Background and Aims:Tumor microenvironment plays an essential role in cancer development and *** immunotherapy has become a promising approach for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).We aimed to analyze the HCC immune microenvironment characteristics to identify immune-related genetic ***:Key immune-relevant genes(KIRGs)were obtained through integrating the differentially expressed genes of The Cancer Genome Atlas,immune genes from the Immunology Database and Analysis Portal,and immune differentially expressed genes determined by single-sample gene set enrichment analysis *** regression analysis was performed to mine therapeutic target genes.A regulatory network based on KIRGs,transcription factors,and immune-related long non-coding RNAs(IRLncRNAs)was also *** outcomes of risk score model were validated in a testing cohort and in clinical samples using tissue immunohistochemistry *** analysis between risk score and immune checkpoint genes and immune cell infiltration were ***:In total,we identified 21 KIRGs,including programmed cell death-1(PD-1)and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte associated protein 4(CTLA4),and found IKBKE,IL2RG,EDNRA,and IGHA1 may be equally important to PD-1 or ***,KIRGs,various transcription factors,and IRLncRNAs were integrated to reveal that the NRF1-AC127024.5-IKBKE axis might be involved in tumor immunity ***,the immune-related risk score model was established according to KIRGs and key IRLncRNAs,and verified more obvious discriminating power in the testing *** analysis indicated TNFSF4,LGALS9,KIAA1429,IDO2,and CD276 were closely related to the risk score,and CD4 T cells,macrophages,and neutrophils were the primary immune infiltration cell ***:Our results highlight the importance of immune genes in the HCC microenvironment and further unravel the underlying molecular mechanisms in the development of HCC.

The challenge of diagnosis delay in inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)has emerged as a significant concern for both patients and healthcare *** widely accepted notion that there is an extended time frame from the onset of symptoms to the definitive diagnosis is often attributed to the heterogeneity of IBD and the non-specificity of clinical *** to patients with Crohn’s disease,the issue of delayed diagnosis appears to be more pronounced across different regions *** intricate interplay of real-world factors has led to debates regarding the primary contributors to these diagnostic *** a comparison solely between patients and physicians and implicating the latter as the predominant influence factor may fall into a simplistic either-or logical trap that may obscure the *** letter,grounded in published evidence,explores areas for improvement in a forthcoming paper within the field,hoping to pinpoint the culprit behind the diagnosis delay issue for IBD patients rather than simply attributing it to so-called“physician-dependent factors”.Our objective is to motivate healthcare providers and policymakers in relevant fields to reflect on strategies for addressing this problem to reduce diagnostic delays and enhance patient outcomes.

Objective: This study aims to determine the mediating effects of psychological empowerment on abusive supervision and turnover intention as perceived by nurses to provide information to change the status of nurse ***: A cross-sectional survey (a questionnaire examining perceptions of abusive supervision,measurement of psychological empowerment,and questionnaire for turnover intention) was used to collect data.A total of 1127 clinical nurses,who were recruited through convenience sampling,participated in the ***: Nurses' average perceived abusive supervision,psychological empowerment,and turnover intention scores were 1.62 ± 0.95,3.24 ± 0.83,and 14.17 ± 3.78,*** empowerment was found to mediate the relationship between abusive supervision and turnover intention (P< 0.01).Turnover intention tends to be stronger and psychological empowerment reduced when nurse managers adopt an abusive leadership ***: Nurses' psychological empowerment is an intermediary variable that predicts the relationship between abusive supervision and turnover *** managers should manage abusive supervision to increase nurses' psychological empowerment and decrease turnover intention.

Background and Aims:SARS-CoV-2 vaccines-associated autoimmune liver diseases have been reported in several case ***,the safety and immunogenicity after primary and booster inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in patients with autoimmune liver diseases(AILD)is still ***:Eighty-four patients with AILD were prospectively followed up after the second dose(primary)of inactivated SARS-CoV-2 *** of them received the third dose(booster)of inactivated *** events(AEs),autoimmune activation,and liver inflammation exacerbation after primary and booster vaccination were ***,dynamics of antireceptor-binding-domain IgG(anti-RBD-IgG),neutralizing antibodies(NAbs)and RBD-specific B cells responses were ***:The overall AEs in AILD patients after primary and booster vaccination were 26.2%and 13.3%,*** decrease of C3 level and increase of immunoglobulin light chain K andλlevels were observed in AILD patients after primary vaccination,however,liver inflammation was not exacerbated,even after booster *** the seroprevalence and titers of anti-RBD-IgG and NAbs were decreased over time in AILD patients after primary ***,the antibody titers were significantly elevated after booster vaccination(10-fold in anti-RBD-IgG and 7.4-fold in NAbs,respectively),which was as high as in healthy ***,the inferior antibody response was not enhanced after booster vaccination in patients with *** of atypical memory B cells were inversely related to antibody levels,which indicate that the impaired immune memory was partially restored partly by the booster ***:The well tolerability and enhanced humoral immune response of inactivated vaccine supports an additional booster vaccination in AILD patients without immunosuppressants.

Inactivated COVID-19 vaccines have been widely used to vaccinate the Chinese ***,limited literature exists to explore the effect of obesity on the humoral and cellular immune response to these *** this study,132 high BMI(Body mass index)(obesity and overweight,BMI≥24 kg/m^(2))and 82 normal BMI(BMI<24 kg/m^(2))participants were *** events(AEs),Spike receptor-binding domain IgG antibody(anti-RBD-IgG),neutralizing antibodies(NAbs),and specific B-cell and T-cell responses were evaluated 21–105 days after full-course inactivated COVID-19 *** overall incidence of AEs was similar in individuals with and without obesity/*** serious vaccine-related AEs *** with obesity/overweight had a reduced seropositivity rate of NAbs compared to those with normal ***-RBD-IgG and NAbs titers in the high BMI group were significantly lower than those in the normal BMI *** frequencies of RBD-specific memory B cells(MBCs)and the numbers of spike-specific TNF-α+spot-forming cells(SFCs)in individuals with obesity/overweight were reduced compared with those noted in individuals without obesity/overweight.A similar trend of weakened humoral responses was also observed in individuals with central *** study results suggested that inactivated COVID-19 vaccines were safe and well tolerated but induced poor humoral and cellular immune responses in Chinese individuals with obesity/overweight.

Liver is one of the organs with the highest injury rate, and in recent decades, the guidelines for the treatment of liver trauma have changed considerably. Now, there is a growing consensus that the most important step is diagnosis and depending upon the degree of severity, non-operative therapy is the main treatment method for hepatic trauma if conditions permit. For serious hepatic trauma patients such as those with hemodynamic instability, they should be operated upon as soon as possible. Regardless of the surgical options, doctors should control damage to patients and try to prevent complications. New therapies such as hepatic artery embolization and liver transplantation have been more and more used for the treatment of serious heoatic damage in clinics.

The bacterial infection,especially for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA),and the associated severe inflammatory response could extremely limit the crosstalk of RAW264.7 cells and mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)and lead to the undesirable osseointegration of peri–*** is highly demanded to modify the surface of titanium(Ti)implant to improve its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and facilitate its disabled ***,in our study,a multifunctional coating of zeolitic imidazolate frameworks-67 encapsulated osteogenic growth peptide(OGP)(ZO)was fabricated on titanium dioxide nanotubes(TNT)substrates(TNT-ZO)via the electrophoresis deposition(EPD)*** TNT-ZO substrates exhibited excellent antibacterial activity indicated by the reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation,outer membrane(OM)and inner membrane(IM)permeabilization change,adenosine triphosphate(ATP)decrease,and intracellular compounds(DNA/RNA)***,the regulation effects of TNT-ZO coating modified titanium substrates on the RAW264.7-MSCs crosstalk could induce the anti-inflammatory and osteogenic microenvironment via multiple paracrine signaling of Runx2,BMP2,VEGF,and TGF-β*** promoted effects of coating structure were investigated in vivo,including antibacterial effect,osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells,and anti-inflammation of RAW264.7 cells,as well as infected bone regeneration and repair in bone defect transplantation *** results demonstrated that MRSA was effectively eliminated by the hydrolysis of ZIF-67 nanoparticles on TNT-ZO ***,the excellent osseointegration of peri–implants was realized simultaneously by modulating the crosstalk of *** study could provide a novel approach to designing a multifunctional coating on the Ti implants for infected bone regeneration in orthopedic applications.
