Establishment and validation of an adherence prediction system for lifestyle interventions in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

BACKGROUND Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is the most common liver disease worldwide,affecting about 1/4th of the global population and causing a huge global economic *** date,no drugs have been approved for the treatment of NAFLD,making the correction of unhealthy lifestyles the principle method of *** patients with poor adherence to lifestyle correction and attempting to improve their adherence are therefore very *** To develop and validate a scale that can rapidly assess the adherence of patients with NAFLD to lifestyle *** The Exercise and Diet Adherence scale(EDAs)was designed based on com-pilation using the Delphi method,and its reliability was subsequently *** and laboratory indicators were measured,and patients completed the EDAs questionnaire at baseline and after 6 *** efficacy of the EDAs was evaluated in the initial ***,the efficacy of the EDAs was internally verified in a validation *** The EDAs consisted of 33 items in six dimensions,with a total of 165 *** EDAs score correlated significantly with daily number of exercise and daily reduction in calorie intake(Pss.A total score of 116 was excellent in predicting adherence to daily reduction in calorie intake(>500 kacl/d),(sensitivity/specificity was 100.0%/75.8%),while patients score below 97 could nearly rule out the possibility of daily exercise(sensitivity/specificity was 89.5%/44.4%).Total EDAs scores≥116,97-115,ands were indicative of good,average,and poor adherence,respectively,to diet and exercise *** The EDAs can reliably assess the adherence of patients with NAFLD to lifestyle interventions and have clinical application in this population.

Exploration of Therapeutic Measures and Clinical Efficacy for Recurrent Respiratory Infections in Children

Objective:To explore the treatment strategies and clinical effects for recurrent respiratory infections in ***:From May 2022 to May 2024,100 pediatric patients with recurrent respiratory infections were selected in this study and evenly divided into two *** control group(50 patients)was treated with conventional therapy supplemented with budesonide,while the observation group(50 patients)received pidotimod treatment in addition to the control group’s ***,the duration of clinical symptom improvement,respiratory function enhancement,serological index changes,reinfection status,and parental satisfaction were compared between the two ***:In terms of clinical symptoms,the observation group showed significantly shorter durations of fever reduction,cough relief,tonsil swelling reduction,and disappearance of fine wet rales compared to the control group(average reduction times were 1.6 days,2.3 days,2.1 days,and 1.9 days,respectively,Pspiratory function,the observation group experienced a 12%increase in peak expiratory flow rate variability,a 0.6-liter increase in lung capacity,a 0.7-liter increase in forced lung capacity,and a 0.5-liter increase in forced expiratory volume in the first second after treatment,all significantly higher than the control group(Pserological testing revealed that interferon-γand interleukin-2 levels increased by 15%and 18%,respectively,while interferon-α,interleukin-5,and interleukin-4 levels decreased by 10%,12%,and 9%,respectively,in the observation group,showing significant differences compared to the control group(Pservation group(10%)was significantly lower than that in the control group(30%),with an average reduction of two reinfections within one year and a 3.2-day shorter infection control time(Ps of parental satisfaction,the observation group achieved 95%,significantly higher than the 70%in the contro
