainable campus development based on low-carbon campus construction has already become a tendency of building resource-saving and environment-friendly *** is a hot and difficult topic in the current campus planning to measure,estimate and construct low-carbon *** paper calculated the ecological footprint of traffic,water,energy and daily life on the campus of Peking University Shenzhen graduate school,obtained the energy consumption of each item on campus and individual low-carbon activities using questionnaire survey and interview,compared the data with those of other domestic and foreign *** results showed that(1) Ecological footprint of Peking University Shenzhen graduate school in 2016 was 4,269 hm^2,and per capita ecological footprint was 1.49 hm^2;(2) Total carbon emission in 2016 was 13.4×107 kg,among which power generation and food produced the most carbon emission;(3) Students had strong awareness of low-carbon life,and the main obstacles for low-carbon life were "Hard to change living habits","Greedy vanity",and "No efficiency instruction";(4) In terms of the overall proportion,control of energy consumption is the main approach of reducing campus carbon emission,which is similar to other domestic and foreign *** carbon emission of daily life in Peking University Shenzhen graduate school was significantly higher than that of foreign campuses,while that of traffic was *** and improvement measures were put forward in view of the existing problems.

In this article, we present our previous research, which highlighted adenosine triphosphate(ATP) as the cause of neuropathic pain during the acute phase of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder(NMOSD). In NMOSD pathology, damageassociated molecular patterns(DAMPs), including ATP, are released from damaged astrocytes, triggering the activation of innate immune cells. ATP is a central mediator of acute pain in NMOSD.

Elucidating the complex dynamic cellular organization in the hypothalamus is critical for understanding its role in coordinating fundamental body functions. Over the past decade, single-cell and spatial omics technologies have significantly evolved, overcoming initial technical challenges in capturing and analyzing individual cells. These high-throughput omics technologies now offer a remarkable opportunity to comprehend the complex spatiotemporal patterns of transcriptional diversity and cell-type characteristics across the entire hypothalamus. Current single-cell and single-nucleus RNA sequencing methods comprehensively quantify gene expression by exploring distinct phenotypes across various subregions of the hypothalamus. However, single-cell/single-nucleus RNA sequencing requires isolating the cell/nuclei from the tissue, potentially resulting in the loss of spatial information concerning neuronal networks. Spatial transcriptomics methods, by bypassing the cell dissociation, can elucidate the intricate spatial organization of neural networks through their imaging and sequencing technologies. In this review, we highlight the applicative value of single-cell and spatial transcriptomics in exploring the complex molecular-genetic diversity of hypothalamic cell types, driven by recent high-throughput achievements.
