The Yangtze River Economic Belt(YREB)is a pivotal contributor to China's economic growth,particularly as the nation undergoes a green *** synergistic reductions on pollution and carbon emissions is deemed crucial for this *** paper examines the spatial and temporal changes in the synergy of pollution and carbon reduction in the YREB and delves into the underlying *** findings indicate that while the synergy in the YREB is increasing,it manifests disparities across regions,with the lower reaches outperforming the middle and upper *** behavior,government guidance,and regional endowments influence this *** in the YREB must strategically plan their urban scale,curb population overgrowth,recalibrate their industrial structures,curtail energy consumption,and enhance policy *** regions should prioritize various objectives:the lower reaches should hasten scientific advancements and technological innovations;the middle reaches should foster innovation and industrial upgrades;and the upper reaches should prioritize rural and urban land intensification.

Introduction: Adolescent HPV vaccination rates remain suboptimal. The purpose of the study was to investigate attitudes about HPV vaccine relative to other adolescent vaccines among clinical staff from primary care offices and school based clinics. Methods: We interviewed clinicians in primary care offices and school-based clinics regarding their attitudes about HPV vaccine relative to Tdap and MCV4. Results: Respondents (n = 36) included clinical staff in family medicine (47%), pediatrics (25%), obstetrics/gynecology (19%) and school-based health clinics (8%). Only 3% strongly agreed and 17% agreed that completion of HPV vaccine was more important than completion of pertussis vaccine (Tdap), while 6% strongly agreed and 33% agreed that completion of HPV vaccine was more important than completion of meningitis vaccine (MCV4). Discussion: Providing clinicians with additional information about the cancer prevention benefits of the HPV vaccine and the greater risk for HPV infection/disease relative to other vaccine preventable adolescent diseases may help to increase HPV vaccination rates among adolescents.

Background:Oxytocin(OXT)and its receptor(OXTR)is associated with *** present study was to investigate the correlation between the genetic expression alterations of OXT and OXTR and the outcomes in patients with pancreatic cancer(PC).Methods:Information regarding OXT and OXTR genetic alterations and changes in gene expression were retrieved from the Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)databases and analyzed using the cBioPortal online *** assessed the correlation of overall survival and disease/progression-free months to either OXT or OXTR genetic alterations and changes in gene expression using Kaplan-Meier and Cox regression *** PCR(qPCR)was conducted to assess the mRNA expression levels of OXT and OXTR in human PC cell ***:Five percent of PC cases showed mRNA upregulation in the OXT *** PC cases also showed genetic alterations and changes in gene expression of *** median months of survival and disease-free survival were lower for PC cases with genetic alterations and changes in gene expression in the OXT and OXTR genes as compared to those without such *** data showed that OXT and OXTR mRNA expression were 1-fold and 10-fold higher,respectively in PANC-1 cell lines as compared to L3.6pl cell lines in direct negative correlation with responsiveness to ***:These data suggest that OXT and OXTR may potentially be important in PC progression,chemoresistance,and patient survival,and potentially could have prognostic and therapeutic implications in a subset of PC patients.

A superior combination of yield strength(1001 MPa)and-20℃ impact toughness(166 J)was obtained in Nb-V-Timicroalloyed Ni-Cr-Mo-Cu steel treated by direct quenching and tempering route(DQT).The tested steels treated by DQT route and re-austenitization and tempering route(QT)were compared with each other in terms of mechanical properties and microstructures characterized by optical microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,electron back-scattered diffraction method and so *** and Vickers hardness of the tested steel treated by the above two routes vary with isothermal aging temperature(400-600℃),shown as under-aged state,peak-aged state and overaged *** DQT specimens show higher strength and Vickers hardness than QT specimens with the same aging ***,the largest difference of yield strength between DQT and QT specimens was shown in DQT600 and QT600 ***600 or QT600 specimens refers to direct quenched(DQ)or quenched(Q)specimens isothermally aged at 600℃.The main disparities in quenched microstructure between DQ and Q specimens are mainly in morphology of prior austenite grains,dislocation density of martensite matrix and solution amount of Nb and Mo elements dissolving in martensite matrix,which play key roles in affecting microstructure and mechanical properties of DQT and QT *** dislocation density of matrix and finer average diameter of both MC(M is any combination of Nb,Mo and V)and Cu-rich particles were shown in DQT600 specimens than in QT600 *** from dislocations and nanosized MC and Cu-rich particles mainly leads to the largest difference of yield strength between DQT600 and QT600 *** addition,strong dislocation strengthening and precipitation strengthening in DQT600 specimen also elevated its ductile-to-brittle-transition-temperature,compared with QT600 specimen.

Mistreatment during Childbirth: Impact on Maternal Outcomes and Importance of Provider Perspectives

Background: Dying in childbirth is one of the most common causes of death for women. While maternal mortality rates, defined as deaths per 100,000 live births, have been steadily dropping in most countries worldwide, maternal mortality rates have doubled in the United States in the last twenty years. This commentary examines the various contributing factors to this trend. Methods: A literature review was performed using the keywords: maternal mortality, United States, disrespectful maternity care, obstetric violence, provider perspectives, and disparities. Maternal mortality statistics were obtained from the World health Organization website. Results: Medical factors associated with maternal mortality include increased maternal age and cardiovascular conditions. Social factors include barriers to healthcare access, delays in receiving medical care, reduction in reproductive health services in some states, and non-obstetrical deaths such as accidents, domestic violence, and suicide. Racial inequities and disparities of care are reflected in higher maternal mortality rates for minorities and people of color. Disrespectful maternity care or obstetric violence has been reported worldwide as a factor in delay of lifesaving obstetrical care and reluctance by a pregnant person to access the healthcare system. About one in five US women has reported experiencing mistreatment, varying from verbal abuse to lack of privacy, from coerced procedures to neglect during childbirth. Conclusion: This commentary highlights the importance of inclusion of providers in research on respectful maternity care. Provider burnout, moral distress, limited time, and burden of clinical responsibilities are known challenges to respectful and comprehensive medical care. The association of disrespectful care with poor maternal outcomes needs to be studied. Dear Editor Previous research found that childhood cancer survivors of African ancestry have significantly higher morbidity and mortality than those of European ancestry[1].However,after adjusting for socio-economic factors,the magnitudes of racial health disparities are either substantially decreased or become statistically non-significant[1],suggesting that social and economic determinants may contribute to racial health ***,we conducted epigenome-wide association studies(EWAS)for three key social determinants of health(SDOHs),namely,personal educational attainment,personal income,and neighborhood deprivation among survivors of childhood cancer,where 130 epigenome-wide significant SDOH-CpG associationswere identified among European ancestry survivors,and 25 of which were also validated in African ancestry survivors[2].Notably,many SDOH-associated CpG sites are also associated with tobacco use.

In this paper, an adaptive gain tuning rule is designed for the nonlinear sliding mode speed control(NSMSC) in order to enhance the dynamic performance and the robustness of the permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor(PMa-Syn RM) with considering the parameter uncertainties. A nonlinear sliding surface whose parameters are altering with time is designed at first. The proposed NSMSC can minimize the settling time without any overshoot via utilizing a low damping ratio at starting along with a high damping ratio as the output approaches the target set-point. In addition, it eliminates the problem of the singularity with the upper bound of an uncertain term that is hard to be measured practically as well as ensures a rapid convergence in finite time, through employing a simple adaptation law. Moreover, for enhancing the system efficiency throughout the constant torque region, the control system utilizes the maximum torque per ampere technique. The nonlinear sliding surface stability is assured via employing Lyapunov stability theory. Furthermore, a simple sliding mode estimator is employed for estimating the system uncertainties. The stability analysis and the experimental results indicate the effectiveness along with feasibility of the proposed speed estimation and the NSMSC approach for a 1.1-k W PMa-Syn RM under different speed references, electrical and mechanical parameters disparities, and load disturbance conditions.
