Formation and distribution of coal measure source rocks in the Eocene Pinghu Formation in the Pinghu Slope of the Xihu Depression,East China Sea Shelf Basin

The Xihu Depression in the East China Sea Shelf Basin is a large petroliferous sedimentary depression,in which oil and gas reservoirs were mainly discovered in the Pinghu Slope and the central inversion *** oil-gas source correlation in the Xihu Depression was analyzed by hydrocarbon generating thermal simulation data via gold-tube pyrolysis *** results indicated that the oil and gas in the Xihu Depression were mainly derived from coal measure source rocks of the Eocene Pinghu ***,the identification of coal seams is extremely crucial for evaluating coal measure source rocks in the Pinghu Formation in the Xihu *** and petrological characterization pointed to input of terrigenous organic matter and redox conditions of the depositional environment as factors that govern the ability of the coal measure source rocks in hydrocarbon generation in the Xihu *** this regard,the sedimentary organic facies in the Pinghu Formation were classified into four predominantly terrigenous and one mixed-source subfacies,which all varied in carbon and hydrogen *** coal measure source rocks in the carbon-and hydrogen-rich tidal flat-lagoon exhibited the highest hydrocarbon generation potential,whereas the mudstone in the neritic facies was the poorest in its hydrocarbon *** results suggested that the coal measure source rocks in the Pinghu Formation likely developed in the Hangzhou Slope and the Tiantai Slope,both representing promising sources for oil and gas exploration.

Mesoproterozoic marine organic-rich rocks are widely distributed in the North China Craton,include the Gaoyuzhuang(GYZ),the Hongshuizhuang(HSZ),and the Xiamaling(XML)*** to the T;value and isomerisation ratio of C;homohopanes,the XML,HSZ,and GYZ samples were in low mature,mature and high mature stage,*** distribution in extractable organic matter(EOM)of three Mesoproterozoic organic-rock samples in different maturity were analysed to reveal the organic precursor and preservation pathway of in the Mesoproterozoic Combined with gold-tube pyrolysates of three Mesoproterozoic samples,it could further illuminate the chemical composition of Mesoproterozoic kerogen,given *** results indicated that the three formations were all deposited under reducing condition and their organic precursors mainly were some aquatic *** content of rearranged hopanes was detected in EOM of XML and HSZ samples,whereas they were relatively low in the high mature GYZ *** to that in EOM,the relative concentration of rearranged hopanes sharply decreased in the gold-tube pyrolysates of the XML kerogen,then slightly increased but was still significantly lower than the EOM of XML sample,which indicated that catalysis of clay minerals in the early diagenesis only changed the chemical composition of the unstable functional groups of the kerogen during the *** to the thriving heterotrophic microbes and low sink rate of particulate organic matter during the Mesoproterozoic,primary producers suffered extensive degradation during sinking process,only some resistant biopolymers lacking of lipid compounds survived from heterotrophic degradation,while heterotrophic microbes contained more proportion of organic *** pristane(Pr)and phytane(Ph)were only released in high mature stage because of the protection of the macromolecular structure of resistant biopolymers which prevented biomarkers from being altered by the

In active rift basins, tectonism is extremely important for sequence stratigraphic patterns, affecting both the sequence architecture and internal makeup. Sequence stratigraphic framework of a Paleogene rift succession in Qiongdongnan Basin, northern South China Sea, was built using seismic profiles, complemented by well logs and cores. One first-order and three second-order sequences were identified on the basis of basin-scale unconformities, and seven third-order sequences are defined by unconformities along the basin margins and correlative conformities within the central basin. Through unconformity analysis and backstripping procedure, the Paleogene synrift tectonic evolution of deep- water area of Qiongdongnan Basin was proved to be episodic, which can be divided into rifting stage-I, rifting stage-II and rifting stage-III. Episodic rifting resulted in the formation of various types of struc- tural slope break belts, which controlled different architectures and internal makeup of sequences. This study enhances the understanding of the control of tectonic evolution on sequence stratigraphic pat- terns and establishes relevant patterns in a typical rift basin, and further proposes the favorable sand- stone reservoirs developing in different sequence stratigraphic patterns, which will be pretty helpful for subtle pool exploration in deepwater area of petroliferous basins.

This paper reports a radial-contour-mode micromechanical disk resonator for radio frequency applications. This disk resonator with a gold plated layer as the electrodes, was prepared on a silicon-on-insulator wafer, which is supported by an anchor on another silicon wafer through Au-Au thermo-compression bonding. The gap between the disk and the surrounding gold electrodes is 100 nm. The radius of the disk is 20μm and the thickness is 4.5 μm. In results, the resonator shows a resonant frequency of 143 MHz and a quality factor of 5600 in vacuum

Laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry zircon U-Pb dating and geochemical study document Carboniferous(c.320-317 Ma) appinitic intrusions from the northern North China craton. The rock suite mainly consists of hornblende diorites and monzodiorites,with an SiO range from 46.8 to 55.4%.These rocks exhibit high alkali contents,strong enrichment in large ion lithophile elements and light rare earth elements,and depletion in high field strength elements,with radiogenic Sr/Sr ratios of 0.7058-0.7093,unradiogenicε(t) of-9.3 to -13.9 and zirconε(t) from -8.5 to -*** geochemical features suggest that their generation may involve a distinctive two-stage process:(1) a precursory metasomatism stage of mantle peridotites by melts from subduction-related sediments;(2) a delayed partial melting stage probably initiated by post-subduction transcurrent movements along pre-existing lithospheric shear *** mafic to intermediate intrusions,plus other coeval mafic- ultramafic complexes and high Ba-Sr granites from neighbouring regions,not only witness a heterogeneously enriched subcontinental lithospheric mantle along the northern North China craton,but also attest to a reworking-dominated metacratonic process within a post-subduction transtensional regime.

Layered double hydroxides have demonstrated great potential for the oxygen evolution reaction,which is a crucial half-reaction of overall water ***,it remains challenging to apply layered double hydroxides in other electrochemical reactions with high efficiency and ***,we report two-dimensional multifunctional layered double hydroxides derived from metalorganic framework sheet precursors supported by nanoporous gold with high porosity,which exhibit appealing performances toward oxygen/hydrogen evolution reactions,hydrazine oxidation reaction,and overall hydrazine *** as-prepared catalyst only requires an overpotential of 233 mV to reach 10 mA·cm^(-2) toward oxygen evolution *** overall hydrazine splitting cell only needs a cell voltage of 0.984 V to deliver 10 mA·cm^(-2),which is far more superior than that of the overall water splitting system(1.849 V).The appealing performances of the catalyst can be contributed to the synergistic effect between the metal components of the layered double hydroxides and the supporting effect of the nanoporous gold substrate,which could endow the sample with high surface area and excellent conductivity,resulting in superior activity and stability.

研究纯金和焙烧金矿电极在25°C脱气搅拌氰化物介质中的活化和钝化行为。在搅拌速度为100 r/min的0.04 mol/L NaCN溶液中得到的循环伏安曲线和动电位极化曲线显示不同的峰位置和电流密度。动电位测试表明,峰电流密度随氰化物浓度的增加而大幅度增加。pH值从10升高到11导致电流密度大幅度降低,而将搅拌速度从100 r/min降低到60 r/min导致电流密度明显增大。在有氧条件下,纯金和焙烧金矿电极显示不同的峰位置和腐蚀速率。恒电位法研究表明,当pH值为11时,将电位从1 V提高到1.4 V,电流密度降低80%,而在1 V时,将pH值从11降低到10,电流密度增大到1.7倍,这可能是由于形成了更有效的钝化层。金极化后,在衰减期间的电化学噪声测试(ENM)表明,金在高电位时处于钝化程度更高,呈点状腐蚀特征。ENM结果表明,这项技术有望于更好地应用于金浸出研究。XPS研究证明了钝化氧化物的存在。

Geochronology and Geochemistry of the Granite Xenolith within the Lamprophyre at the Zhenyuan gold Deposit(Yunnan Province, SW China)

The xenoliths in host rocks of hydrothermal gold deposits can generally provide much geochemical information of the deep rocks, which may have an implication for the sources of ore-forming materials. Geochronology and geochemical characteristics are reported for a granite xenolith, which is enclosed by the lamprophyre in the Zhenyuan gold deposit(Yunnan Province, SW China). This granite xenolith mainly consists of K-feldspar, quartz, and plagioclase with trace amounts of magnetite, titanite, apatite, zircon, and sulfides. Zircons from the granite xenolith yield a weighted average U-Pb age of 281.1 ± 1.3 Ma(MSWD = 2.1), which could represent the crystallization age of this granite xenolith. The Ti-in-zircon geothermometer and the Mn concentration in apatite calculate that this granite xenolith formed at 685 ± 43℃ with the logf_(O2) values ranging from NNO + 3.7 to NNO + 6.4. The zircons in the granite xenolith have a restricted range of positive ε_(Hf)(t) values ranging from +9.4 to +10.8, and the corresponding Hf TDM2 model ages range from 588 to 678 Ma. The zircon U-Pb age and the Hf isotopic compositions indicate this granite xenolith within the lamprophyre is mainly derived from partial melting of juvenile crustal rocks before the completed closure of the Ailaoshan Ocean. The pyrites in the granite xenolith have higher Bi concentrations, and lower As, Sb, and Tl concentrations than the gold-bearing pyrites of the ores in the Zhenyuan gold deposit. The low Au concentrations of the pyrites together with the ore-forming age of the Zhenyuan gold deposit(Oligocene) indicate the granite xenolith may have limited contribution to the gold mineralization of the Zhenyuan gold deposit.

Pb isotope ratios and their variation have been measured and explained on ores of massive S-Fe-Au depos-its hosted in the Middle-Upper Carboniferous, on feldspars from diorite bodies closely related tomineralization and on whole rocks from ore-hosting strata (carbonate rocks) in the Tongling area, Anhui Prov-ince. Through a comparison of Pb isotope features of these geological bodies, it has been suggested that oresubstances of the deposits were derived from ore-hosting strata. In the meanwhile, the measurement of ore Pbisotopes of different mineralization types of the same deposit indicates that different mineralization types havedistinct Pb isotope characteristics, showing the potentiality of the Pb isotopic method used in mineral explora-tion.
