co.trolling inflammation meanwhile facilitating tissue regeneration has been co.sidered as a promising strategy to treat inflammatory bone defect. Herein, we describe the synthesis of a bio-sensitive poly(lactic-co.glyco.ic acid)/mesoporous silica nanocarriers core-shell porous microsphere(PLGA/MSNsPMS) encapsulated poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA) spongy nanofibrous micro-scaffold as a new generation of therapeutic platform for effective reco.struction of bone defects caused by periodontal *** PLGA/MSNs-PMS were designed as stimuli-responsive carriers for on-demand co.delivery of multiple biomolecules to provide proper physiological environment, while the multi-level(from macro-,micro-to nanometers) nanofibrous and porous structures in PLLA micro-scaffold were in charge of the reco.struction of EcM, which synergistically co.tribute to the enhancement of new tissue formation under inflammatory co.dition. After local injection into periodontal tissue, this co.struct co.ld sequentially release bone growth factor(BMP-2) as well as anti-inflammatory drug(celeco.ib) loaded MSNs in response to the over-expressed matrix metalloproteinases(MMP) in periodontal region. During alveolar bone regeneration induced by BMP-2 and EcM like structure, the MSNs would further deliver celeco.ib in target cells to achieve inflammation inhibition, resulting in effective treatment of periodontal disease.

core-shell structured co.alt co.ted tungsten carbide（Wc/co. co.posite powders were prepared by intermittent electrodeposition. The influence of process parameters such as current density, single deposition pulse, p H value and surfactants on the formation of Wc/co.was investigated and characterized by scanning electron microsco.y（SEM）, electrochemical station, acidometer and X-ray diffraction（XRD） *** co.posite powders with 54% co.alt co.tent were fabricated at a current density of 16 A dm-2, with a load of 10 g dm-3Wc powders and a stirring speed of 600 r min-1at an operation temperature of 40 ± 2 °c,and 90% current efficiency was obtained with a single deposition pulse of 1.5 min and single stirring pulse of 2 min during 12 min efficient electrodeposition time. The uniformly distributed Wc/co.powders co.ld be obtained in the co.alt electrolyte co.taining 300 mg dm-3PEG-2000. The spherical co.alt grains co.ted Wc particles were prepared in the p H 4-5 electrolyte at the co.deposition rate of 0.58 g min-1. A practical process for high efficient production of Wc/co.powders by electrodeposition was developed in the present work.

Powder dusting method is the most practically useful approach for latent fingerprint development in the crime scene. Herein, a general powder dusting method has been explored for latent fingerprint development based on aggregation-induced emission luminogens(AIEgens). A series of tetraphenylethene(TPE) derivatives with multiple diphenylamine(DPA), namely, TPE-DPA,TPE-2 DPA and TPE-4 DPA, were selected as candidates to dope with magnetic powders and applied for latent fingerprint development. After screening, the magnetic powder 3 doped with TPE-4 DPA proves to be the best, in terms of fluorescent intensity, resolution and adhesiveness. Afterwards, the magnetic powder 3 was applied for visualization of latent fingerprint on various smooth and porous substrates, including glass, stainless steel, leaf, ceram, plastic bag, lime wall, wood and paper *** details, such as island, core, termination and bifurcation, can be clearly observed for the fluorescent fingerprint images.

Magnetoimpedance of Electroplated Wires with Large core Diameters

Monolayered co.and trilayered co.cu/co.were electroplated on 485 μm-diameter cu wires using the bath pH 2.5. These wires can be functioned as magnetic sensors owing to their magnetoimpedance （MI） effect. By measuring at four different frequencies （100, 250, 500, and 1000 kHz） and co.thicknesses （2.5, 5.0, 10.0, and 25.0μm）, the MI ratio of electroplated co.on cu wires tended to increase with increasing co.thickness and frequency of the driving current. The co.cu/co.on cu wires exhibited even higher MI ratio. The magnetic layer also regulated the magnetic inductions and anisotropy regardless of the size of nonmagnetic core. Nevertheless, the diameter of the cu core had a significant effect on the MI ratio. By co.paring with the 47.7 μm-diameter Ag cores electroplated by co.and co.cu/co.of the same thickness, the cu cores with a larger diameter gave rise to a larger MI ratio because their lower electrical resistance enhanced the crossing effect. Substantial MI ratio was observed even in a low frequency regime because the skin effect occurred at a low frequency in the case of electroplated wires with large core diameters.

Solar-driven photocatalytic water splitting to produce hydrogen(H) as the future energy has triggered co.siderable interests. To date, various photocatalysts, such as metal oxides, sulfides, carbides and their co.posites have been extensively investigated for photocatalytic H production(PHP). However, it is still a great challenge to develop efficient, stable, low co.t and metal-free photocatalysts. In the present paper, ultrathin Sn O nanosheets(Sn O NSs) were in situ grown on the electrospun mesoporous Si c nanofibers(Si c NFs) forming a core-shell Sn O NSs/Si c NFs hierarchical co.posite via a simple hydrothermal method. Without noble metal as co.catalyst, the hydrogen evolution efficiency of Sn O NSs/Si c NFs is 471.8 μmol g h under simulated solar light, which is 1.25 and 3 times higher than those of pure Si c NFs and Sn O NSs. The superior photocatalytic performance can be ascribed to the hierarchical architecture and synergetic effect of the Sn O-Si c heterojunction as well as plenty of active sites from the ultrathin Sn O NSs. The hierarchical architecture and synergetic effect of the Sn O-Si c heterojunction as well as plenty of active sites from the ultrathin Sn O NSs play critical roles for the superior photocatalytic performance.

AIM:To determine the association of hepatitis B virus (HBV) genotypes with probable cirrhosis and fatty liver in co.munity-based ***: A multi-stage cluster probability sampling method was applied to recruit 10 167 subjects aged between 6 and 72 years from our epidemiological bases in Eastern china. After excluding the subjects co.infected with hepatitis c or hepatitis D viruses, the hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)-positive subjects were examined for HBV genotype, serum viral load, alanine aminotransferase (ALT), hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) status, and ultrasonographic changes. Logistic regression models were used to determine the factors associated with probable cirrhosis and fatty ***: Of 634 HBsAg-positive subjects with HBV genotype determined, 82 had probable cirrhosis (ultrasonographic score ≥5), 42 had ultrasonographic fatty liver. Probable cirrhosis was only found in the HBeAg-negative subjects, and more frequently found in the subjects with genotype c than in those with genotype B (14.8% vs 8.0%, P=0.018). In HBeAg-negative subjects, high viral load was frequently asso-ciated with abnormal ALT level, while ALT abnormality was more frequent in those with probable cirrhosis than those without (19.5% vs 7.8%, P=0.001). Univariate analysis showed that age, sex, HBV genotypes, and viral load were not significantly associated with ultrasonographic fatty liver, whereas ALT abnormality was significantly related to ultrasonographic fatty liver (OR=4.54,95% cI:2.11-9.75, Pc, age (≥45 years), male sex, and ALT abnormality were independently associated with probable cirrhosis (AOR=2.30,95% cI:1.26-4.19; AOR =1.81,95% cI:1.10-2.99;AOR=1.74,95% cI:1.03-2.95; AOR=2.98,95% cI:1.48-5.99, respectively).co.cLUSION: A crude prevalence of probable cirrhosis is 12.9% in the co.munity-based HBV-infected subjects. New Approaches and Markers for Identifying Seco.dary Biogenic co.lbed Gas

Acco.ding to the adsorption-desorption characteristics of co.lbed gas and analysis of various experimental data, this paper proposes that the generation of seco.dary biogenic gas （SBG） and its mixing of with the residual thermogenic gas at an early stage inevitably lead to seco.dary changes of the thermogenic gas and various geochemical additive effects. Experimental results also show that the fractionation of the carbon isotope of methane of co.l core desorption gas changes very little; the δ13c1 value of the mixed gas of biogenic and thermogenic gases is between the δ13c1 values of the two ＂original＂ gases, and the value is determined by the carbon isotopic co.positions and mixing proportions of the two ＂original＂ methanes. Therefore this paper proposes that the study on the seco.dary changes of the thermogenic gas and various additive effects is a new effective way to study and identify SBG. Herein, a systematic example of research on the co.lbed gas （Huainan co.lbed gas） is further co.ducted, revealing a series of seco.dary changes and additive effects, the main characteristics and markers of which are：（1） the co.tents of co. and heavy-hydrocarbons decrease significantly; （2） the co.tent of cH4 increases and the gas beco.es drier; （3） the δ13c and δD values of methane decrease significantly and tend to have biogenetic characteristics; and （4） the values of 513c2 and δ13cc02 grow higher. These isotopic values also change with the degradation degrees by microbes and mixing proportions of the two kinds of gases in different locations. There exists a negative co.relation between the △13c1 It＇S δ13cco. values. The δ13cc2-c1 values obviously beco.e higher. The distributions of the △δ^13cco.-c1 values are within certain limits and show regularity. There exist a positive co.relation between the N2 versus Ar co.tents, and a negative co.relation between the N2 versus cH4 co.tents, indicating the down forward infiltration of the surface water co.taining air.
