dynamic Response of Structure under Blast Load

The paper follows from the theory of explosion and interaction of an impact wave formed by the explosion and a structure. Firstly, the paper determines the parameters of the blast wave excited by a small charge explosion. The empirical formulas on the basis of our own experimental results are shown and used for the structure analysis. Evaluations of structures loaded by an explosion based on dynamic response in rotations round the central line of plate or beam systems during the dynamic load of this type is discussed in the paper and comparison of own limit values and published ones is presented. Blast loads typically produce very high strain rates in the range of 102 to 10-4 s-1. The effect of strain rate for concrete material is discussed. The formulas for increased compressive strength of concrete and steel reinforcement are presented. The ductility of structural members is influenced by the corresponding values under high strain rate of reinforcement, Damage to the structure is assessed accordingly firstly by the angle of rotation of the middle axis/surface, and secondly by the limit internal forces of the selected structure. The extreme nature of blast resistance makes it necessary to accept that structural members have some degree of inelastic response in most cases. This enables the application of structure dissipation using the ductility factor and increased of concrete strength. The limits are correlated with qualitative damage expectations. The methodology of dynamic response assessment and its application to the simple bridge structure is discussed.

The solution of vibration transfer from the subsoil to the structure is demonstrated using the example of a multi-storey reinforced concrete building, founded on a dual foundation plate. An anti-vibration layer of rubber has been designed between the two plates. Two 3D numerical models of the building take into account the individual storeys, firstly together with the lay-out of the rubber distribution in the foundation pan and secondly without this rubber part. For response analysis, the measured time histories in the construction area were selected and then the typical response was used as an input for a dynamic analysis of the structure.

Integral abutment bridges(IABs)minimize deterioration and degradation of the abutment seats and bearings due to water,dirt,and deicing chemicals by eliminating bearings and expansion *** the continuity between superstructure and abutments in an IAB is beneficial for reducing maintenance costs,it leads to more complex behavior under strength and service loading(temperature and traffic)and extreme loading(earthquake).The coupling of superstructure and substructure behavior necessitates system-level analysis of *** seismic IAB studies have typically investigated the behavior of individual IAB components,however a gap of knowledge has developed due to the lack of studies and investigation about the behavior of all IAB components and their interactions with each other in a single analysis *** study uses nonlinear static and dynamic analyses to investigate and assess the seismic behavior of IABs typical to the state of *** analyses aim to bridge the gap of knowledge by evaluating IABs as a whole and utilizing the results to indicate potential vulnerabilities in the design and construction of IABs in Illinois during design-level and larger seismic events,which could not be identified by component-level IAB analyses alone.

Many methodologies identify, analyze, and assess static risks to quantify potential disaster losses based on past and current events. static methodologies will not, however, capture how climate change and adaptation are rapidly affecting the natural and social systems in many areas. Local and global changes such as those associated with development investments, livelihood pressures, political stability, and demographic trends are also affecting many areas, especially in emerging economies. Risk identification, analysis, and assessment methodologies must integrate all changes dynamically so that risk reduction and development decisions can be based on future needs. After a theoretical explanation of how to integrate dynamic changes, a static Household Economy Analysis(HEA) completed for a rapidly changing area of East Timor was altered using current trends to make the analysis more dynamic. Some inherent difficulties exist with a more dynamic approach and recommendations for overcoming them are presented. Research, government, and nongovernment personnel interested in integrated approaches to risk reduction and development decision-making in areas subject to rapid change will find the study useful.

Path Planning for Mobile Anchor Node in Localization Based on Ad-Hoc Localization Algorithm

For mobile anchor node static path planning cannot accord the actual distribution of node for dynamic adjustment. We take advantage of the high localization accuracy and low computational complexity of ad-hoc localization system( AHLos)algorithm. This article introduces mobile anchor nodes instead of the traditional fixed anchor nodes to improve the algorithm. The result shows that, through introduce the mobile anchor node, the information of initial anchor nodes can be configured more ***,with the use of the approximate location and the transition path,the distance and energy consumption of the mobile anchor node is greatly reduced.

Defining Reservoir Quality Relationships: How Important Are Overburden and Klinkenberg Corrections?

Reservoir quality from cored intervals has traditionally been described by grouping similar intervals according to rock type. The main shortcoming of this static modelling approach is that it lacks clarity and it is not conducive for setting up a dynamic simulation model. The alternative is to use a modelling approach based on Hydraulic Flow Zone Units (HFZUs). First proposed in the late 1980s and extensively published in the early 1990s such formulation uses the well-known Carman-Kozeny (C-K) equation. More recently, this approach has been extended to cover a wider range of geological formations with diverse pore structure types. In using a HFZU approach, a pre-processing step is customarily undertaken to first overburden correct the data and where necessary also to correct for the Klinkenberg effect (lower permeability formations, lab testing with gas). The study presented compares corrected and uncorrected data sets, to see if correction alters the overall outcome of HFZU analysis. Specifically, data sets are compared at three different conditions: ambient, overburden (only) corrected and finally data that has been corrected for both, overburden and Klinkenberg effects. In all cases it is the Flow Zone Indicator (FZI), an index representative of formation quality that is tracked, together with the type of relationship. Several comparative analysis examples are given for diverse formations. The results show that uncorrected data can yield a different correlation and FZI, especially for intervals that include low permeability samples. Results indicate that Overburden and Klinkenberg corrections should be applied before HFZU analysis.

The current method of evaluating passenger satisfaction primarily adopts the traditional static evaluation mode,which can hardly satisfy the dynamic regulatory requirements of highway passenger transport service quality set by industry management *** this paper,we summarize the characteristics of real-time dynamic evaluation under the requirements of hierarchical and classified evaluation and analyze the entire process of the one-time travel service of highway passenger *** focus on station waiting and in-vehicle services,extract the elements most concerned by passengers as evaluation indexes,and construct a three-level index ***,a multi-indicator comprehensive evaluation method based on the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is selected to construct a comprehensive evaluation *** combining with the development level of electronic ticket purchasing and the requirements of satisfaction evaluation,we propose three data collection methods and compare and analyze their strengths and ***,based on actual survey data,the effectiveness of the model is *** verification results show that the real-time dynamic evaluation index system based on the Internet can better satisfy evaluation requirements.
