The internal energy and the spatiotemporal entropy of excitable systems are investigated with the lattice Boltzmann method. The numerical results show that the breakup of spiral wave is attributed to the inadequate supply of energy, i.e., the internal energy of system is smaller than the energy of self-sustained spiral wave. It is observed that the average internal energy of a regular wave state reduces with its spatiotemporal entropy decreasing. Interestingly, although the energy difference between two regular wave states is very small, the different states can be distinguished obviously due to the large difference between their spatiotemporal entropies. In addition, when the unstable spiral wave converts into the spatiotemporal chaos, the internal energy of system decreases, while the spatiotemporal entropy increases, which behaves as the thermodynamic entropy in an isolated system.

The environmental magnetic proxies of stalagmites hold significant potential for reconstructing regional hydroclimate changes by revealing the content and grain size of magnetic particles within stalagmites. In this study， we present the contents and grain sizes of magnetic particles within a stalagmite SZ-1， from Shizhu Cave in southwestern China from 70.4 to 22.3 thousand years ago (ka) during the last glacial period. Specifically， the parameters IRMsoft， soil-derived magnetic minerals， and ARM/SIRM (anhysteretic remanent magnetization/saturation isothermal remanent magnetization)， the ratio of fine magnetic particles to total ferrimagnetic particles preserved in stalagmite SZ-1， indicate the fluctuation of regional precipitation. Obvious half-precessional cycles are evident in these two proxies， indicating that hydroclimatic variations in southwestern China may predominantly arise from the heat and moisture transported from tropical oceans. These variations are likely influenced by shifts in the Intertropical Convergence Zone and fluctuations in the Asian summer monsoon.

Retrieval of Thin-Ice Thickness(TIT)using thermodynamic modeling is sensitive to the parameterization of the independent variables(coded in the model)and the uncertainty of the measured input *** article examines the deviation of the classical model’s TIT output when using different parameterization schemes and the sensitivity of the output to the ice ***,it estimates the uncertainty of the output in response to the uncertainties of the input *** parameterized independent variables include atmospheric longwave emissivity,air density,specific heat of air,latent heat of ice,conductivity of ice,snow depth,and snow *** input parameters include air temperature,ice surface temperature,and wind *** the independent variables,the results show that the highest deviation is caused by adjusting the parameterization of snow conductivity and depth,followed ice *** sensitivity of the output TIT to ice thickness is highest when using parameterization of ice conductivity,atmospheric emissivity,and snow conductivity and *** retrieved TIT obtained using each parameterization scheme is validated using in situ measurements and satellite-retrieved *** in situ measurements,the uncertainties of the measured air temperature and surface temperature are found to be *** resulting uncertainties of TIT are evaluated using perturbations of the input data selected based on the probability distribution of the measurement *** results show that the overall uncertainty of TIT to air temperature,surface temperature,and wind speed uncertainty is around 0.09 m,0.049 m,and−0.005 m,respectively.

Purpose This study elucidates the rationale,implementation,values,and challenges of the Synergized Quality Improvement Program in Teacher education(SQIPTE)—the first policy specifically dedicated to the development of teaching staff since the founding of the People's Republic of ***/Approach/Methods After introducing the primary structure and rationale of the SQIPTE,this study reviews the existing data and research to explain why the program focuses on local normal colleges and determine how it could be implemented more *** In establishing group-based assistance under the principle of“1+M+N”(M≥N),the SQIPTE seeks to make normal colleges the primary force in the education of rural teachers and explores a collaborative operating mechanism to this *** suggests that this innovative program will provide new practical experience for the collaborative development and quality improvement of ***/Value This study reviews the SQIPTE as a new Chinese intervention to improve the quality of rural *** is strong evidence to suggest that this innovative program will inspire the construction of collaborative operating mechanisms incorporating multiple resources for teacher education systems across different areas.

A novel metal-organic coordination polymer [Mn3（2,2′-dipha）3（phen）6]n·3nH2O （2,2′-dipha = 2,2′-diphenic acid, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline） 1 has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy, and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The crystal crystallizes in triclinic, space group P1 with a = 16.921（5）, b = 18.307（5）, c = 18.450（5）A , α = 113.369（5）, β = 108.529（5）, γ = 102.984（5）°, V = 4553（2）A^ 3, C114H72Mn3N12O14.25, Mr = 2002.66, Dc = 1.461 g/cm^3, μ（MoKα） = 0.488 mm^-1, the final F（000） = 2058, Z = 2, R = 0.0491 and wR = 0.0980 for 9087 observed reflections （I 〉 2σ（I））. In the crystal structure, the manganese atom is six-coordinated with two carboxylate oxygen atoms from different carboxylate groups of the same dipha and four nitrogen atoms from two different phen ligands, showing a slightly distorted octahedral geometry. Fur- thermore, it exhibits a zero-dimensional structure with dipha-Mn-phen- as building units. Variable- temperature magnetic measure shows an overall anti-ferromagnetic behavior for compound 1.

A new one-dimensional copper coordination polymer chain has been prepared and fully characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analyses and IR spectroscopy. The compound { [Cu2（C2O4）2（inta）4]（inta）}n 1 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, with a = 8.4722（5）, b = 10.9825（6）, c = 11.6128（6）A, α= 104.8050（10）,β = 102.5740（10）, γ= 109.6890（10）°, V= 927.18（9） A3, Mr = 929.79, Z = 1, Dc = 1.665 g/cm^3, F（000） = 475, μ = 1.231 mm^-1, R = 0.0453 and wR = 0.1185 for 3290 observed reflections （Ⅰ 〉 2σ（Ⅰ））. Of the compound, the Cu center is octahedrally coordinated with oxalate acting as a tetra-dentate ligand coordinated to the copper atom and each inta serving as a terminal ligand by employing only one N-donor to coordinate with the Cu center. An infinite {Cu2（C2O4）2}∞ chain is formed along the c axis. Furthermore, the 1D chains are held together via extensive hydrogen-bonding interactions to generate a three-dimensional network with 1D channels （ca. 5.491A×11.507A） where inta molecules are filled.

A new metal-organic coordination complex [Zn（H2BPTC）（phen）2]n.3nH2O （BPTC = 3,3＇,4,4＇-benzophenone tetracarboxylate, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline） 1 has been obtained from hydrothermal reaction and characterized by elementaj analysis, IR, TG and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In compound 1, the zinc cation is hexa-coordinated with two carboxylate oxygen atoms from one H2BPTC ligand and four nitrogen atoms from two different phen ligands, showing a slightly distorted octahedral geometry. Crystal data： C41H30N4O12Zn, Mr = 836.06, monoclinic, P21/c, a = 14.2714（9）, b = 16.9386（10）, c = 15.0151（9）A, β = 101.3420（10）^o, V= 3558.8（4）A3 Dc = 1.560 g/cm^3,μ（MoKa） = 0.766 mm^-1, F（000） = 1720, Z= 4, R = 0.0439 and wR = 0.1157 for 4123 observed reflections with I 〉 2 o（I）.
